I raised my guard as I looked at the wolves who watched him with bloodlust and forced my body to hold steady and not shake, my mind a bit shaky at the moment making him sweat.

( Breathe deeply!)

My eyes widened a little when I heard that voice in my head but I followed his commands and took a deep breath and let out a breath of air that came out in the form of vapor, at that moment my nerves calmed and I focused on the wolves that came at me with one of the wolves leaping towards me.

(Dodge and strike.)

The voice sounded again and as if my body was much lighter than normal I took a step to the side and cut my sword down, the blade felt no resistance as it passed through the wolf's neck and decapitated it.

(Keep Focus, get down)

Following the commands I ducked just in time for a wolf to swipe over me, I could feel its spittle falling onto my fur and instinctively I rolled to the side and scrambled to my feet again.

Several thoughts of what would happen if that blow hit me popped into my mind and made me lose my posture for a moment, another wolf lunged at me and stretched out its claws to cut me.

(Block!)

The voice sounded again but out of fear I was delayed for a moment and the wolf slashed at my chest with its claws, the blow knocked the air out of my lungs and I was sent flying backwards but was able to roll over and get to my feet.

Thanks to the leather armor I didn't suffer any damage but there were deep claw marks on it.

(Listen, stay focused, fear isn't real, stop thinking about the future and stay in the moment.)

The voice sounded again but I didn't have time to put what she said into practice because another wolf was already attacking me with his mouth trying to bite my torso and reflexively I punched him but my punch was too weak and he bit my arm by sticking your teeth on it.

"Argh!" I screamed in pain as I felt his fangs pierce my flesh and using that moment of focus I stuck my sword down the throat of the wolf who cried before letting me go and I stood up in that moment with my arm all bloody and without strength in it.

(You are vulnerable.)

"No need to say." I muttered as I let out a low curse and faced the last 3 wolves they slowly circled around me taking advantage of the fact that I was bleeding and waiting for me to give them a break to attack.

(Kneel down.)

The words in the voice sounded again but he was confused by what she said, "You want to kill me? If I get down on my knees they'll eat me alive!" He screamed in his mind as he tried to keep all the wolves in her sight.

(If you remain stationary, you will die too, now kneel down.)

The voice screamed angrily in my head and seeing my situation I decided to obey, with a great regret I put my knees against the ground while using the cane sword as support.

(Now you know what to do.)

The voice sounded one last time before it faded and I felt the wind rush past me at that moment and I closed my eyes as I controlled my breathing, the wolves that were circling him continued on alert circling him.

This situation lasted 2 and a half minutes and the wolves looked at each other before deciding to attack him at the same time, as a single unit they advanced towards me with their jaws and claws exposed ready to bite me.

When they were a few moments away from biting me I opened my eyes and moved my bloody arm shooting blood in the eyes of a wolf that retracted its muscles in surprise making it pass straight by me and with one movement I pulled the sword from the ground and cut a wolf from the side with a circular movement and using the impetus I stuck it in the mouth of the last wolf making the sword go through it and blood splashed over me already covered in blood.

"Now only you are left!" I screamed and wasting no time I dropped the sword and jumped on the wolf who was trying to get the blood out of his eyes and started to choke him, the animal cried and struggled as I squeezed with all my strength its neck.

He spat saliva, tears and blood as he cried but I hardened my heart and kept squeezing harder and harder and started screaming to stifle his crying.

Crack!

As something snapped, the wolf's neck went limp and its tongue dropped out of its body signaling it was dead, I let out a long breath before falling off of him onto the grass on the ground.

All I wanted most now was sleep but I had to do something else now, forcing my tired body to get up I pulled my sword from the wolf's corpse and headed towards Hannibal's battle.

Arriving I saw the body of the great dead Wolf with a stone stuck in the place of one eye but his claws full of blood, "Hannibal!" Fearing the worst I screamed my general's name but there was no answer making me more tense.

"Hannibal!' I yelled again and heard a noise coming from behind a tree with trails of blood leading to it, "ANÍBAL!" I yelled as I ran and looked at what was behind the tree.

"My lord coff, coff." Hannibal said giving a small smile followed by a cough, there was a big hole in his stomach and his previous injuries were almost fully exposed making him bleed even more.

"Oh my god, Hannibal!" I yelled as I tried to press against his stomach trying to staunch the wound but that action only led to laughter from his general, "My lord I see you won but unfortunately your subordinate will have to leave it was a truly fun two days." The old general said while giving a weak smile.

Despair filled my heart and I started to cry as I hugged the old general, the last thing I could hear from him was a small laugh before he let out his last breath making me shed even more tears.
