SHANE'S POINT OF VIEW

"Anyway, what do you want from me? Huh? Why did you give me these?"

"So, you are curious. Okay, I will tell you. The reason is nothing."

"For fun?" I asked.

"No."

"Then, what?"

"It is not the right time for you to know."

I was even more curious because of that. Of course, who would not be curious if they could read such a message?

"Tell me. Now."

"On the right time."

Alright. Miss maid, 'if someone does not want to do something, you do not insist'. "Fine. Is this your real number?"

"Yes, it is."

"Alright." I saved his number on my contact list. I had not asked anymore but curiosity is still enveloping me.

After I took a bath and changed, I left the house and took a taxi to the bar, where my car was left.

"Sir, I stop here."

I paid first before getting off the taxi and going to the side of the road, where my white car was parked. When I reached it, I went to a halt.

I felt like someone was following me. I turned my back to see who it was. It was him. I sighed before facing his direction.

He smiled like crazy. What is his problem? I frowned slightly and raised my right eyebrow. He chuckled and approached me.

"What?" I asked, still raising an eyebrow.

"I knew it. You will come back here," he joyfully stated, like a smiling dog.

"So what now? It is a given that I have to take home my car. I cannot just leave it here. My car would not go home alone."

He frowned suddenly. "Too fierce. Are you in your period?"

I was stunned by what he said. Seriously? He is asking that to a woman like me?! "No!"

Suddenly, an idea came to my mind. Hmm, let me try that. "Maybe, you are the one," I teased but based on his facial expression, he was not affected. It looks like I would not pass if I apply for a clowning job at the comedy bar.

"I am a man if you do not know," he said but this time, he was just smiling.

"Who knows," my eyes roamed on him from head to toe before his face again, "if you are a woman." I laughed because of that.

By the way, he looked cool in his jeans and gray polo shirt. Seriously, Shane? Seriously?! Did you really notice that?

"If I am a woman, it is a pity for my handsome face." His grin widened even more. Indeed, thick-faced.

"You are also beautiful if you are a woman. Try to do crossdressing."

I smirked at him but, it also slowly disappeared when I noticed his face became serious. I do not know but I am sure there was sadness in his eyes. Gosh! Did I say something wrong?

"If I am going to be a woman, it is a waste of my time waiting for her."

"Her? Who?" I know that it was a personal thing but I could not stop myself from asking.

He smiled at me but the emotion in his eyes still did not change. He shook his head to dismiss the topic. "Never mind."
