Returning From Hell After Hundreds Of Years

Lycaon Oberon woke up in his room on a seemingly normal day. However, he couldn't find his family anywhere in the house, his phone had no wifi or signal, and the electricity in his house was not working either. He went outside to see what was going on, only to find that there were no signs of any people in the houses on his street. Not only that, but all the houses were in a state of ruin, and the sky was red. After standing outside for around five minutes, Lycaon saw something that he thought was a human digging through his neighbours bin, until he noticed the green skin. As soon as he noticed this, a screen appeared in front of him.

Sword Element And Star

After looking at his status, Lycaon realised that multiple of his skills had become the next rank, and his Conjure Sword skill had a new feature of some sort which he immediately decided to check.

"Conjured Sword."

Lycaon summoned his sword which looked the exact same as before, except it now had a glowing area in the centre. Lycaon did the only thing he could think of, and he touched the part of his sword that was glowing. As soon as he did this, he felt his consciousness leave his body.

However, almost immediately, he found himself in a pitch black area. He could not see his body and assumed he was in a soul form or something similar.

Out of the black abyss, multiple different wisp like entities appeared. They were all different colours and different sizes. They all had one thing in common though, every one of them seemed to be observing him.

After what seemed like an eternity, one of the wisps shot forward at Lycaon and he woke back up in his real body. When he looked down at his sword again, its form had changed. Although it was still the same shape and size, the previous black colour had become a deep brown with the same white engravings.

He checked his status to see what had changed.

'Looks like my sword gained the Earth element. Hopefully this makes it stronger than before.'

Lycaon had finished checking his status, and planned to make his way to Wales to clean his second country, but this was interrupted by something he had not seen before.

In front of his face was a shining green box that had no features or limbs. A message appeared in front of his face.

'The Star Of Endless Growth Is Showing Interest In You. The Star Of Endless Growth Would Like To Become Your Sponsor Before Any Other Stars Realise Your Potential. If You Accept The Star Of Endless Growth As Your Sponsor, It Will Grant You A Powerful Skill Immediately, This Skill Can Not Be Denied. However It Will Also Grant You An Additional Skill For Every 100 Levels You Gain, These Skills Can Be Denied And Will Take Up A Skill Slot. Accept / Deny.'

This was a new thing for Lycaon to see, and he contemplated whether or not he should accept. The Star Of Endless Growth did not want him to comply with any insane demands, nor did it offer him anything unreasonably small in return for allowing it to sponsor him. Due to this, he nodded his head and pressed Accept.

As soon as he did this, he felt a new power enter his body and the star disappeared. He wanted to see what skill the The Star Of Endless Growth had given him.
