Restart, Spider-Man!

First-generation Spider-Man: "With great power comes great responsibility." Second-generation Spider-Man: "Heroes are always lonely." Third-generation Spider-Man: "My father is Iron Man!" Spider-Man from a certain universe: "This life is ruined again, restart! Restart!" Xia Luo crossed into the Marvel multiverse and luckily became the Spider-Man of this universe. But he also had a lot of misfortune. He didn’t have the super strength of the first-generation Spider-Man, who could stop a speeding train. He didn’t have the second-generation Spider-Man’s lightning-fast reflexes. And he didn’t have the third-generation Spider-Man’s high-tech nanotech suit. In every attribute, he was far inferior to the other Spider-Men from different universes, yet the villains in this world were absurdly strong. He couldn’t beat them, no way he could! Fortunately, as long as he acted recklessly and died, he could start a resurrection match in the Marvel universe. If he successfully won the resurrection match, he would be revived and receive various rewards. In one such resurrection match, as he looked at the blackened Superman with the same red and blue color scheme in front of him, Xia Luo fell into deep thought. “This peak match, I can’t win it, I really can’t!” "Restart! Restart! I need to restart this resurrection match!" --- Alternate titles for the book: "Go Reckless, Spider-Man!" Restart, Spider-Man! [60]

Outskirts of New York.

Boom!

On a quiet, deserted road at night, a long line of a dozen cars drove into the forest, shattering the stillness of the night.

In the lead SUV, Nick Fury watched the red dots displayed on the computer screen.

"These strange objects, are we sure their destination is here?"

Natasha nodded. "Absolutely. These things didn't just show up at S.H.I.E.L.D.; there have been sightings across the globe. But satellite tracking has only managed to consistently capture the few that appeared in New York."

"Their speed doesn't seem that fast. Why couldn't the satellites track the others?" Fury asked, puzzled.

Natasha tapped on the computer and replied, "Although they're not fast, they keep disappearing from satellite tracking, vanishing into thin air and reappearing on the other side of the planet. It's very strange."

"And just moments ago, we discovered similar targets around here. We tracked their movement patterns and confirmed that this is where they're heading," Coulson explained.

Fury frowned as he watched the blurry images from the satellite.

"Disappearing body parts... what's the mechanism behind their movements? Is it near-light-speed travel? No, if it were, the satellites wouldn't have picked them up in the first place."

"Hey, Commander, I think it might be some kind of space teleportation."

Above the car, a streak of green light flashed by. Harry, now suited up for combat, patrolled the area on his flying glider. Tapping his earpiece, he said, "Besides that explanation, I don't see how else it could be happening."

Fury thought about it. "That's a possibility. They're appearing here almost simultaneously, which suggests precise calculations."

"I found them!"

At that moment, Harry shouted, and the cars screeched to a halt.

Soon after, a large group of agents swarmed into the forest, surrounding a hole that Harry had found.

"This is the last place they were seen."

The ground before them was covered with small holes, from which thick white smoke slowly spread, quickly shrouding the nearby trees in a fog.

Harry landed on the ground and sniffed the air.

"It smells like burning."

"It's gunpowder," Natasha confirmed.

Fury frowned. "Natasha's right. There could be an underground weapons cache."

"Check the area for any other entrances," he ordered, and the agents immediately spread out.

"Wait."

Suddenly, Harry seemed to sense something. He crouched down, pressing his ear to the ground, his expression growing more serious.

"There's something down there... getting louder. It sounds like—"

His face changed dramatically in an instant.

"Scatter!"

Without hesitation, Harry jumped on his glider and shot into the night sky.

Seeing this, Fury and the others quickly turned and sprinted away.

Boom! Boom!

In an instant, flames burst from the countless holes, followed by a terrifying explosion that obliterated the surrounding forest.

Raging fire shot up into the sky, consuming large swaths of trees. The clouds above took on a strange, eerie red hue, as if stained with blood.

"That was close."

"What just happened down there?"

Half-buried under dirt, Fury rolled over, breathing heavily, his forehead drenched in sweat. He had clearly been rattled.

Getting up and brushing the dirt off his clothes, he looked up at the sky, now tinted an unnatural red.

"An explosion like that shouldn't be affecting the clouds," he muttered, puzzled.

Natasha climbed up a nearby hill and squinted at the sky. "It's not just red. It looks like... blood."

Coulson, covered in dirt and dust, approached them. "Commander, we found something. Among the debris from the explosion, there are Hydra symbols."

"So it is Hydra."

Fury gritted his teeth. "Harry, take Barton and go investigate—"

Before he could finish, Harry interrupted.

"Sorry, but it's way too dangerous down there. I like living."

Fury: "..."

Bang!

At that moment, a deep metallic clang rang out from the center of the explosion. A powerful shockwave blasted through the wreckage, briefly suppressing the flames.

In that instant, whether it was Fury and his team or Harry in the sky, they all gasped in shock as they recognized the figure at the center of the explosion.

"Steve!"

"Captain!"

"How could it be him..."

On the scorched earth, a battered Steve Rogers was kneeling, struggling to hold up his shield. His face, smudged with soot and grime, was filled with exhaustion.

In front of him stood a tall, muscular figure with purple skin, emanating an overwhelming sense of pressure. The creature's iron-like muscles and black veins beneath its purple skin made it a truly terrifying sight.

The next second, as the purple fist slowly moved away from Steve's shield, the captain managed to catch his breath.

But before he could recover, the purple fist came barreling back, with even more force.

"What?"

Steve barely had time to raise his shield before the massive hand gripped its edge and threw both him and the shield against a charred tree trunk.

Crack, crack, crack!

Bang!

Steve crashed through several trees before finally stopping.

"Steve, are you okay?"

Fury and the others rushed to his side.

Under the broken trees, Steve wiped the blood from his mouth and stood up, taking a deep breath.

"I'm fine. Be careful, though. This guy is tough."

"What are you doing here?" Natasha asked, surprised.

Steve's expression didn't change. "Someone led me here."

"What is this place?" Coulson asked, quickly mobilizing the nearby agents.

Steve's gaze darkened. "It's a Hydra secret base."

Fury's eyes shifted to the massive purple figure, his expression grim. "So, is this Hydra's secret weapon?"

With his Titan physique, Xia Luo's appearance had changed completely, making it impossible for anyone to associate him with a human from Earth.

Steve shook out his sore hand. "Yes. He's Hydra's leader."

"What?"

"The leader?"

Fury and the others were stunned, while Xia Luo's face twitched slightly.

No wonder the Hydra Captain was so good at deception. He could lie without giving away any clues. Combined with his handsome, trustworthy appearance, he exuded an aura of righteousness.

Too righteous.

But Xia Luo was different.

Now, he looked like a classic evil alien, someone who, at first glance, seemed like the perfect villain.

But as the Titan physique merged deeper with his Spider-Man physiology, Xia Luo's purple form began to shrink, returning to a more human size. His purple skin also began to fade quickly.

Noticing the change, Xia Luo tapped his chest, and the red-and-blue nanometal instantly covered his body, preventing anyone from seeing his face.

"What?!"

"It's Spider-Man!"

Everyone gasped, and Steve's heart sank.

It seemed his lie was about to be exposed.
