CHAPTER 10 "THE SMELL OF DEATH"

"The smell of Death. How it lures me down these passages. It's intoxicates me, it excites me. I can feel it. I can taste it. This school is Hiding something. Something sinister that makes me hungry for blood. My curiosity is engaged. My fangs coil with lust for blood.

Oh.. Who ever you are that causing me to feel this way. Please don't let me down."

Drake walks further down the passage then stops next to the stairs. He hears foot steps coming from the stairs towards.

" what a familiar fragrance."

The foot steps stop and Drake looks up.

" why Hello Miss Chu"

Miss Chu was stocked to see Drake. She is hold a school book. She takes a deep breath and walks down the stairs.

"Hello Master Drake." Miss Chu says obediently. Bowing her head slightly while blushing.

'omg what's with my bad luck. Out of all the people I could walk bump into. It just had to be him.' Miss Chu though while having slit flash backs of last night in her mind.

" Master why are you here instead of watching the tournament?" She asked.

"I am your Master. You don't question me about feeble things."

Miss Chu felt a bit frightened but holds her ground. Drake then looks a at the book she is holding in her arms.

"Miss Chu. This book. Is it yours?" He asked curiously. Miss Chu looked at the book and wonder why would he be interested in it.

"it not mine, I found it lying outside the classroom that I've been working in. I found it strange tho." She said

"what's so strange about?" he asked, holding his hand out to receive the book. Miss Chu calmly hands it him with hesitation.

"before I found it. I swear I heard and felt someone's presence. But when I opened the door. No one was there." Drake hearing this remember principle Lee asking a student to Call Miss Chu. Drake's eye glowed red and through his eye he could she two different colour essence. One black and the other pink.

'that it. That the disgusting smell I've been looking for.' Drake though, handing the book back to her. With Drake's eye and sense of smell. He could see and trace the two essence heading down the stairs. Drake walks closer to Miss Chu and holds her chin. Her cheeks turn red as he looks closer to her.

"Miss Chu. It time to follow your Master." He whispered in her ear. She could not say no nor could she push him away. She agrees and the two walk down the stair.

Detective Jane was busy interviewing a female student that was one of the missing girls friends.

" so can you tell me if she was acting any way out of the ordinary?"

"uhm..i can't say ever since she hand an accent a few years back she's been seeing a therapist. "the student said but detective could tell that she was hiding something.

" what kind of accident? Because my report said that she was never in one."

The student got more nervous and steps back. A female teacher comes along.

" hello office may I ask what are you doing?" she asked while comforting the student.

"no worries mame. I'm just asking about her friend that had gone missing."

The teacher and figured out who she was asking about after a few moments of thought.

"oh I remember her. I'm feel sad about her. She was a straight A student then one day she started skipping classes. Luckily she never skipped mine."

Detective Jane looked at the student and could tell that she was either hiding something or she suspects something.

" can you tell when she started to skip class? "

The teacher began to go deep in thought.

" oh it was around last year. I think around March. If that is all I would like me and the students to attend the tournament."

Detective Jane agreed, the teach and student left.

Detective Jane the takes out her phone to call the NSPD. The call goes though to a man working on a computer. He eating chips while going thought case files. He picks up the call without looking at the caller I.D

"hello..This is Chad Won."

"hey Chad. It's Jane. I need your hell."

As soon as he heard it was Jane he nerd choked.

"fuck no.. I can't help you. Every time I do you nearly get me fired."

"come on Chad.. A little girl is missing."

"no I can not help you."

Jane smiled as he was know to use any tactic to manipulate people to get what she wants.

"Chad.. How can you say that? Don't you have a little sister. If it was her that's missing I would every thing I can to save. But I guess you won't." Chad felt that as he loves his little sister. He looks at the picture of the on his desk and begins to sigh.

" fine.. What do you want?"

"I need you to check if any of the missing student parents statements. Check if the timeline of the kids having strange behaviour starting last year. Like skipping school or so."

"how is this going to help the kids."

"I need to find a connection between their behaviour and this school."

Chad begging to go through the statement of the monitors.

"alright I'll call you as soon as I can." He then hangs up the phone without notice. Detective Jane looks around and for her partner and see him flirting with one of the parents.

'why do I have to put up with this scumbag.' She ask herself. Knowing full well that he would be of no help she left and headed back to the tournament to find principle Lee.

Principle Lee had just got on stage to make the next announcement.

"ladies and gentlemen, now the next match will start. It will be Amy Vs Moxy Bi."

Moxy Bi as you would guess is Ryan Bi's younger sister. She as well a bully to all female students. She also has won many championship for kendo and always brags on how she always defeated Amy in kendo class. What she doesn't know is for Amy to keep her power a low profile. She had to intentionally lose every match. She has long red hair in a ponytail. She very pretty with a fierce look on her face.

As Principle Lee got off Detective Jane confronted him.

"good day principle Lee. My name is Detective Jane. I work for the NSPD and would like to ask you a few questions. She said politely bowing her head.

" please officer it's my pleasure to meet you acquaintance. How may I help you?" he asked while stroking his beard.

"I'm here investigating the missing girls that have come from your school. In the last 2 years there have been six missing girls."

Principle Lee's smile dropped as he heard this.

"I'm sorry officer I have tried to investigate my self. All I can say is that they were all good students that changed drastically and I can't say how or what made them change."

"do you maybe have any idea what that all have in common? Please even if it's small information in can help a lote." Detective Jane pleased. Principal Lee gave good thought and waited a few moments.

At that moment Amy and Moxy stepped in the ring. Principle Lee looked at Amy and said.

" I think I know someone who can help but let me watch my Adopted Child have her first match. Detective Jane agrees. All the while they were talking, Michael watching and listening because he knows that Detective Jane was also investigating the Akuma Duo.

" hey you bitch! You think you and you're piece of shit brother can get away with what you did to my brother." Moxy draws her sword and points it at Amy.

"I'll make you pay you bitch!!"

(crowd chatting)

"how unfortunate Moxy's cultivation is already higher than Ryan."

"I heard Amy lost to her consecutively. There is now way she's going to win."

Amy stared at Moxy with no care for her words. Her arms where folded. She did not take out her swords because she felt it was unnecessary.

"would you just shut up and fight already." Amy said. Moxy felt her disrespected by the and started running towards Amy. While running Moxy disappeared in the middle of the ring.

(sword water style 3rd form/water erosion)

Moxy came from behind Amy. As she swung her sword water emitted water. The water looked as if it was made out of an painting.

"this erosion form can cut though boulders." Moxy said attempting to behead Amy but Amy did not move or showed fear.

"now die you bit…" to her surprise Amy stopped her move with one finger. With out moving from where she stood. Moxy used her speed to disappear again, then appeared a few feet in front of Amy.

Moxy now Furious ran in again. She gave several attacks but Amy kept blocking it over and over again. Moxy moved even faster but could not land a scratch on Amy.

(crowed Chatting)

"what's going on. She can't even touch Amy."

"first Michael now Amy."

"were they always hiding how strong they were?"

"holy shit I use to insult them both but now I should apologize."

Moxy kept struggling attacking harder and faster but it is futile.

'what's going on. It's like she's not the same person anymore.' Moxy thought. She jumps back and jumps high in the air.

(sword water style 4th form/descending cycle)

This move Moxy spun with great speed. This created a water like cycle and descending upon Amy. Amy grind and unsheathed her sword. Amy then for Moxy and attacks her with no sword style of any kind. Amy is unharmed and Moxy crashes to the ground. Lying on the ground unconscious and her sword shattered. Amy sheaths her sword and walks away.

"Moxy is unable to continue thr winner is Amy"

Everyone was in shocked as they could not understand how Moxy lost to one move. The medical team come on stage to take Moxy out.

"what the fuck is going on!" coach said out loud.

"what the hell is wrong with you students…I don't have a choice" Mr. Kai said while taking out a orange pill from his pocket.

Detective Jane was stunned by Amy's Display of skill and Principle Lee lough with pride.

"that's my girl" he said and then turned to Detective Jane.

"about the information you asked. I can only say that all the girls had one thing on common. Now that I think about it its quite suspicious"

Detective Jane looked at him with hope in her eyes.

"they all seemed to skip Mr. June. If you can maybe find out by him if he has any information that can help your case."

At that moment Detective Jane got a phone call. It was Chad with an update.

"hey Jane…about the case. It seems all the girls in the school all started to miss behave around two years ago but no statement of an accident between any of them" he said whille checking the information on his computer.

"I want to ask you if you have any information about on of the teachers at this school his name is Mr. June." She asked

Chad typed and search on his computer and after a few minutes he gave her an answer.

"Mr. Joe Jane. It seems that he joined the school 2 years ago."

"I have to question him now." She said but before she could hang up chad had found some crucial information.

"wait Jane… I'm looking at his info and his status are only 2 and half years old. So I check his facial recognition and found out his real name is Adam Woe. He has record of sexual harassment, rape, domestic violence and the list goes on and on." Detective Jane hangs up on Chad and turns to Principle Lee.

"oh my god… Principle Lee where is Mr. June?" she asked with haste in her voice.

"I had seen him earlier but not for a while." He said. A student interrupted the Detective. She noticed it was the student she questioned before.

"I'm sorry mame but I can't keep lying to you. Mr. Jane always took my friend the boiler room but every time I follow then the disappear." She said with sadness in her eye. Detective Jane was no convinced that Mr June is now a suspect and turns to the principle.

"I'd like you to act normal and keep the match's going. I don't want to alarm him if he is guilty."

Principle Lee aggress and Detective Jane run off in search for Mr. June.

Drake and Miss Chu are inside the boiler room. Drake is looking at a clear wall.

"Master Drake.. What so interesting about this wall?" Miss Chu asks

"Miss I need you to trust me and walk into this wall." Drake asked. Miss Chu is hesitant but can not refuse. She walk into the wall with her eyes closed but when opens them. She finds herself on the roof of the school.

"what's going on here. How am I on the roof?" she said speaking out loud.

"it's a displacement array.. Witch means there is someone that doesn't want us in the basement." Drake said appear close behind Miss Chu blushed and quickly made distance between her and him. Feeling embarrassed, she quickly regain composer and asked

"Master Drake what do you think is going on?"

"who knows.. But I smell death coming from the boiler room and today….i feel thirsty"

Drake smile, with a feeling that he hasn't felt in a long time. Hunger…..
