"Excuse, me brother there are you lost?"

Han Jingzhi turned, his heart pounding with a mixture of anticipation and unease.

Standing before him was a figure shrouded in shadow, their face obscured by a hood.

A shiver ran down his spine, a sense of danger tingling in the air. The hooded figure removed the hood, revealing a beautiful woman capable of provoking wars between nations.

Her skin was pale and flawless, seemingly glowing in the light, a stark contrast to her black hair that cascaded like a waterfall down her back.

Her eyes were striking red, shining like two beautiful rubies.

A white one-piece dress hugged her seductive curves, clinging to her body tightly, exposing only her slender arms and long, slender legs that could make even a saint drool.

Han Jingzhi had never seen such a beautiful woman in his entire life.

She possessed not only a seductive and charming aura but also an innocent expression that seemed at odds with her body and style.

'How did she get behind me without making a single sound? I didn't even notice her presence! And secondly, what is such a beautiful woman doing here in the middle of the woods?'

Han Jingzhi was consumed by curiosity.

Snapping out of his thoughts, he asked, "Who are you exactly?"

The beautiful woman tilted her head sideways, with a puzzled expression on her face.

"What do you mean?"

"Are you a Player or an NPC?"

"Player? NPC? What are those? I'm Lilith."

"Han Jingzhi is mine," Han Jingzhi cleared his throat.

"How did Han Jingzhi manage to get in here?" she asked with a curious gaze, almost as if she'd never seen a stranger before.

"Get in here? Aren't we outside?"

She shook her head and said, "Of course... But we are inside my garden."

"Huh? Garden?"

Han Jingzhi looked stupefied.

"This forest is your garden…?"

"Yes," she nodded.

If this place, which looked like a forest, was her garden, then how big was her house?

He couldn't even begin to imagine it.

While it sounded unbelievable, it also explained why such a beautiful woman like her would appear here.

"Sorry for intruding, but I was teleported here by a little angel not knowing a thing..."

He explained, trying not to sound too crazy.

"I'll leave immediately, can you tell me the way out of here?"

But to his surprise, the beautiful woman shook her head.

"Han Jingzhi, since you're here, why don't you play a game with me?"

"A game?" Han Jingzhi asked, unsure if he'd heard her correctly.

"Yes, Han Jingzhi... Just a game?"

Han Jingzhi took two cautious steps backwards.

"Not interested," It took almost all of his willpower to say this.

But to his surprise, the beautiful woman didn't back down.

She wore a pitiful face, staring at Han Jingzhi pleadingly, making him feel helpless.

"It's been a very long time since I've seen a stranger wander here. Please, can Brother Han Jingzhi reconsider and accept Lilith's offer? It could be beneficial to you too."

Studying her expression, Han Jingzhi could tell that she was definitely telling the truth, so he gave in.

"Okay, fine... what is this game, exactly?"

On hearing Han Jingzhi's question, her eyes lit up like a million stars in an adorable way, enough to subdue even the heart of the most stone-hearted person in the world.

"Really? You will play with me?"

"Un. What do you want to play?"

"Nothing much, just if only Brother Han Jingzhi could catch me, then it'll be game over... So is Brother Han Jingzhi ready?" she asked, curving her lips into a charming smile.

"Let me get some distance... Okay, I'm ready."

Without further ado, the two began running around, playing the hard-to-catch game like younger kids, with the merry laughter of a young woman echoing throughout the forest. …

While Han Jingzhi was busy spending his time entertaining a mysterious young woman, other Players out there were busy strengthening themselves, trying to gather more information about this world.

Everybody rushed to surpass their friends and rivals in this new game that had just been released, especially those who wished to become professionals and were required to be ahead of everybody else.

Slowly, minutes soon turned to hours, and while everyone was busy grinding in their own ways, Han Jingzhi and the young woman continued to play.

'What monstrous stamina does this young woman have?! I've been running back and forth for many hours, yet there is not a drop of sweat on her face! Even her petite body was showing no sign of fatigue!'

Han Jingzhi smiled bitterly, his entire body drenched in sweat.

How could he, a young man, get worn out before a petite woman younger than his age... worse of all... His attempts to catch her all this while failed fruitlessly as whenever he get close to doing so she'd suddenly disappear and appear behind him.

Making him frustrated.

In his high school, for crying out loud he use to be an ace runner.

"What's wrong, Brother Han Jingzhi?... haha. Could it be that you're tired already?"

Lilith taunted, dealing a significant damage to his pride.

"…Never!"

Not wanting his pride hurt, Han Jingzhi stood up quickly, wiping sweat from his brows.

"Bring it on!"

Few hours later...

"Is Brother Han Jingzhi tired already?"

Lilith asked Han Jingzhi, who was huffing and panting away.

"Why... do... you... want... to... kill... me?"

Each time he uttered a word, he had to take a deep breath before being able to say the next.

Hearing his exhausting voice, Lilith giggled with a silver bell-like laughter.

"Pfft haha... Okay... Okay, take a rest then."

Han Jingzhi sat under a nearby tree, and Lilith followed, sitting beside him as he tried hard to catch his breath.

There was a deep silence between them for a while, before Lilith took the initiative to speak first.

"Where are you from, Brother Han Jingzhi?" she asked.

"Oh... That?... I'm from a distant planet called planet earth."

"Earth?"

"Yeah, that's what they call it."

Han Jingzhi smiled.

For some unknown reason, Han Jingzhi felt a sense of closeness between him and Lilith, as if he had known her or met her before in the past, or perhaps in his past life.

The feeling was mutual, as Lilith felt it too.

"Do you mind telling me a bit about your homeland?"

"Ok then..."

Han Jingzhi started to tell her things about earth... How God created it, How man developed over the centuries and their achievements.

"Woah... You mean that God you're talking about created your universe, including you?"

"Yup,"

Han Jingzhi nodded affirmatively as Lilith went silent for a while before speaking again.

"Since Brother Han Jingzhi made Lilith's day interesting... Lilith will give him a small reward!"

Lilith snapped her fingers, then an orb of light floated out of her palm straight into Han Jingzhi's.

However, before Han Jingzhi could decline, the orb of light dissolved into his palms completely.

[You have obtained a God grade item.]

"God grade item?... you... dare... call this a small reward?"

Lilith smiled gently upon hearing Han Jingzhi mumble

Shockingly, above in the sky for every Player to witness, a grand system notice appeared.

The sudden announcement shocked every onlooker, especially Players at the top.

The game had not been out for less than a day yet someone had managed to obtain a god grade item...
