10. Beware of cruel plans

Inside the study, Revan was busy playing with the ballpoint pen in his hand while daydreaming for no reason. The handsome man smiled faintly remembering what happened last night which was quite embarrassing for him. I don't know what was on his mind at that time to suddenly kiss his wife's lips without asking for permission first.

In addition to smiling, Revan also occasionally shook his head noisily and chuckled. if anyone realized that, maybe would think that Revan was having a mental problem.

"Come in!" asked Revan without turning his attention to the files he was working on.

"Excuse me, sir... My name is Irene, I'm your new assistant..." said a beautiful girl who had just entered Revan's room.

Revan raised his head to look at the girl standing in front of his desk.

"Please Sit down!" Revan said coldly.

Irene sat quietly and tried to calm herself because she was too nervous to face Revan Maheswara. She reached out her hand to give a folder containing data and also some completeness files for a job application. Previously it had been selected by Revan's staff, but this time it was Revan's turn to determine whether the girl was suitable to be his new assistant or not.

"I just don't like people who are undisciplined and also untidy. You understand what I mean, right?" asked Revan after flipping through some files belonging to the girl sitting in front of him.

"Yes, sir. I understand!" replied Irene.

"Okay, Irene... You are accepted to work here, I hope you can work well and don't disappoint me," said Revan with a faint smile.

"Okay, sir. thank you for the opportunity that you gave me, I will try my best and also work well so as not to disappoint you," said Irene firmly.

"Now you may go to your room, to the right of mine..if there is a need, then I will call you. If not, you can check some of the files that I have to sign. Do you understand?" Revan said at length.

Irene nodded vigorously with a smile widely. "I understand, sir!" She said enthusiastically.

"If there's something you don't understand, please ask me. Now you can go..." Revan ordered while handing Irene's map back.

"Okay, sir. thank you again," concluded Irene and immediately stood up leaving Revan's room feeling happy because she got a job.

While Revan is just indifferent and doesn't care. the man returned to huddle with the files in front of him and also tried to focus his mind on the work he was doing.

Instead of focusing, now his gaze turned to his cellphone which had been lying on his desk since earlier. without thinking, he immediately grabbed his cell phone and opened his chat application.

A moment later he smiled again when he saw a photo of a beautiful woman who was none other than his wife. Davina made that photo her profile photo.

"What's wrong with you? why do you like looking at these innocent women so much? Have you forgotten that you married her only to take revenge on the Arsenio family? Makes Dilan heartbroken and fails in managing his company, then takes over everything. Don't be stupid, you really can't fall in love with Davina!" Revan grumbled to himself. He put his phone back and again had to focus on his work. for a moment he took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly to give himself peace.

"Only temporarily. It doesn't take long, after everything falls into your hands, then you can leave her!" Revan said to himself.

Meanwhile, in her new room, Irene looked around her which looked very luxurious and neat. The beautiful girl walked around in her room which could be said to be quite spacious.
