••• Charlotte’s POV •••
Today, Hayden had something to do, so I had to train alone. After a series of intense training with Hayden, I felt that I was making progress and was now stronger.
I swished the sword that Hayden had given me and moved according to what he had taught me on how to behead or pierce werewolves in their wolf forms.
“Lottie!” Leo’s shout reached my ears and I stopped my movements to see him running fast toward me.
“What’s wrong?” I asked him anxiously as he looked very serious.
“I received a mindlink from one of the guards at the outskirts real estate development projects,” he said.
“And?”
“A group of rogues is causing trouble there,” he said with a grim expression.
“Are they okay?” I asked as I quickly grabbed my training jacket and zipped it over my sports bra.
“They should be okay,” he replied as we walked toward his car.
Suddenly he stopped and looked anxious. “Lottie, there are rogues on the southern border.”
