Chapter 13 Big Sister

Azrael's body grew very quickly. He was only three months old but his body was the same size as a 1-year-old. Maybe it was because he had already completed the Body Tempering stage in the womb. He wanted to break through to the Mana Condensation stage but something inside told him that he should cultivate his soul first. This was not the first time he had an intuition like this, but this time it was countless times stronger. He felt like he could use this ability actively when his soul got stronger. He sat cross-legged in his room and remembered the Nihility Integration Method and started pondering on Nothingness. He thought about what was Nothingness, and how it affected everything around it. While doing so he saw his soul. He also noticed a black substance surrounding his soul. He discovered that it was the aura of Nothingness that his soul had fused with. As he started to visualize Nothingness, the black substance completely covered his soul and started to erase the impurities within it. The process was very painful but he had a high pain tolerance. When the pain got too much he stopped operating the technique. He realized that he had to rest and allow his soul to heal before he cultivated it again.

1 Year Later,

Azrael looked like a 4-year-old. He had completed the Soul Tempering Stage. He took a break and decided to visit his grandfather. He went down the Essence Peak and told his driver to take him to the Sect Master's Peak. He also messaged his grandfather that he was coming to meet him. This world was really advanced in terms of technology if compared to Earth. The biggest difference was that they used Mana instead of electricity. Lionel was watching two Outer Disciples sparring when he received the message. They were both Body Tempering stage cultivators. This was a hobby of Lionel's, disguising himself and looking for hidden talents in the Sect. He messaged back that Azrael should also join him so that they could spend some time together. His real motive was to train Azrael in combat. He knew Azrael had already completed the Body Tempering stage but he was a bit introverted and liked holing up in his room. Lionel clearly did not know about Azrael's soul cultivation.

When Azrael arrived at the sparring grounds of the Outer Sect, he attracted a lot of attention. Firstly, it was almost impossible to see a child so young on the sparring grounds. Most of the people there were already 10 years old. Secondly, his cultivation. To others, he looked like a 4-year-old child but he was already at the peak of the Body Tempering stage. And finally, his looks. He was very cute and his looks aroused goodwill in others. A cute girl that looked around 8-10 years old walked up to him and said "Little brother, what are you doing here? Are you looking for somebody or did you get lost?" She didn't know why, but this little boy looked familiar. She was the daughter of the youngest Inner Elder. He was very talented and had high hopes of being promoted to a Core Elder. Azrael replied, "Big sister, I'm looking for my grandfather. Have you seen him?" The girl didn't know who he was talking about but decided to help him look for his grandfather. "Can you describe your grandfather so I can help you find him?" Azrael nodded and answered, "He is very muscular and has tanned skin. He also doesn't look old enough to be a grandfather" The girl shaked her head. Almost 50% of men in the Immortal Battle God Sect matched this description. She again asked, "What is his name?" Azrael answered, "Lionel Rex, my grandfather's name is Lionel Rex." The girl felt as if lightning had struck her. Lionel Rex was the name of the Sect Master. But that would mean that this boy in front of her was the famous Azrael Primis Rex. She got a bit confused, wasn't he supposed to be just 1.5 years old? Why did the boy in front of her look like a 4-year-old? Azrael noticed her constant change in facial expressions and asked her "Big sis, is there something wrong?" She had to confirm her guess so she replied "No nothing's wrong but tell me something, is your name Azrael Primis Rex?" Azrael said in a curious tone "Eh, big sis knows who I am? Have we met before?" Then he answered his question himself "No, I would definitely remember the pretty big sis if we had met before, so how does she know me?" Azrael spent most of his training and still didn't know how famous he had become on Aurora Star. While they were talking Lionel had already appeared near them. He suddenly picked up Azrael shocking him and the girl. Then he started tickling Azrael with one of his hands. Azrael started giggling and said, "Grandpa, stop it. Where were you, I couldn't find you. And you're scaring big sis." Lionel looked at the girl and said "Aren't you the daughter of Elder Malcolm, Lily?" Lily was shocked that the Sect Master knew her name. She came out of her shock and hurriedly said "Greetings to the Sect Master. Replying to Senior's question, this junior is indeed Elder Malcolm's daughter." Lionel smiled after seeing Lily get so nervous. He gently said "Leave the senior and junior, you can also call me Grandpa. Now tell me how old are you?" Lily replied "Replying to Senior's..." she was about to continue but Lionel stared at her. She realized what she had done and corrected herself, "I will turn 6 years old this year...Grandpa" Lionel smiled with satisfaction and asked her once again "I can see that you are already at the peak stage of Body Tempering realm. Have you decided your future cultivation path?" He was curious about this talented little girl. Lily's expression turned resolute as she said "I have. I want to be Pseudo Paragon just like you, Grandpa." This time Lionel was really shocked. He could see the ambition in her eyes, the same one his younger self had. He looked at her and said "Little girl the path that you want to take will not be an easy one. Are you sure you want to tread this path because once you start, there is no going back?" Lily answered without hesitation "I do. No matter the difficulties, I will become a Psuedo Paragon." "Then would you like to become my disciple? You will be my fourth disciple." Lionel offered. Lily was again shocked and answered while kowtowing "Master!" and asked him about her senior siblings. Lionel nodded and said "Your Eldest Senior Sister and Second Brother have already ascended. Your Third Senior Brother is the Peak Master of the Essence Peak and this little brat's father. All of them are Pseudo Paragons." If somebody from the Immortal Realms heard that a single person had raised three Pseudo Paragons they would never believe it.

Just like this two years passed.
