Journey

POV: Daisuke

The moonlight shined upon me, as I took a good look at the city I have been staying the past years it will be quite a long time before I come back I thought to my self as I took the things I have prepared for my self ready for my journey.

I put on a black cloack and a fox mask over my face a newly bought katana hanging on my waist.

I turned around slowly taking a last view of the city as I made my step towards a new and interesting adventure I couldn't wait.

——————————————————-

It's been about a month since I started travelling around I have challenged a few dojos and learned different methods of using your swords all my various opponents I faced until now gave me a good fight but nothing to extreme.

I even had a few encounters with a few demons wich I was able to easily take care of them while some of them directly escaped the moment they felt threatened.

All this month I haven't slacked off I trained like hell even more brutal then I imagined punching rocks with my bare hands climbing mountains running with stones on my shoulders even as far as going up a mountain with my hands.

I also continued meditating with the intention to reflect and learn upon my fights and to take any errors from my form of combat.

I have also increased my control over demonic energy and now I can turn it in to flames whenever I want plus I developed different techniques with my flames of course taking inspiration from my old world animes.

All in all it's been a rewarding month even though my power grows slowly at a snail pace but it's worth it.

But I have like two years to train so I can improve I am sure of it.

——-——————–—————————

Well it's been about a year and seven months I ain't so sure I have visited a lot of places deserted villages lush and green forests dark and spooky places, beautiful sees and rivers and I got to say it was quite the experience I felt free to do whatever I want without giving a damn about anyone else.

I even have gotten quite the reputation for my self people started giving me nicknames all around, some refered to me as "Sword Flame Demon" or as crazy as it might sound even "Benevolent Demon" even "Masked Swordsman" well according to people everywhere I go only flames remain burning everything on their place, well that's might be because I might have burned a few dojos while fighting them well whatever doesn't really matter.

The second nickname on the other hand I got it from people I unintentionally saved from demons I wanted to fight and since according to them I was like a saviour sent from heaven to burn the demons with my flames for their sins.

As for the last one just because of my appearance people started to call me that because I never gave them any information about my self.

I have also developed a quite interesting swordsmanship wich I did copy from an old anime in my old world

"Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū"

In simple terms it's a swordsmanship created to strike in a singe blow combined with immense speed and agility and observation-based pseudo-clairvoyance that permits a practitioner to anticipate an opponent's moves.

Both offensive and defensive maneuvers are executed with minimal movement to increase a practitioner's ability to counterattack and conserve energy. As such, made with efficiency and spareness of exertion in the face of warfare scale battles yet with powerful and coordinated movements to easily fell threats in long and undetermined periods, it is among one of the strongest and oldest kenjutsu styles in Japan

The style commonly has the user keep one hand on the sheath at all times, stresses two-step attacks to ensure that the practitioner is never off guard while executing said attacks, and allows the user to use the sheath as a shield to block attacks. Practitioners are also trained in honing their senses and to recognize movement, as well as to react in kind with their opponent's emotional disposition to efficiently fend them off accurately

A process in short that can be called "utilizing one's spirit energy " or the internal way of the martial arts, allowing the practitioner to dynamically flow in turn with their opponent's own energy and use their own pace against them. Arguably, its most well-known trait is the surreal speed practitioners of this style use in battle  Godspeed, allowing the user to accelerate, maneuver, and strike at speeds most eyes are unable to properly follow. This allows the user to close a considerable distance in seconds and strike down enemies before they can react.

Admittedly without the help of that old bastard I wouldn't be able to learn it he was the only living practitioner of this style and he wouldn't teach it to me if he wasn't at death doors just because I was a demon the discrimination in that old baldy.

Still I made a quick prayer for him paying him my resepekt to him at the end I am grateful to him for teaching swordsmanship.

Even at his age I couldn't beat him I only managed to leave shallow wounds on him.

He pushed me to breakthrough the C-class level demon while leaving me with his treasure wich was a really beautiful katana with the ability to self repair and clears the mind of its wielder from unecessary thoughts.

Its a normal katana with a purple hilt with white design and a black blade the sword itself has quite an aura to it, from all the battles that old freak has been in to the sword has now a bloodlust to it craving more battles and blood.

I my self have quite the thick and bloodlust around me wich makes normal people avoid me at all cost.

I have been thinking lately and I got to say I am quite and idiot, why didn't I copy the techniques shown in the series Yusukes spirit gun it's such an easy and simple technique.

So with that in mind I went to work and tried to copy different techniques I rember from the show

"Only a few months left before the show begins let's do our best"
