Rin Replaced (BL)

Tragically, Rin Grace - just your average person going about their day - was caught in a terrible accident. Amidst a heated argument, he stumbled and fell into oncoming traffic, causing a car to hit him, knocking him unconscious. At the same time, in another world, Misha Minari, an assassin, was shot. Fortunately, Misha woke up in a hospital bed, where he was greeted by an unfamiliar face standing beside him. "You seem to be fine. Next time, don't run out in front of my car. I will be handling the bill. Take care, Mr. Grace." He says as the door closes behind him. The man who just left was Jay Fenrick, the Crown Prince himself. Misha was feeling very confused and uncertain. He looked around, trying to make sense of his surroundings, but it was all too bewildering. Suddenly, he noticed something strange - his hands looked different. In fact, they didn't even seem like his own hands at all. Misha rushed over to a nearby mirror, and, to his horror, he saw a stranger staring back at him. It was clear that he was no longer in his own body, and he was now someone else entirely. What happened to the original Rin Grace? How did Misha end up as the Crown Prince's bodyguard, and what will Misha do now? Uploads Mon, Wed, Fri.

When Rin and Anon came back last night, neither of them had much to say. Rin looked down for some reason, and Anon looked pissed. I don't know what happened, but Anon said he would tell me more after they got back from Quintet Labs. While they are gone, I have work to catch up on, and I have to talk to my father about the Black faction. He said he would handle it, but I doubt he will. It seems my father couldn't care less about his children. He was the one who wanted to call off the search for Kista. My mother was furious. So was I. It still doesn't make sense to this day. My father loved Kista. He was perfect in his eyes. His true heir. So, why would he want to call off the search only after a few months? My mother wouldn't let him. My mother found out a year or so later that my father had stopped looking and didn't tell her. My mother's depression became so bad that she wouldn't leave the palace and would lash out at my father. Her mood swings were terrifying at times. One minute, she would be loving towards my father, and the next, she would threaten to kill him. She never hurt him, but she did hurt me. It was an accident. It really was. I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Mother threw a teacup at him, and I walked right into its path. I ended up needing stitches on my shoulder. Mother shut herself in her room for days. No one could get her to eat or bathe. The staff asked me to try to talk to her, but when I went in to see her. I found her lying on the bathroom floor, covered in blood. She had been dead for hours. If I hadn't gotten hurt, she wouldn't have felt guilty. If it had been me who was kidnapped, my mother might still be alive.

"The Black faction? They aren't anyone to be concerned about. They are the lowest on the color wheel. You said they caught a few of them? Then, is there really anything else that needs to be done? The rest will run with their tails between their legs and won't bother you anymore. Let it be." My father says coldly.

I knew he would be like this.

"How can you let an assassination attempt go unpunished? It makes you look weak." I snap.

Maybe if I threatened his image, he would take this seriously.

"Weak? HA! That's funny coming from you. What power do you have? Where's your so-called strength? Why do you insist on challenging every decision of mine? You don't understand what it takes to run a country. You need to learn when to move on. Dwelling on things will only drag you down. Now, enough. Let me work." My father says as he waves me away.

"I knew you would be like this," I say as I stomp out of his office.

Why can't that man ever follow through with anything? I knew he didn't care about my safety, but I was sure that his image would spark his interest. It looks like if I want to solve this, I will have to do it myself. I kept the fact that Kista may be alive to myself. He wouldn't believe me anyway. He is useless.

I wonder what is taking Anon so long. He was just supposed to take Rin to the lab and then come back. They both were acting strange today. I can't help but be worried. What happened last night? I find myself pacing back and forth in my office. Should I go there myself? Anon and Rin haven't been answering. What if something happened? Yeah, I should go. Just as I was grabbing my coat, Anon walked in.

"Where are you going?" Anon asks as he pulls out a folder from his bag.

"I was going to find you and Rin. What took you so long?" I ask.

Anon plops down on the couch and opens up the folder. He grabs a file out and hands it to me.

"Sign this, please." Anon sighs.

He looks exhausted.

"What is this?" I say as I read the paper.

What? Contract termination?? Why is he terminating Rin's contract?

"What is going on, Anon? You need to explain. Where's Rin? You can't just leave me in the dark and make decisions on your own." I snap.

What exactly happened for Anon to do this behind my back?

"I learned some very unpleasant things about Rin last night, and I took matters into my own hands for your safety. Rin is officially fired and is moved back to Parkers. I am sorry I made this decision without you, but after I explain, I am sure you will agree with my choice." Anon says with confidence. Fuck. Anon won't let this go this time. What did Rin do?

Anon takes his time explaining everything to me. I can't believe Anon was attacked, and he didn't tell me. God, so much happened, and I wasn't there for him. In fact, Anon took care of everything for my sake. Rin seems to be having a hard time mentally. Anon was right to be concerned about me, but I feel like Rin needs help. What if all this makes things worse? Anon had him tested for all kinds of things and had his D.ID entered into the system till we can get to the bottom of this. He even had a tracker implanted in him. We can legally put trackers on people with permission as a condition for release. Since Rin is here illegally and has too many unknown factors, we can't just send him away without some insurance. This doesn't seem right.

I know we don't have much of a choice, and Anon is being objective, but I don't think Rin is dangerous. Rin was cooperative and answered all the questions Anon asked. Rin doesn't seem to be trying to hide anything. He even wants to deal with the man who attacked Anon himself without our help. Anon was right to do this, but I wish he would have at least allowed me to have a say. Though, if I'm honest, I don't think I could have been objective like Anon. I think my feelings towards Rin go beyond that of an employer. I don't understand them myself just yet, but I know I would have fought Anon on this if he included me. Gahh! This is all a mess. What do we do now? Who are you really, Rin?
