Lucid Dreams (2)

The girl looked around in a daze in the man's arms.

Xiandi finally got Mo Yu free from his back and slammed his small body on the ground and began stomp on the small cute creature.

Mo Yus flames turned red as he began to grow angry. The ground trembled softly. He scrambled inside Xiandi's robes and began to bite into his body in multiple places.

Quijie walked up to Ling Yiyao and spoke in a mocking tone. "The little one may have not accepted me as and uncle but he has neither accepted you as a father even through you…."

"Shut up!" Ling Yiyaos brows twitched in annoyance as he held Shi Rong. "Such a sharp tongued child must be taught some manners. He will acknowledge me as his father!"

Quijie snorted and slowly started to disappear.

Black lines appeared over Ling Yiyaos head. He turned his head around a yelled. "Quit it you ill mannered brats!"

Xiandi and Hui Mian immediately turned into a small kitten and rabbit.

Hui Mian, Xiandi and Mo Yu sat down obenidenly as they shook in fear from his sudden outburst.

Shi Rongs eyelashes fluttered as she whimpered softly. Her exposed white arm was now pale with a large purplish bruise.

Ling Yiyao frowned as he looked at the bruise. "Rong'er I'm sorry."

He turned towards the three beasts. "Let's go!"

they nodded and immediately followed with their heads lowered.

Ling yiyao carried Shi Rong back to the hotel where he laid her across the bed.

He wiped the girls sweaty brows and changed her blood red robes into a simple white gown.

The girl laid unconscious on the bed for two weeks as she whimpered and sweated profusely in her sleep. Ling yiyao stayed by her side as he wiped her brows and squeezed her hand to help ease her pain.

"Rong'er"

....

Shi Rong rose out of a field of flowers on the ground, her once blood red robes where now just a simple peach colored robe. Her hair swung loosely down her back as the red jewel in her forehead glowed white.

She looked down at her hands to see them glowing faintly.

"Am I dead?" She thought internally as she looked around at the endless valley of flowers. "Ouijie?" there was no reply from inside her soul. She moved her hand and noticed a trail of wind follow her every movement.
