'Where am I?'

The first thought that enter my mind when I opened my eyes and found myself in a white room. Trying to remember how I got here, I was assaulted with a terrible headache. Suddenly flashes of memories started playing in my mind. I held my head and started screaming in pain. Slowly, the images began to stop and I regained my memories of what seems to be my previous life.

'My name is Raizel. It seems I have died at last. Well the sufferings have finally ended.'

You see in my previous life, I was suffering from blood cancer. Being an orphan left me with no one to care. But thankfully I was able to get treatment from an mysterious man. He was the owner of a pharmaceutical company working on developing a cure for cancer.

I was one of the few who were selected for the program in return of treatment. I readily agreed for the proposal. I didn't have any money and I didn't want to suffer.

Then what happened after this was a daily routine of various tests and different types of treatment. It was found out later that my blood cells was mutating slowly and producing antigens to fight back cancer cells. Whatever medicine they had injected me with was showing results.

But the process was slow. The constant fighting in my body made me weaker every day. Even with the doctors constantly trying to help me, didn't makw my situation any better. I was slowly dying.

The only ray of light in this darkness was the news that using my blood they managed to find a cure. With this last news I finally died.

"Well it seems I was able to be of some use at last. It is not a bad way of dying."

"You are right young one."

Suddenly I heard a voice speaking to me behind my back. I hastily turned around. I was surprised when I saw a glowing ball of light.

"Hello! young soul."

I jumped back when the ball of light spoke to me.

"Who are you?"

"No need to be afraid Raizel. I am what you human beings know as GOD. Though I am one of the few beings in charge of reincarnation."

"What? You are a GOD?"

"I think I already told you that."

"Well how I am I supposed to know. It is not every day you get to meet GOD."

"Yeah! You are right about that. Anyway let's stop this topic. I am here to offer you a chance of to reincarnate in another world. You have gained enough positive karma for that. With the use of your blood a cure for cancer was made. It has saved millions of life. Not only that, but also your blood helped to cure other incurable disease."

I was jumping with joy when I heard GOD's proposal. Who didn't want to reincarnate in another world. I had read enough novels during my life to jump in joy with this chance.

"Can I reincarnate in any fictional world? Can I have cool powers like those protagonists? Will I retain my memories?" I started asking him questions like a kid in sugar rush.

"Stop! Stop! Stop! I know you are ecstatic, but stop asking so many questions. Yes you will get to choose a world. All those stories, novels, fantasies you humans have are often inspired from different realities. Sometimes one gets a glimpse of these worlds and often wrote about them. But I will warn you, not every story you read is accurate. So there may be changes. As for your memories, you will retain them. As for powers, well there is a limit to what you can actually wish for. The only reason you are getting this choice is for your karma. Otherwise you would have been reincarnated without any power.

No over powering abilities like to create anything you wish for or reality wrapping powers. You can use your wits to gain them later after getting reincarnated. The power you can wish for must not be from other worlds. Also you can't wish for any absurd system."

I listened carefully to all the rules and began to think carefully. While I would love to go to many worlds, I doubt he would allow such a wish. After thinking for some time, I decided to ask him about the opposite.

"Can I go to a world which is a mix of different realities?"

"Hmm it is not impossible, but it will depend upon which worlds you want to mix."

"How about a combined world of The Originals, The Noblesse and Twilight?"

These three fictions were my most favourite ones. I spend most of my time watching them.

"It is possible but I have to remind you such a world will not follow any timeline. Beside important events, all other events may not happen when they were supposed to happen."

"Thanks GOD. As for my power, I wish to have both Raizel's and Muzaka's powers without any side effects." Just imagining me with cool blood wings and physical strength makes my heart beating rapidly. I have always loved Raizel's ability to use blood as his power. It was so amazing reading that manhwa. The only being who could compete against him was the previous lord and Muzaka.

And Muzaka's regeneration and physical abilities were insane.

"Hmm now that is a difficult wish. I cannot give you such powers from the start."

"You can't? Hmm, how about a compromise then? Just give me the potential to achieve that level of power with proper training." I somewhat guessed he wouldn't allow such powers. But having the potential was an different matter altogether.

"I can give you that. So combined powers of Raizel's and Muzaka's as growth potential. It will depend upon you, how much you will be able to achieve. Who knows you would have to spend a lifetime reaching their level."

Well I suppose this was for better.

"Now that everything is completed, prepare yourself Raizel. Now you are going to be reborn."

"Thank you GOD for fulfilling my wishes."

"Don't mention it. It was your karma that allowed for such wishes. Good luck in your next life. Farewell."

I was suddenly enveloped in a warm light and I lost my conscious. But before that I felt I had forgotten something very important.

'Wait I didn't specify when and where I was supposed to be born.' But it was too late for that.
