D-Rank Missions

Sasuke hurried home since he had several things that he wanted to do. The first was to try the Shadow Clone technique, and he found himself having a hard time using it because it consumed more Chakra and all of a sudden… It was apparently fine if he could use something like all his Chakra to summon twenty clones, but summoning two of the real ones was harder.

Still, he got the hang of it eventually, and then Sasuke began to train his control over his clones. They also were harder to control the clones… making them mirror each other's moves was a bit easier, but that probably won't be a very effective way of using them.

"Baby steps…" Sasuke thought.

In the end, after twenty minutes, the clones disappeared due to exhaustion… since they consumed more stamina than the max that Sasuke had, it was only natural that such a thing would happen. Still, he didn't feel troubled by it since the other thing he wanted to do didn't require him to move his body.

"I need to check this body's memories and my real memories once more…" Sasuke thought.

After a while, Sasuke confirmed that most of his memories were fine, even the future knowledge about the events in the world… However, some information was missing. Things how to use different types of Chakra Nature and how to train with them, he was supposed to know that, but he couldn't remember anymore… it was weird since he had theoretical knowledge of other things like genjutsu, and he knew how to counter some techniques… but some things that clearly give him some crazy advantages, he had forgotten.

"I still don't know why I am here, but if I was given a system, I can't understand why sealing those memories… a system is an advantage, so taking the memories would be something to balance it out," Sasuke thought. "There is a chance that it is something that just happened by accident since two memories merged together, and I can recover them, but…"

Just thinking about it, the information that he had wasn't going to take him anywhere, so Sasuke decided to focus on his training.

The next day, the group met in front of the Hokage office, and then a tired Kakashi suddenly appeared in front of them. It looked like he spent the night awake reading his erotic book… who knows how many times he had read the same volume.

"I already told you guys, but don't cause trouble for me, okay?" Kakashi asked. "You are Gennin, and you will receive the same missions that other Gennin receive… so don't cause problems for me."

Everyone nodded, but Naruto still raised his voice and complained when they received the mission to pull the grass on a large terrain… that wasn't supposed to be the job of a Shinobi.

You received a quest: clean the terrain.

Reward: 50 training orbs.

Moreover, they only received five thousand ryo for working all morning… It was the equivalent of a part-time job on Earth. In any case, Sasuke could live half of it for an entire day. Still, he wanted more money to buy pills that would help with training…

"Military Rations Pills, also known as Hyōrōgan, are special pills that nourish the body and can replenish one's Chakra. It is made up of powerful stimulants and nutrients that are near-instantly absorbed into the in-taker's body. It is said to allow the user to keep fighting for three days and three nights without rest. At the end of the three days effect, the user is brought to the point of complete and utter exhaustion," Sasuke accessed his memories and muttered it. "Still, I should be able to find the ones that don't have such after-effects."

After training with Sakura, Sasuke walked around the hidden leaf and checked the places that were selling stuff for Shinobi. He found the weaker versions of those pills. Still, each one of them would cost ten thousand Ryo and could only recover twenty percent of his total mana… it made sense since it also worked to satiate his hunger and thirst for an entire day.

"Maybe in the future…" Sasuke thought. "Come to think of it, the third Hokage wasn't there today; only his assistants passed the job to us. He shouldn't be busy in this period of time… unless he is investigating how that information about Mizuki spread."

Obtaining information about the Hokage and his activities was way too hard, and Sasuke had better things to do as well, so he decided to forget about that.

In the next few days, team seven worked on a bunch of miscellaneous jobs that helped the hidden leaf and its citizens… walking around with dogs, capturing runaway cats, talking trash from all sorts of places… the same things that happened in the original storyline. Since those jobs only took half a day, Sasuke didn't mind doing them, and he had extra time to train, after all.

Two hours in the morning alone, three hours in the afternoon with Sakura, and two hours before dinner… that was Sasuke's training routine. Still, he felt that it was about time for some action… it was also about time for the third hokage to show up and Naruto to throw a tantrum in front of him.

Unfortunately, the third Hokage never showed up…
