SHANE'S POINT OF VIEW

"Yeah."

"And why are you going to visit me?" He seems suspicious.

"To see you. May I?"

"Of course, not. And how did you get my phone number? I do not remember myself giving it to you." I could not stop myself from raising my right eyebrow.

"May gave it to me. May I visit you now?"

"And why will you visit me?"

"Come on. I already admitted my reason."

I laughed mockingly. "That is ridiculous!" But honestly, no.

"Well then, I am going to check if you are okay."

Oh? Seriously? How fast? We only met last night. Why does he seem even worse than May when it comes to visiting me?

"Do not come. I am completely fine," I said. I hung up the phone after that.

May, such a silly woman, giving my phone number so lightly to anyone without my permission. She should prepare for I will show her my wrath.

I heard two knocks on the door.

"What is that, Miss Maid?" I got up from the bed before tying my hair.

"Miss Shane, you have a visitor."

"Who?"

"The guy who brought you home last night." Are you too, Miss Maid, that is the first thing you will answer?

Wait, what?! The guy who lifted me last night?! Why is he so persistent? We are not close.

"Please, just tell him to leave."

"Okay, Miss Shane."

I thought I was going to enjoy the silence but just two minutes later, I heard another knock on the door.

"Miss Shane, someone wants to give you this."

"Who?" I questioned with a hint of annoyance.

"The guy who brought you home last night." How troublesome.

"What is that?"

"Miss Shane, just open it."

I was forced to walk to the door and open it. Oh my?!

"Hi!" the man in front of me greeted me. I slowly looked down at the bouquet of blue flowers he was carrying.

I turned my sight back to his smiling face. I glared at him. "I did not agree to let you visit me, did I not?"

He smiled at me and laughed softly. "To give these flowers," he pointed to the bouquet.

I raised an eyebrow at him before slamming the door shut. You thought you could show off, huh?

I pressed my right ear to the wooden door to hear him leave.

"Miss Maid, please just give it to her if she does not want to accept from me," he instructed.

"Yes, Sir."

I heard him walk down the stairs. I thought I would be happy but I suddenly felt guilty. I was not able to say thank you last night and I have not received the flowers yet. I feel guilty.

I opened the door. With the loudness of the opening, he stopped and turned to me.

"Just kidding! In anyways, thank you!" I smiled at him.

"Welcome." He waved a hand at me before continuing to walk down the stairs.

"Here, Miss Shane." I stared at the maid as she handed me the bouquet of white tulips. Her cheeks were still red.

"Oh, are you sick? Why are you blushing?" I asked in all curiosity.

"Miss Shane, you like it too—"

"Oh, shut up."

I embraced the flowers and locked the door. I laid it on the bed. What did he eat for him to bring these flowers?

I took out my phone and sat on the cold floor when it sounded.

[1 new message]

"Did you like it?" was written in the message.

"What?" I replied.

"The flowers."

He threw unnecessary questions. Oh well, let me give it a go. I eyed the tulips before typing a reply. "Not bad. I like it. Happy?" Of course, that was sarcastic.

In less than a second, he sent an immediate reply. "More than that."
