Executioner's Dagger

The Executioner's Dagger is a dagger, as its name suggests, made to be held by executioner for emergency cases.

The original use was when an executioner was to execute in front of a large crowd and in the presence of the king, he would be given three items: Executioner's Mask to hide his identity, Executioner's Axe for a formal execution, and Executioner's Dagger for when the to be executed escapes or becomes a threat for the crowd and king.

The Executioner's Dagger has a couple abilities that combined becomes a very dangerous weapon that even a baby can kill the strongest man with a bit of effort.

Obviously, there are exceptions. I survived a strike from it without dying, though, all injuries I got prior was supposed to heal perfectly, the Executioner's Dagger left a large scar diagonal across my chest.

To get an idea, here is the power of the Executioner's Dagger:

Slice of penetrability: Any living creature sliced by this weapon will be sliced cleanly without resistance. Nothing living can stop it or block it.

Slice of execution: Any living creature sliced by this weapon dies immediately. If attacker is weaker than target by a large margin, a longer or other slices may be needed for death to take effect.

Executed slice: If the weapon goes against inanimate objects, the weapon will not cut or even leave a dent. In exchange, anything animate will be given the effects of above abilities. (Meaning golems or moving puppets, while not alive, will still be executed.)

I looked around the ground where my house use to be looking for a shirt.

'Seems all my clothes were obliterated.'

Suddenly I looked behind and saw a smaller portal, and coming out: Reivion, Elissa, and Elizabeth.

Reivion looked at me, then my chest, then back at me.

"Nice scar, thought you were impenetrable."

I looked back at him with an emotionless face.

"There are always exceptions."

"I see, well, it is time to say goodbye to these portals."

"Are you going to close them? They will come back."

"They will, but they teleported here instead of traveling, meaning they are still far away giving us time to prepare."

Reivion looked up and stretched one hand towards the portal.

"Vanish."

The portal fluctuated and started closing slowly.

"UGH!?"

Reivion almost fell but got back up.

"Father! What happened? Is it too much?"

He started straining to close the portal and blood escaped through his nose and eyes.

"I-It is not one portal; it is a dozen of them s-scattered across the world. UGH! I need to close them all at the same time or they will duplicate. GAHHHHHHH!!"

More blood was seeping out through his ears and mouth now, but he didn't stop.

Just when the portal was about to close, the entrance got stretched out by a large pillar larger than average skyscrapers that was black with dark blue inscriptions all around it.

After it came out, it fell and crashed above where the school use to be.

The portal finally closed and Reivion fell to his knees gasping for air.

"Hah, hah, hah, hah... these pillars... each portal threw out one of these pillars... I... I don't know what they are for... maybe... to retry teleporting here."

Elizabeth walked towards him and helped him stand up; Elissa also helped.

"Then what do we do?" Elizabeth asked.

"We must destroy them." Reivion responded.

He then looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Don't worry. I won't interfere. I will aid when necessary. I got other things to do."

I said while looking towards the horizon far away. A man stood at my vision who started sweating profusely when I saw him.

"A reunion with a childhood acquaintance."

???'s POV

"Boss, we found him."

A man who walked into a large office with a large window behind showing the whole city.

"Really? How do you know it is him?"

"He has a large scar across his chest just like you said."

The person the man was talking to smiled and stood up and walked towards the window behind.

"Which one was it?"

"There are 11 clones and one original excluding the most recent clone by the name Reivion."

"Two clones in Japan are just training decoys because they only hunt monsters all day. The one clone in Russia is a backup decoy because he gains tremendous power in the government, but he stays still in one area. Four clones in Canada and Mexico respectively are collecting valuable resources that has been recently found and sending them to the other clones."

"Finally, the teacher. He has no purpose, could be a red herring, but it's too obvious, plus, no other clone has a scar on their chest. Seems like he can't clone injuries."

"What do we do now that we found him Ms- I mean boss?"

She turned around and looked at the man with the same smile.

In her hand was a dagger inside its scabbard.

"It is time to return what I owe."
