chapter 28 freedom

A eight foot long blue scaled serpent was imprisoned in a cage. This is a deep sea serpent, a snake that lives it's whole life in the ocean and its now my second hundred beast king. I tossed a rank 2 snake enslavement gu and it entered the deep sea serpent's soul. Before it even struggled i had already tamed it. Unlike the last time my soul is much stronger not just in quantity but in quality as well, but i could feel i was at my limit.

If i tried to enslave anymore serpents i could have a backlash or lose control over my current ones, but now with another beast king i can grow my den of snakes to almost 300. Even though I'm not rank 3 theirs strength in numbers.

In the next two hours i made sure i had prepared enough materials to leave the clan. I then prepared a bogus letter saying that a strong gu master had taken me in as his student and as a gift he is giving my father two large jars of primeval water and that drinking it while breaking through to rank 3 will instantly refill his primeval essence. I don't need no one looking for me or for my family to put a request on information about my whereabouts like they did in my last life.

With that i left the clan and gathered the rest of my den and finally left the clan. I might not be rank 3 but im still a rank 2 upper stage and with steep tea I'm basically already at the peak stage. Thanks to my den of snakes just about all the wild life stayed clear, of course i still activated aurora scent gu from time to time but i didn't encounter any problems through the whole day.

Before night i would find shelter and if i couldn't find one I'd make one and set a permitter around myself with my den. A few days went by as i my made myself towards my next destination. With aurora scent gu i avoided any dangerous beast.

After about a week of non stop traveling i finally saw my destination. Up ahead was a large looking port town, and right next to it was a large body of water with several odd looking boats at the port.

Its been a while since I've seen the ocean. Thats right the location i spawned in is eastern sea. The region thats mainly water and countless islands. This town is a port town where caravans and merchants gather, sometimes its run by clans but its usually run by merchants.

Making my way into the town i rented out a room at an in. Now with no distractions i can cultivate with out disturbance.

Time went by and i only did four things, cultivate, refine certain gu, create more dao water to sell, and lastly i look around players shop for anything good to buy.

As i was in players shop something golden caught my eye. A player had a stand with several wood path materials and at the sides of the stand were several yellow flowers.

After haggling for a price i bought them all and even requested that they get more. I don't know what this material is called but i know one thing is for sure this is not a wood path material but a luck path material.

Two more weeks went by and i made a break through in my cultivation, i had reached rank 2 peak stage. Now all i have to do is continuously make a breakthrough straight into rank 3 initial stage. With liquid gu i was able to make plenty of dao water, and after one day of effort i succeed in my break through.

My cultivation is progressing smoothly and as much as i like to continue doing so i have somethings i need to acquire.

As i was in the market in town buying materials. Many people began to panic

[???] Pirates are attacking !! Quick send reinforcements to the sea gaurds!]

Pirates attacking from the sea then that means they have a ship, and thats exactly what i need right now.

Ordering all my snakes that i had hidden to come to me. I made my way to the sea and saw three large ships attacking the port with two smaller ships destroyed.

Lets see eeny meeny miny you, i picked a ship and ran towards it.

With the use of jab gu i got there very quick. I climbed my way up to the ship and saw a group of two people fighting. One group were dressed in a light blue outfit, while the others were dressed randomly. It was very easy to see who was the merchant sea guards and who was the pirates.

Using jab gu i made my way to one of the pirates who had their backs to me. I gripped the back of his neck and before he could react i snapped his neck. The guard was surprised but was immediately attacked by two more pirates. Before i could help i felt a strong pain coming from my side. I turned see a pirate had sent a water blade attack at me, but thanks to food coat gu it didn't penetrate.

Crim[ yeah thats not gonna cut it....literally]

I then activated qi shape gu and a gaint hand appeared and headed right towards the pirate. The pirate who was shocked shot out several water blades and the hand started to get some cracks but it managed to reach him. Then by activating grip gu he turned into a bloody pulp.

Another pirate who saw what happened made his way towards me but he fell halfway through, and before he could get up he started grabbing his throat. He tried to stand but his legs wouldn't move, i then threw a dagger into his head ending him. What happened to him was no accident, my illusion serpents knocked him down and started strangling him.

Soon the pirates began to scream out in pain as most of them were now getting hit by venom. My den of snakes finally made it to the ship and i began having them attack. The pirates tried to stop my venom shooters only to be blocked by all the other snakes.

My venom shooters would attack from far while the merchant guards and my other serpents attacked up close. I didn't stay iddle either whenever their was a chance I'd throw a dagger into the pirates either killing them or injuring them enough for others to finish.

Just about all these pirates were rank 1 gu masters, only a few were rank 2 but one did stand out he must have been a higher rank 2, and he was pushing back several merchant guards back by himself. All while having his back to the sea.

Crim[ oi you dip shit whats your name!?!]

He looked my way but no more than a second as he had to focus back at the guards attacking him. Well if he doesn't want to answer i don't really need him. As he was distracted by the others a large blue serpent bit him on the neck, while two other serpents bit him on the face. In that short time frame where he was distracted by the pain the merchant guards killed him.

The whole time i had my deep sea serpent in the water awaiting the perfect chance to end him, all while two rancid vipers were attached to it. With the leader of the ship dead the majority of the pirates surrendered.

My deep sea serpent made its way to me as the guards moved out of its way. In the beginning all of them were wary of the serpents but after seeing that they were only attacking the pirates they soon realized that an enslavement path gu master was helping them.

Soon a loud horn was blown signifying that the attack had ended with the merchant guards winning. I sat down on the rail petting my snakes as a man made his way to me and bowed.

???[ thank you senior for the help, if you wouldn't mind i was reported to ask you to come see my supervisor.]
