It Might just be Myth

It is not unknown to any of us that Celestials live in heaven- The Devil and his demons in the underworlds. But do we know that the Human world is just a bridge between these two extreme realms? Yes, It is true. The light and the dark never saw eye to eye. But once in an Eon- comes an event when it becomes imminent for both Celestials and Demons to come face to face to guard 'The Book of Eternal Curse'. They have named this event "Ancient Alchemy"

The Book of Eternal Curse is special and has utmost significance in the existence of the universe. Although it is called a book, It has its soul- It was born when the first ever star formed. This ancient treasure holds tremendous power in it.

The possession of this could mean power over the universe. Thus, It was bound and hidden by the most powerful magic that exists. It ensures the book's safety from every realm. In essence- it is a rule and law book followed by all the astral and demonic beings. Following these rules ensures that every entity stays safe and the universe remains balanced.

Although this book is hidden in the human world, no one knows of its whereabouts. But there are telltale manifestations of events that happen when this book is found or gets touched. Thus once in an Eon- When the eclipse falls on the day of the Blue moon- the power of the magic fades bringing the risk of the book being discovered- on that day Celestials and Demons transform to their human form and walk the earth to watch out for signs.

This book warns of events that should not occur under any circumstances. One of those events is the mating of a stellar being and demonic spirit.

This story happened about a millennium ago. When It was time for both celestials and Demons to send their envoy to earth to watch out for manifestations.

Zexais, God of night and day- appointed his daughter Selene, Goddess of Moon (Popularly, called Moon Goddess) as the envoy to the human world to watch for signs. Meanwhile in the demon world-Ardor- The ruler of the dark couldn't trust any of his demon followers- Thus, he transformed into a human and started his journey.

In the human world, it takes a year for the ancient Alchemy to be completed. The event starts on the day of the Blue moon which also has an eclipse and ends on the full moon approximately a year later. These days, the Book remains almost unprotected and exposed to the human world.

During the period of Ancient Alchemy, the celestials and demons turn into mortals with no special powers. They rely on their human-like war ability to fight off anything that comes their way. They eat and sleep like humans and fall in love like humans too.

Then came the day that The book of the eternal curse warned about. It was the day when Selene and Ardor met in their human form and fell in love without knowing each other's true identities. As one of the laws broke- the tale tell signs came alive, Volcanoes erupted, tornados and hurricanes destroyed the land, earthquakes and tsunamis washed away lives from the face of the earth. They both had a realization that it was them who broke the laws.

Thus, They were forced to go their separate ways. But It was too late. Selene was pregnant. As a mother, she could not bring herself to kill the child with the death spell. But soon after, She delivered a baby boy. A tiny little human with greenish-yellow eyes like his father, dark curly hair- His cheeks were plump and pink like cherry blossom- so precious, so adorable. His cooing filled up her heart and the surrounding. His innocence was pure... His radiance could pull any downhearted out of their misery.

She knew she had to leave earth on the next full moon, but she couldn't breach the laws of heaven and take the newborn with her. If she did, she along with her newborn could be thrown into hellfire for eternity- and that was not the only problem, the heaven's rule says anyone born on earth can not enter heaven alive. There was no easy way out for her and her child. She wept uncontrollably. The thought of being a mother but not being able to protect her infant shredded her heart to pieces. She regretted her selfish actions and blamed herself for the miserable fate of her baby. She had to come up with a plan to keep her baby safe.

On the day of her departure, she got her powers back. She immediately prayed to heaven & chanted some spells which created two new breeds of life on earth who looked like humans however they had the power to shift to the most ferocious wolves at will.

She felt relieved and silently thanked the higher power for granting her wishes. She named them King Lycheon and Queen Isadora.

She explained her ordeal to the King and the Queen- and implored them to care for her Baby as their own. The Queen and the King happily accepted the advice from the moon goddess.

As it was time for her to leave she carried her baby one last time and placed him on queen Isadora's arm. With her heart filled with joy and pain, glee and gloom- she said "This boy will grow up to inherit the supreme qualities of A Celestial and A Demon. His grandeur will be colossal than the sun and his kindness will be larger than the largest of the seas. Thus, he will be called Adrian. Care for him as your own... protect him with your life. His powers are going to be above any celestial or demons ever possessed, never let him explore his powers- except those that will effortlessly come to him. For I am afraid that both Celestials and Demons may try to harm or exploit his powers. You must keep him off harm's way- Let the human in you love and care for him and the wolf in you protect him from every harm.'' As she finished her words tears drops rolled down her cheeks.

King Lycheon and queen Isadora kneel before the Moon goddess.. and nodded to agree on every word she said...

Moon goddess caressed baby Adrian's head one last time and walked away. King Lycheon and Queen Isadora over time settled and started their breed in a secret location on a mountain and called themselves Werewolves...

They started to pray to the moon goddess and they took really good care of Baby Adrian. A few thousand years later king Lycheon and queen Isadora had triplets- named Lucas, Salazar, and Clover. Adrian and the triplets loved each other like brothers. When they grew up Adrian was made the Alpha because He refused to take the throne out of respect for King Lycheon and the triplets became his Beta. And they lived happily ever after!

Nana finished her story with a moral 'What did we learn today? actions have consequences... and when you take actions without thinking about the future .... an 8-year-old me interrupted her before she could finish off her sentence and asked ' Are we werewolves, Nana?'

'No, why do you ask that?' Nana chuckled and raised her eyebrow in confusion.

'Because we pray to the moon goddess, I looked at Nana with a questioning look in my eyes.

'Oh No, Rain!'. She smiled and said while caressing my head "We pray to the moon goddess because she brings peace, she lights our life in darkness, she represents purity and light, love and compassion. There are hundreds and thousands of communities living on this earth who pray to different deities. The same reason why we pray to the moon goddess, We feel connected to her and she had blessed us abundantly in the past."
