As the words "All Cadets prepare for disembarkation..." reverberated from the ceilings, Khan snapped his eyes open.
"Guess we're here after all the waiting," the voice of Instructor Aelia rang out from opposite him as he watched her rise from her sleeping position on the sofa.
Sitting on the sofa for about an entire day, Khan felt like dying doing nothing throughout the entire day, but he had closed his eyes and acted like he was asleep until they finally arrived at their destination.
Immediately, he could feel the airplane making a sharp bend in its path, experiencing close to zero gravity due to the sharp descent, but managing to keep himself on the chair, avoiding an embarrassing moment of crashing against the opposite seat.
Slowly, the speed of the plane slowed down before finally skidding to a complete stop.
