Star Constellation cautiously walked towards the visage of her master.

"How do I know you're not a trap?" she asked, "What's the password."

Star Constellation's face beamed with joy, to the point of near tears, "Finally…after so many years it's really you…"

Star Constellation didn't directly sit across from Primordial.

Instead, she walked to the side of the table, picked up the teapot, and poured her master a cup of tea.

Then she placed the pot back down and bowed.

Primordial said nothing the whole time, took a sip of tea, "I sure would like some company tonight, my best disciple."

"Of course, master this disciple obliges," Star Constellation cupped her hands together, bowed deeper and then straightened her back, and headed for her chair.

After taking her seat, Primordial said, "Disciple I grow weary of old traditions, for tonight how about we bask in the moonlight as fellow people."

Only once Primordial finished saying that line and stood up to pour her a cup of tea, did Star Constellation relax.

"Welcome back Master."

Primordial Origin gave a small smile and shook his head, "You know how much I hate formal speech Star."

"I know." Star Constellation said in a teasing manner, "It was the only way I would know if you were truly you."

For Star Constellation, Primordial was more than just a teacher, he was a father figure in her life.

Someone that fought for her, with no desire for anything in return other than her safety.

Someone who thought her everything he knew, with no reservation, demanding nothing in return.

Someone who loved her unconditionally.

"I hope you forgive me, my disciple," Primordial sighed, "I had to keep the secret of the Dao Emperor realms as Humanity needed the Venerables."

Star Constellation patted his hand, "I know."

"You…" Primordial could only feel tenderness and affection for his disciple, "I have something for you."

Primordial held up a glowing orb, within it seemed to contain numerous stars, galaxies and worlds.

"Is that…" Star Constellation stared at it in a daze.

"Yes, it is," Primordial nodded, "It's your Dao."

The thing that had been calling Star Constellation for so long, the deep longing in her heart had never felt so fulfilled before.

"I can feel it, it's pulsating and resonating with me," Star Constellation couldn't take her gaze off the Dao in Primordial Origin's hands.

Seeing this Primordial Origin smiled, "I'd knew you'd like it."

Star Constellation blushed slightly, as she realized how her desire for the Dao had almost turned to Lust.

She could have almost started drooling over the Dao.

"But master, if I obtain a Dao Fruit now, wouldn't I be unable to interact with the world?" Star Constellation asked.

Primordial Origin nodded, "It's true that if you fully incorporate your attainments and Gu to condense a full Dao Fruit, you will have to immediately transcend the Mortal World, but I'm not giving you a full Dao Fruit, I am only giving you the attainment of supporting Paths that you're lacking in, after all, the main paths are still your Star Path and Wisdom Path."

Primordial went on to explain, "Everything that happens affects everything around it, a single flap of a butterfly's wings could result in hurricanes. Everything is connected in some way shape or form; this is already one of the cores of Investigation and Wisdom Path."

Star Constellation nodded, "With the right amount of knowledge and information, any Wisdom Path cultivator can 'deduce' the future with varying degrees of certainty, but it's not always set in stone, the tale of 3 Venerables is an excellent example of that."

Indeed, Star Constellation had always tried her best to improve her Wisdom Path further, she was number one in deductions because her thoughts were more unique and plentiful, for nearly every situation she had thoughts that specialized in solving them.

There was a special thought for nearly every occasion, and Star Constellation constantly forged more and more unique thoughts.

Don't get me wrong, she was very high up in the world when it came to obtaining information, way more than Fang Yuan, and she was number 1 at processing information.

But there was still room for improvement.

And this Dao helps in that aspect.

Primordial wanted to bow in apology to Star Constellation, but she wasn't a Wisdom Path venerable just for show, she anticipated Primordial pulling such a stunt, and bowed before he could.

"Master, it is more than enough, this disciple can never repay the debt of gratitude you have given her in this life, when this is over, this disciple would like to accompany master once more!" she cupped her fist, knelt and gave a deep kowtow.

"You you you!" Primordial held his finger up, "I thought I told you to pursue your own life, when this is all over just forget this old man."

Star Constellation smiled sweetly, "But this is my living my own life, I want to accompany master and enjoy the simple things, such as chess, go, stargazing, and tea-drinking."

Primordial chucked, "You sound like an old grandma."

Star Constellation laughed back, "Says the old grandpa."

The 2 sat in solace and enjoyed each other's company and the tea, just for a little while.

Rustling noises could be heard, followed by the sound of heavy panting.

The sound of rustling was soon replaced with rumbling, which was followed by the clamour of armour clacking together, as the foliage of leaves were stomped on.

"Keep searching he can't have made it far!" a low gravelly voice called out.

The voice received the acknowledged grunts of a few, all in a low voice.

A few feet away, hiding in a pit, a young man was lying there, bleeding.

"Shit! I was careless," the young man was running low on breath, but he stifled the urge to pant heavily and took controlled, small, breaths, to avoid getting discovered.

"It looks like I'm all out of options except for," the man took out a rock.

It was an oval-shaped rock that looked particularly unique.

These were rocks that contained Gu in them, that in the future would be attributed to Gu Gambling houses!

"I'm all out of options but I can still cling to hope…" the young man carefully opened the rock; he was not skilled but desperate times called for desperate measures.

Once the rock was opened to his surprise,

"A Gu! And it's Rank 5! HAHAHA, the Heavens have not forsaken me yet!" the young man laughed in his heart,

But the man soon realized the Gu: "Rank 5 Sleep Lurk Gu!? This…"

Sleep Lurk Gu was a unique Gu with a Unique downside.

It could allow one to conceal themselves with a level on par with a Gu 1 rank higher than itself, so a Rank 5 Sleep Lurk Gu was as good as a Rank 6 Concealment type Gu.

But the drawback was, that it would put the user into a deep sleep!

The deeper the sleep the better the concealment, but if the Gu broke while the Gu Master was asleep, the effects of the concealment would disappear, but the Gu Master would still be asleep!

It was an incredibly risky Gu.

Just then, he felt the vibrations from the footsteps of his pursuers, "Shit! I have no choice, I have to estimate the timing just right, if I sleep for too long the Gu might die and I will lose the concealment effect, if its too short the concealment might not last long enough…"

His vision turned black, but just before he passed out he could hear,

"We can't find him anywhere!"
