They Pay

As soon as I got out of the shower, Mei Lin walked through the door and threw a bag

at me.

"What's this?" I asked as I peeked inside the bag.

She looked at me and smiled as she flitted to the bathroom.

"Just a little gifts for my pretty girl that I bought for you to wear tonight." She always

generous like that so we always bought each other things we thought the other would

like.

I opened the bag and took out the most spectacular beige, glittery knit tank top.

"Gorgeous, I love it," I smiled.

"I knew you would. I thought you could wear it with your black leggings and your

doodles sneakers, " she mumbled as she brushed her teeth.

Then I went to the bedroom and put on the top. The length was long enough to cover

my ass, which made it perfect for leggings. I walked to the bathroom where Mei Lin

was doing her hair.

She looked at me through the mirror and whistled.

"Look at you, how long you've wasted that beautiful figure, that every guy at the club

is going to want to tap that hot beauty," she smiled as she lightly smacked it.

I rolled my eyes.

This Mei Lin is one of those people who does not have a filter, her says and what's on

her mind, at that moment and never gives it a second thought. Her mouth always spat

before her brain works out.

I smiled as I hugged her.

"Thank you, for the compliment," I said.

"Great, it's nice to see my babe smile again," she continued straightening her hair.

I asked her about Ou Yang, and she said he was a friend of a friend, and they went out

a couple of times. So I found it odd since this is the first time I'm hearing his name.

She said she started seeing him right when Mu Ting left me. And she didn't think it

was appropriate to talk about her dating life so soon.

But honestly , I was touched by her thoughtfulness not to mention it, but at the same

time I was pissed she didn't tell me soon.

I looked at myself in the mirror one last time before going out. I decided to throw

some soft curls into my hair that I already straightened and rubbed off some of the eye

shadow that Mei Lin painted on me.

Now I was starting to feel glad I decided to go out tonight as I needed some fun.

Mei Lin friends came to the door and whistled at the both of us as she opened it.

He gently kissed her on the cheek and walked over to me holding out his hand.

"Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Ou Yang," He shook his hand.

I shook his hand and told him the same.

His grip was firm, and from what I could tell so was his body. He has a curly hair

messy but in an attractive way and his eyes were piercing.

Now I could see why my friend was attracted to him.

After our little greeting, the three of us slid into the cab that was waiting for us

outside.

Mei Lin had her arm around Ou Yang as they nuzzled each other. Suddenly, I felt like

a third wheel.

"So, which club are we going to?" I asked.

Ou Yang swift his gaze from Mei Lin and looked over at me.

"I thought we'd go to M1NT," He said.

I frowned trying to think of how I knew that club, and then it hit me, my friend was

working there as a mangwr and told me something about the club.

I gasped.

"Isn't that a famous and pricey club?"

Mei Lin looked at me and smiled.

"Ru Wen, it's a club that everyone can go actually, just with who you go with only

that made it looks pricey." She said it so casually as if it was no big deal.

So I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the M1NT does means that only rich one can

go right?" Both of them smiled at me.

"Great, now you guys pay it then," I grumbled.

"Yes, sure. We are, " She laughed.

I crossed my arms and looked out the window as they started making out. I better

enjoy then since they're going to pay it.
