44 Goblin's Rage Final

The Goblin Prince was currently sweating and it looked like his body was fatigued. His eyes had bags and it looks like he could fall asleep at any moment. The Goblin Prince was slowly losing all the energy that he had before.

As Finn and I sat there in silence the Goblin Prince's soul slowly started to become faded as time went by. As it was about to fade out of existence I heard the Goblin Prince say one last thing.

"Make sure that my soul is destroyed, please."

At the Goblin Prince's request, I decided to crush what was left of the soul before it had a chance to vanish. With the soul of the Goblin Prince being crushed, I got a strange notification from the system.

[You have killed "???"]

[You have gained a new quality "???"]

There wasn't anything that I could find about what the quality was from the system and when I asked the system I wouldn't get any response so I continued on back to the side of Finn what had been sitting there waiting for me.

"Well, that was not what I was expecting from this dungeon." he had been quiet for quite some time on this floor so he must have been thinking to himself all this time.

"Maybe something unique happened this time?" There were indeed some unique cases in this dungeon run. The monsters all had unique skills and unranked skills and we even ran into someone who had an immortal soul. He had been through so many different lives that he eventually just stopped caring. Before I had offered a solution to his problem his face had been deadpan with a lack of emotion overall, but that really changed once I had taken over his burden.

"That's what I've been thinking about for some time now. The only things that I know about that could cause this would be your arrival in the world or a foreign entity had manipulated the dungeon." Both are plausible but the latter would be harder to prove since whoever had the power to manipulate the Goblin Prince would have to have been a monster considering all of his stats were question marks. I've never seen that before, even the guild master had all his stats at 200 which seemed to be the limit. The bunch of question marks was a surprise to me.

"I'd like to hope that it wasn't me who caused it since that would mean every dungeon would end up like this."

"That's definitely a possibility. Make sure to be careful in the future when entering a dungeon. I doubt that you would be as lucky as you were a second time."

"True... Let's head back." With how Finn had been acting I guess I showed off more than I should have. He probably knows that I've reached level 20 already.

"Yeah, we need to report to the guild master. I'll send the message that we're coming back right now." With that Finn takes out the same magic tool that he had me contact him with and sent in the report to the guild master.

After reporting to the guild master we agreed that we had to leave the dungeon right away. As we leave the dungeon by teleporting back to Finn's house we both head to the guild to go report back to the guild master.

While reporting to the guild master he asked a lot of questions but a lot of the answers were chalked up to the fact that I'm the "Hero" that has been summoned. As a result of that, the report files were classified and this whole incident was swept under the rug with some guild employees checking the dungeon every now and then.

"With that Dungeon run, I reached level 20. Since it's about 6 pm I'm going to go get my class advanced and call it a day."

"Alright, with you reaching level 20 I now accomplished my mission of protecting you. You're free to act on your own now." Finn said with a relieved smile. He seemed genuinely happy that I had gotten strong enough to be able to contend with some of the intermediate Boss monsters of the Dungeon. It seems like my tutorial for this world is finally over.

"What are you going to do from here on? You've been stuck in this city waiting for me haven't you?" I said remembering how when he was summoned he had waited here for years for me.

"Yeah, I can finally leave the capital of light. I'll be exploring the world from here on out aiming to get stronger by attacking some different dungeons. Eventually, when I reach the higher-tiered dungeons I plan to take a break before going any farther. I have to try my best to reach a higher rank, even if you are the "Hero" that was summoned to kill the Demon King. I wouldn't want you to fall behind due to my existence." Finn said while flashing a bright smile. That smile must have been infectious since I couldn't help but smile as well.

"Yeah, I'll call you If I ever need your knowledge or help with something."

"You better, I'll see you around Bell."

After saying our goodbyes we went our separate ways, Finn heading out of the guild while I went towards the receptionist currently at the counter. While I may have reached level 20 I wanted to further my mage class since cheater was already at its max. The only way that I could see cheater improving would have to be from the upgrade tickets that I racked up from the Dungeon.

While thinking about all that I gained from the Dungeon, I advanced my class from apprentice magician to mage. I was now a full-fledged mage. After advancing my class I received a notification from the system that gave me a surprise.

From the dungeon run today I had leveled my sword mastery to level 8 but I had also gained a lot more than I thought that I would.
