Lily's POV
I got to the company and was allowed into her floor after a series of questioning at the security station.
I was waiting in front of her office after knocking a couple of times with no response from within.
"Lily?" I heard a masculine voice behind and even without turning around I already knew who it was.
Gosh, no!.
"I'm here to see Anna" I replied.
Anna is not here, she went out a while ago. You can sit and sit and wait for her to be back soon, " he replied and gestured towards the office.
No, I don't think I need to do that. Anna called me a while ago but her words were incomprehensible. She had called for about five times and we were unable to talk properly, so I thought to come here since I'm not far anyways" I try to explain while avoiding his gaze.
He seems to have forgotten about what happened and I'm the only one struggling with feeling embarrassed about the whole ordeal.
