In the face of the dire situation, Tony didn't dare to waste any time. Despite the damaged left arm and reduced speed of the Mark 10 suit, he activated the power propulsion device once more. However, with the impaired left arm, reaching Mach 7 was already pushing the limits.
"Sir, I have located an F fighter," Jarvis reported.
"Quickly, follow up with all your strength, and be sure to arrive before Jude Herbert can find him," Tony commanded.
Setting aside his disdain for politicians like Birds, Tony acknowledged that the S.H.I.E.L.D. and military pilots were not considered hostile. Jarvis, having shut down unnecessary functions, directed all available energy to the propulsion device, propelling Mark 10 to its maximum speed in pursuit of the F-type fighter.
After more than a minute, Tony spotted the fighter plane in the clouds ahead. Mark 10 accelerated, flying side by side with the fighter. The relief on the pilot's face was evident, knowing Iron Man was by his side.
Suddenly, a green light streaked through the sky, targeting the F-fighter. The green energy beams, extending from Cowboy 1's arms, transformed into sword-like shapes, slicing through the fighter. Cowboy 1 swooped down, stopping in front of Tony, and a blue 3D phantom of Jude appeared.
"Tony, you've finally caught up, and there's one last act. Watch closely."
Before Tony could intercede for the S.H.I.E.L.D. and military pilots, Cowboy 1's right arm transformed into a two-meter-long barrel, engraved with intricate patterns. Charging up, it unleashed a powerful green beam that obliterated the last F-type fighter.
Jude's triumphant proclamation followed, "How about that? This high-energy weapon on Cowboy 1 is quite effective."
Tony was left astonished, and as Jude gloated, Tony struggled to find words. Cowboy 1's display of firepower had taken him by surprise.
Back at Stark Tower in New York, a grand party hosted by Tony's bodyguard Happy was underway. Young models were invited, anticipating Tony Stark's presence. However, their excitement turned to shock as two armored figures descended from the sky.
Jude mocked Tony for his defeat, turning what was meant to be Tony's celebration into a victory party for Jude. Oblivious to the commotion, the models swarmed Tony for attention.
Jude, reveling in his triumph, grabbed a bottle of XO and celebrated, poking fun at Tony's loss. Tony, disheveled and defeated, begrudgingly took the bottle and consumed its contents.
In the midst of the celebration, Tony, still dazed, sought an explanation from Jude about the events in the sky.
Jude, maintaining his confident demeanor, began to enlighten Tony about the vastness of the universe and the existence of advanced civilizations beyond Earth. He asserted that their technology far surpassed Earth's and that the future would bring intergalactic conflicts to Earth. Jude concluded by asserting his superiority as the protagonist of his own story compared to Tony's role in the Marvel Universe.
Unimpressed, Tony stared at Jude, who was unfazed. As the party continued, Pepper burst in and urgently instructed everyone to leave, introducing an air of uncertainty to the already chaotic scene.
