Returning From Hell After Hundreds Of Years

Lycaon Oberon woke up in his room on a seemingly normal day. However, he couldn't find his family anywhere in the house, his phone had no wifi or signal, and the electricity in his house was not working either. He went outside to see what was going on, only to find that there were no signs of any people in the houses on his street. Not only that, but all the houses were in a state of ruin, and the sky was red. After standing outside for around five minutes, Lycaon saw something that he thought was a human digging through his neighbours bin, until he noticed the green skin. As soon as he noticed this, a screen appeared in front of him.

*Two Years Later*

Lycaon stood atop a mountain with his sword in hand ready to fight the last Boss monster in Wales. He had actually found Wales relatively easy, as he became stronger over time much quicker than he had before due to his Growth Increase skill. In total he had only died three times in Wales which was a huge improvement from England.

*Flashback Of Last Two Years*

The reason Wales was quite easy for him was the new types of monsters that had appeared. These monsters were completely dissimilar to the ones in England which stopped appearing once he had cleared the entire country. It seemed as though once a country had been cleaned, the monsters that had appeared there would no longer exist.

The monsters that Lycaon encountered in Wales were mostly electric based which was not good against his sword which had gained the earth element.

The first creature he encountered was a small sprite like creature that tended to gather in groups of at least ten. They had the ability to swarm their enemy and shoot out small lightning bolts and, when they died, they could also self destruct and cause an explosion of lightning bolts for around a metre around them. Lycaon called these monsters 'Lightning Pixies'.

The second creature he found was a grey dog with two heads that was about as large as a motor bike. It had electrical sparks shooting off of its tail at all times, with the same going for its teeth and claws. These creatures could only use their electric powers through physical attacks, but they were more powerful than the lightning pixies. These monsters were named 'Lightning Hell-Hound's'.

The third type of monster he found was the first flying creature he had encountered which made it more dangerous than most monsters he had fought beforehand. However, it was from an area Boss in the form of one of these creatures, which he had found a year into his cleansing of Wales, that he obtained his seventh skill. Out of the skills he had obtained so far, this was definitely one that most people dreamed about. After finding a glowing green skill ball, he was offered the skill 'Flight' to which he immediately accepted. As the skills rank increased, he would be able to fly at faster speeds which was good, but more importantly, he was able to fly indefinitely even from the Basic rank. The monster that had given him this skill was named the 'Thunder Bird' by Lycaon.

The fourth, and final, type of monster he encountered in Wales was definitely the most powerful creature he had met so far. It was a huge cyclops creature about the size of the 'Bigger One', except it could shoot lasers from its eyes, and it wielded a sword with electric properties. This monster was not only very bulky and defensive, but also had immense offensive abilities as well. Lycaon found that the easiest way to kill it was flying up to its head and stabbing its eye and then ripping it out. Lycaon simply named the monster 'Cyclops'.

*End Of Flashback*

With a smile on his face at the thought of clearing another country, Lycaon shouted as loud as possible to attract the monsters in the final zone. Unlike what he thought would have happened, monsters did not start to swarm him, instead the mountain beneath him started to move.

It took him a little bit of effort to stay stood on the moving mountain, but eventually it became stable again as the Boss monster, or what Lycaon assumed to be the Boss monster, fully extended its body.

Lycaon flew off of the monster, and hovered in front of it to get a good view of the creature. It was very clearly a ginormous tortoise like monster. It was carrying an entire mountain on its back, and was by far the biggest monster he had encountered. This was named the 'Mountain'.

It did not seem to want to attack Lycaon at all, and instead just looked around. The monster had no signs of having powers related to electricity, as it seemed more likely that it would have earth based powers.

As the monster was not attacking Lycaon, he flew as fast as possible with his sword in hand directly at the creatures head. Once he reached it, he attempted to slice at it with as much force as possible, but this did nothing more than anger the monster as it released its first attack.

It opened its mouth, and a huge yellow ball started to form inside of it which was then shot out at incredible speed towards Lycaon which he luckily dodged. Once he witnessed this, he realised why the monster was in an area where everything else was electric based.

As he did not want to be on the receiving end of one of the monster's attacks, Lycaon tried a new strategy. He flew inside of the creature's shell to attack its inside. The inside of the monster was disgusting, as the flesh inside was covered in mould and seemed to be diseased.

Lycaon was confused as to how the monster was even alive with all of the illness that seemed to be infecting it, until he saw something interesting. Despite the flesh of the monster being rotten and disgusting, there was a bright yellow core-like thing which was sending yellow streaks of energy to every part of the monster.

Lycaon assumed this was what kept the monster alive and was the main source of life for it. He thought that if he destroyed it then the monster would more than likely die. He initially attempted to destroy the core with his sword, but all of his attacks seemed to pass straight through it.

Once he realised this, Lycaon tried the only other method he could think of. He created a barrier around the monster's core, this caused the flow of energy to stop as it could not penetrate the barrier which was now at Intermediate rank.

After around ten minutes of this, Lycaon could feel the monster's body shaking uncontrollably before becoming limp as well as seeing the light from the core completely disappearing.

Once the monster was dead, a blue skill ball was in the place of the monster's previous core.

Accept / Deny.'

Lycaon thought to himself, 'Although this might not seem too good because I revive when I die, it means I can heal King. I also don't know what state Earth will be in when I finally return home, so this could be helpful.'

He clicked Accept, and immediately gained the new skill. Lycaon left the inside of the Boss monster and, as soon as he got outside, summoned King. During his time of having him around, Lycaon had realised that King got enjoyment from eating monsters that were both dead and alive.

He allowed King to consume the corpse of the Boss monster which did not take too long, as once King had evolved from a Child to a Teen, his size had tripled from his child form.

Once King had finished eating, Lycaon unsummoned him and thought to himself about his next plan, 'Well, I guess the next thing to do would be clearing Scotland and then moving onto the rest of Europe. Time to get going, but first I should check my stats.'
