The Trial

Balance clicked on 'Yes' without hesitation. He had a good feeling about this trial.

Balance was again enveloped in bright light and his vision blanked again.

Opening his eyes, Balance was amazed by the scenery.

He was teleported into a beautiful grass field. The sky was blue with some clouds and in the distant there were mountains. The sun was high up in the sky.

Just when Balance was enjoying the scenery, the system announcement commenced.

Balance's lips curved into a smile. He was very excited and he already knew he was going for the hidden class. He was very curious about this hidden class.

It also said the difficulty was '???'. This must mean it's immeasurable or impossible. But nothing is impossible in the face of Balance. He set his eyes on the hidden class.

5 minutes flew by like a gust of wind and the system announcement sounded again.

[1st wave starts now]

[Wave objective: Kill 100 goblins]

[Goodluck]

''100 goblins, are you joking?'' Balance was disappointed, he alone slayed more than 200.000 zombies on the first day. How can 100 weak goblins compare to 200.000 zombies.

Zombies were stronger than goblins, this was a complete joke.

What Balance didn't know, was that the city he was in. Was actually one of the worst cities struck by the apocalypse. Other cities were better of then a zombie outbreak, where millions of zombies were walking the streets.

But even so, if normal people heard the system announce that they must kill 100 goblins on the first wave, they would have already fainted. Because with each increasing wave, the goblins number would increase. And the enemies would become stronger over time.

Normal people couldn't even kill 10 goblins or they would have already been overwhelmed.

After the announcement disappeared, Balance heard a goblin shout at it's companions they saw an enemy and rushed towards Balance.

Balance smiled at these goblins just simply walking towards their death. These creatures were truly funny to watch.

Balance released his killing intent ability for the first time, he tried using it against zombies, but zombies know no fear.

[When used, you release a powerful aura full of killing intent. Any enemy will be overwhelmed with your bloodthirsty aura and pee their pants.]

[Special Ability: With every creature you kill, your killing intent will become stronger]

When the goblins felt Balance's immense killing intent, they fell down to their knees and peed their pants.

Balance simply walked towards them and beheaded the 100 goblins within 10 seconds.

5 minutes flew by again and the announcement sounded again.

Balance was again disappointed, the objectives were easy cake for him. But this also shows that Balance can easily clear the waves.

Balance cleared wave after wave.

2nd wave, 3rd wave, 4th wave...

[Wave Objective: Kill 1000 goblins, 1 goblin king]

Finally Balance stumbled across something different other than normal goblins.

The goblins spawned in front of him, just like last time. But something was different from the earlier waves.

At the back of the army of goblins, stood a larger goblin with a crown on his ugly head. The goblin king had a prideful look on his face.

Balance used his Eyes of Balance on the goblin king

The goblins itself were F Rank Monsters, but the goblin king was a D rank monster. This was 2 ranks higher.

The skills of the Goblin King were straight forward. Balance didn't care about the other 5 skills, they were common skills everyone had.

Goblin King spotted Balance and shouted at it's minions to attack the human. After the command, the goblins charged at Balance without fear.

Balance almost wanted to laugh, every wave they just ran towards Balance without fear. But the next second they all peed their pants in the face of Balance's strong killing intent skill.

Balance released his killing intent and all the goblins were directly suppressed.

Balance slaughtered them all and left the Goblin King for last.

The goblin king couldn't even use his most powerful skill: King's Authority and all it's minions were already annihilated. The goblin king stumbled back and fell to the ground on it's butt.

The goblin king began to beg for mercy in an unknown language. Balance didn't show any mercy and beheaded the goblin king.
