Rise of Supergirl (Marvel/Twilight)

Waking up in the body of Kara Zor-El as she was crashing to Earth was an exciting way to be introduced to the Marvel Universe. Thankfully, Kara was a genius. With her intellect and foreknowledge, she would easily become an amazing hero! There was just one little surprise... Was that Bella Swan, crying and abandoned in the middle of a forest? R18+/Yuri/No Harem/Maybe a threesome?

C3 The Girl Who Couldn't Stop Attracting the Supernatural

Kara loved the feeling of flying through the sky, unhindered and unchained. With her flight capabilities alone, she was nearly untouchable to the mortal world.

She flew straight up, gaining speed until she broke the sound barrier with a sonic boom. In seconds, Kara was high enough that she could see the curvature of the Earth. She soaked in the sunlight and could literally feel herself become a little stronger with every second that passed. The growth was easy for her to notice because her body was still incredibly weak for a Kryptonian under a yellow sun. Every little bit of strength was quite the boost at this stage.

Stopping high in the air, Kara took a deep breath and exhaled, beaming with an exuberant smile. For the first time, she felt truly free. Nothing and nobody could control her under the vastness of the sky.

"Hell yes! I'm Supergirl!" she yelled with a fist pump. "Let's see what I can really do~" With an impish grin, Kara focused her mind and prepared to accelerate to her limits. Before she could take off towards the horizon her enhanced hearing picked up the whimper of a young woman.

Eyes widening in shock, Kara barely had a moment for conscious thought before her body was already moving, shooting back towards the ground like a bullet.

A dozen or so kilometers away from her ship Kara came across the source of the distressed voice that caught her attention. On the ground of the forest, huddled up against the trunk of an ancient tree, was a young woman covered in dirt, scratches, and bruises.

What was she doing out here?

The girl was not dressed for the weather in the slightest. She was wearing a thin brown jacket and blue jeans. Her shoes were in bad shape, obviously not designed for whatever rough trek she'd been through. She was passed out, sleeping fitfully, muttering, and Kara could tell she was in pain, beyond the physical. Her hands clawed at her face, gripping painfully tight even through her troubled dreams.

"Edward... Please... Don't go!" the girl groaned, calling out in her sleep. Those words paired with her extremely familiar features stirred Kara's memory.

"Good fucking Rao," Kara swore under her breath, unable to believe that the first human she met in this world was so iconic. Unless Kara was mistaken, this girl was Isabella Marie Swan, the protagonist of Twilight, and she was beautiful.

Bella, despite her messed up clothes, distress, and injuries, was probably the most alluring girl Kara had ever seen. Aside from herself, obviously. As Kara knelt down next to Bella to check her condition, Kara catalogued everything about the girl in front of her.

The first thing that stood out was Bella's scent. It was delightfully overpowering and washed over Kara in a wave. Bella smelled of lavender, honey, and a forest after fresh rainfall. It was so complex and called to her in such a way that Kara was briefly stunned. Her new and improved senses were getting quite the workout.

Bella's eyelashes fluttered as she was tormented by her nightmares, and Kara's heart hurt for the poor girl. Most of all though, she was hyper-focused on the slight trembling that started to overtake Bella as her pain intensified. It was like Kara was dialed in to Bella's every minute movement.

Bella's eyes shot open for barely an instant and she called out, "Edward!"

Kara's perception of time slowed as she instinctively pushed her super speed to its limit. Bella's hazel eyes drew Kara in and refused to let her look away. The one second Bella's eyes were briefly open were like an eternity to Kara. She filed away every last detail her enhanced eyesight perceived.

Dozens of slightly different shades of brown, all coming together to make the most brilliant hazel Kara had ever seen. The slight hint of green that popped out closer to the pupil that made them just that much more unique. To vanilla humans, Bella's eyes probably looked like an ordinary light brown, but Kara could see what Edward saw in the mortal girl.

Kara could gaze into Bella's eyes all day long. Unfortunately, if the timeline was as Kara suspected, then she should probably move the little human to a safer location, like her totally unchaperoned spaceship, before the big, bad Alpha of the wolf pack came to steal her away.

Kara allowed her perception to return to normal and Bella returned to her nightmares. Kara moved to pick up the sleeping Swan when she was interrupted by the sound of a large beast crashing through the forest. Kara turned, putting Bella at her back, and faced her expected visitor.

"That timing is a little suspicious," Kara muttered. Think of the mutt and he shall appear.

Kara was probably the most powerful person on the planet, but she didn't have much experience with her godlike power. When she came face to face with a giant shapeshifting werewolf, she froze, unsure what her first move should be.

The wolf screeched to a halt in a similar state of shock, likely at the strange girl wearing some sort of costume, chilling with a roughed-up girl in the middle of nowhere. Kara thought about introducing herself to the young Alpha of the Quileute pack, Sam Uley, but when she glanced at Bella out of the corner of her eye she became... a little greedy.

Damn, Bella was so in her strike zone that she was willing to get a little unethical to keep her to herself. Edward and Jacob didn't deserve her, anyways. Even if Bella didn't swing her way, she would still make for an interesting friend. According to the original plot, Sam was the one who would bring Bella home to Charlie, but Kara decided to change that.

"Sorry about this, big guy," Kara offered her condolences to the werewolf. She didn't want to let on that she knew what he was quite yet. You can get away with way more shit if people think you're ignorant or acting on incorrect information. They say that knowledge is power, but so is ignorance, in many ways, on both sides of the equation.

Sam tilted his giant shaggy head curiously, wondering what the strange girl was talking about. Faster than his enhanced senses could track, Kara crashed into him, grabbed him in a tight hug, and flew him a few kilometers away, keeping to the tops of the trees.

Kara covered the distance in a few seconds, leaving shock waves from the broken sound barrier in her wake. Kara dumped Sam on the ground in a random part of the forest and sped back to Bella. As she flew away, she sent a glance back and smirked at the frazzled and confused look on the big dog's face.

Kara laughed to herself at just how fast she could move. Even compared to supernatural creatures like vampires and werewolves, she was still so much faster it was like they were standing still. She picked up Bella's limp form and sped off at a more manageable speed.

Kara focused on the way her powers naturally interacted with her fragile human cargo. Her biokinetic field wrapped around Bella, protecting her from any excessive forces that may arise during high-speed movement. All done instinctively. Kara couldn't wait to find out what she could do once she had full knowledge of and control over her powers.

Kara always thought the old superman movies were so unrealistic, but, upon closer inspection, they did have an explanation for the physics-defying heroics that should've ended with far more dead damsels. Kara could probably fly at her full speed and Bella would be no more or less affected than she is now. Kryptonians were such cheat characters.

As she flew away from the big doggie with her prize in her arms, Kara couldn't help but plan how she was going to get everything she wanted from her new life. Her main priorities? Have fun, maybe seduce Bella if she's not too depressing after getting dumped, and meet all her favourite formerly fictional characters!

She was in luck. The universe delivered a young beauty right into her lap the moment she first stepped out into public. Talk about a protagonist's aura. Bella was the first human she ever laid eyes on in this life! Kara didn't believe in coincidence, but she wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Kara would just have to show Bella that she was a much better choice than a brooding sparkly vampire or a smelly wolf-boy.

If Bella wasn't into her, no big deal, but Kara was going to shoot her shot, supernatural boyfriends be-damned.

No regrets!

Kara wasn't super familiar with romance, but she did have a decent knowledge of what worked and what didn't, especially in her unique situation. After all, wasn't there a gorgeous, promiscuous red-headed alien princess somewhere out there in the multiverse that used her ignorance of human culture to her advantage to bag quite a few lovers?

If Starfire existed in this universe, Kara was sure they would be great friends. She prayed to Rao that she might someday meet the precocious Tamaranean. Preferably before the young girl suffered too much.

All she had to do was channel her inner-Kori and play the sexy, naive, alien princess. There shouldn't be too many issues with that. Bella couldn't resist the secrets of a vampire, so how would she react to a literal alien? Oh, well. Even if Kara cocked it up somehow, her main competition was still just Edward. Kara refused to believe anyone would choose him over her if they had a real choice.

Bella obviously wanted to be a part of something more. She didn't necessarily want Edward or to be a vampire. To Bella, Edward represented an entire family, a way of life that she yearned to one day be a part of. Once Bella learned she had other options, like the last survivor of an advanced alien species with a kick-ass spaceship...

It was like one of those cheesy Shakespearean romance novels that Bella loved so much. Maybe. Kara didn't know much about the classics, but she'd consider reading some of them to learn about Bella's tastes. Kara could read outside her comfort zone for a while if it meant she got to claim the beauty in her arms in the end. She might even end up liking those dusty old books!

Kara took a wide route back to her ship, flying hundreds of kilometers away before circling back around. Bella wasn't anywhere close to where her ship crashed, but it didn't hurt to be careful.

With the wolves' supernatural senses, it wouldn't take much for them to track her down if she wasn't careful. Until the engines were repaired, Kara needed to keep this place a secret from her potential enemies. She didn't have any malice towards the Quileutes but they did have a nasty habit of biting first and asking questions later when it came to unfamiliar things.

This version of Earth was apparently the world of Twilight, where vampires and shapeshifters ran around spreading broodiness and angst. It didn't help that so many supernaturals were eternal teenagers, with the hormones and poor decision making to match.

Kara returned to her ship and double-checked that the atmosphere matched Earth's basic atmospheric composition so nothing untoward would happen to Bella. Kara wasn't going to take any chances. This world was obviously very different from the vanilla DC or Marvel universe she was expecting, and she was going to be very cautious lest she bring some random calamity down on her head.

Kara stared down at Bella as she got her settled in a small bed in the medical bay. Kelor started some basic first aid treatment to ensure Bella didn't suffer from her jaunt through the forest. If anything happened or changed in her condition, Kelor would alert her.

As Kara left the young human to her slumber, she couldn't stop her thoughts from wandering. Twilight and Marvel at the same time? Kara herself was supposed to be from DC! There was no way to say what fate awaited her in a fused universe like this.

Kara hoped nothing too crazy was awaiting her in the future. For the first time in this life, she actually prayed a little to Rao. She was a Kryptonian and it kind of felt wrong to pray to anyone else. What would human gods do if a Kryptonian started praying to them?

By Rao, Kara wasn't even sure what versions of the various pantheons existed in this reality! They could be anything from long-lived aliens to true gods to demons in disguise! Really, how exhausting. Kara had a feeling her new life wasn't going to be as happy-go-lucky as she first assumed. Oh, well. All she could do was her best. Woe be to anyone who gets in her way.

While Bella slept, Kara busied herself with preparing for her hero activities. Very soon, Supergirl would make her debut to the world. Kara couldn't wait!
