I woke up with a groan as I felt the pain at the back of my neck accompanied by an intense headache.
Lifting my head slowly, I had to blink my eyes several times to clear my dazed state.
I looked around to see what looked like an abandoned house with old furniture. Wanting to get away, I stood up and nearly tumbled to the floor.

It was then I realized that my wrists were tied behind my back to the back of the chair I was sitting on, and my ankles were also bound to the legs of the chair.
The door was slightly ajar and I saw a short, chubby he-wolf with a beer belly and a gentle she-wolf talking.
Sofia... Why was I not surprised? She was one of the rogues now, it wasn't surprising that she would ask for their help again.
She was the perfect example of the phrase ‘Don't judge a book by its cover’ - gentle and pitiful on the outside, evil and vicious on the inside.
I strained my ears to hear what they were talking about.
