Nami then told him about her past and how she, along with her sister Nojiko, were adopted by Bellemere. How they used to live in the Cocoyashi Village in the Conami Island. How she loved drawing maps and navigation from a little age but couldn't afford the books because Bell-mere only had a tangerine farm so she used to steal the books. And how she even had said that she wished she was adopted by some rich people when Bellemere gave her Nojiko's old dress. Nami was openly crying now, saying how horrible a daughter she had been. He just consoled her saying that she was just a child back then.

She then told him how on that same day Arlong had come to take over Conami Island and had demanded a great amount of money from every one. And Bellemere only had enough money for either herself or for Nami and Nojiko. And even though Her sister and she were hiding, Bellemere still chose to give that money as their payment saying that she will never say that she never had daughters. After which she was killed by Arlong. And when Arlong saw the map Nami had drawn, he had forced her to make maps for himself and said that if she could gather a hundred million belli, he would release her whole village from the debt. And like that she has been working like that ever since, lying, cheating to steel money.

Even though He had already known all that, hearing it from crying Nami was even much more impactful then he heard it in the anime. What was he doing at the age of nine-ten years, he was simply going to school and playing some old video games. At that Age she had to risk her Life on a daily basis.

He got up, took off his hat and put it on Nami's head. "Bellemere was a great mother, Nami. And I Promise you that I will kill that Arlong and every single fish in his crew and free your village and whole Island." He promised her.

After Hearing that her heart was filled with warmth and Love for him. Then she got up and jumped into his arms. "Thank you Luffy, Thank you so much." She said as she cried on his shoulders. Luffy just stroked her back for some time.

After some time they heard Ann's voice "Land ho". As Nami had calmed down he said to her, "Looks like we have reached the Island."

Nami looked at him and smiled as if all the burdens had been lifted off of her shoulders. "Wait.. Luffy" she grabbed Luffy's arms. Luffy looked towards her and Nami then put both of her hands on the both cheeks of Luffy then dove in to kiss him on the lips. Luffy was a little surprised but quickly accepted the kiss and kissed her with enthusiasm. Soon he pushed his tongue in her little mouth. Entangling his tongue with her. After kissing like that until they were out of breath they separated with a strand of saliva leaving between them. After that Nami became really bashful and was looking down at the floor. "Ok let's go, We have to go outside." She said hurriedly and then sped passed him.

Luffy just chuckled at her actions. Then also went outside. Everyone was already on the deck looking ahead at the Island. They saw a small Island with nothing but jungle on it and they could only feel animals there and no humans.

All the girls were surprised when they saw Luffy and Nami came out with Nami wearing his straw hat. But none was more surprised than Ann and Makino as they knew the importance of the hat to Luffy or what they thought was the importance of the hat to Luffy as he never made any comments that said otherwise.

After that all of them got off the ship. "So Luffy, why did we come to this Island?" Ann asked Luffy with a curious face.

"We came here to check for a devil fruit." Luffy told them.

"What, how do you even know about devil fruit being there?" Nami Asked Surprised.

"Well I heard that the previous owner of Mera Mera no mi died somewhere around this Island." Luffy replied. He was just spouting some nonsense, he had just read in the wiki as he read about Ace when he was stranded on this island with that Deuce guy.

"What Flame fruit, that's a logia class fruit, and considered very powerful even in Logia class fruits." Makino said with a surprised voice.

"But what does the User dying have to do with coming here?" Kuina Asked Luffy with curiosity.

"I have also heard a rumor how when the Devil fruit user dies, the abilities of that fruit is reborn into the nearest fruit of the same kind." Luffy explained. And of course he had heard of this theory which was probably true but he can't say for certain.

All girls were looking with amazement in their eyes "What something like that can be true?" Ann Asked what everyone was thinking.

"I don't know, that's why I said to check." Luffy said to them.

"Alright this is a small Island so I alone will be able easily search it in just a short amount of time, so you girls can just hang around for some time." said Luffy taking off.

After that all girls were sitting around on the beach when Ann suddenly turned towards Nami.

"So tell us what happened between you and Luffy." Ann asked Nami.

"What.. what are you talking about?" replied Nami with some nervousness. She was thinking what she should say to them, should she tell them about the talk she had with Luffy about her past.

"Oh come on you went inside his room and then you came out with his hat on your head. You don't know what that hat means to him do you?" Ann continued.

Makino realizing that Luffy and Nami may have had to talk about Nami's situation said "You don't have to tell us anything about what you and Luffy talked about we just wanted to know if anything happened between you two."

Nami sighed a bit after hearing that but then her face become red after she remembered the Kiss "We kissed" she told them

"Hn looks like we are Harem sister now." Said Ann and embraced blushing Nami.

Kuina felt a sudden Pangs of jealousy for not being in the group, And after that feeling she understood that she also had fallen for their perverted captain.

Even Kaya felt a little bad for not being in the group. But it was more of a concern about not being in the group and not about being in the harem.

After Hugging Ann, Nami then asked, "Previously you said something about the hat's importance to Luffy. Can you tell me what you meant by it?"

Ann and Makino looked towards each other then they nodded at each other. All of these people were recruited by Luffy so he won't mind about the girl knowing about the hat.

After that they told them about how a pirate named Shanks had come to their village, how he and Luffy became friend, how Luffy got his scar, how Luffy ate the gomu-gomu no mi, how Shanks had sacrificed his arm for Luffy and how he have given his straw hat to Luffy with a promise to return it when he became a great pirate.

All the girls were amazed to hear the story behind the Hat.

"You mean one of the Yonko red haired Shanks gave Luffy this hat." Kuina asked With amazement in her eyes.

Kaya equally felt how amazing her new captain was that he was even recognized by one of the Yonko.

Nami had the hat in her hands after hearing who this hat belonged to and how important this hat was to Luffy and how he had used his hat to comfort her, her love for Luffy had increased even further.

"Well shanks wasn't a Yonko back then he only became a Yonko four years ago." Makino told them.

Makino and Ann just looked at each other. they just thought to themselves what would be their reaction when they found out about the family of Ann and Luffy. One was the daughter of the Pirate king himself. Another was the grandson of the hero of the marines and son of the most dangerous "criminal" in the world.

On another area of the Island Luffy was searching the whole Island at very fast speed using gear second. After some time he came across a round orange fruit, there were many Flame like parts with swirls pattern on each one and had a swirled stem on the top.

"Found it." Luffy said with happiness. He plucked the fruit and then went back to the ship.

When they saw him coming All the girls Came towards Luffy with curiosity in their eyes.

He just brought his hand forward with the fruit on it.

All the girls could not believe their eyes. He actually found the fruit.

"yo.. you actually found it." Said Ann with surprise in her voice.

"Yes and this is for you." He said to Ann giving her the fruit.

"What about the other girls? I can't just eat it." Ann asked with concern. All the girls were Happy to know that Ann was concerned about them.

"Now we know the rumors are correct we can gather more fruit which suits them more Like For Kaya a fruit which helps her in becoming better Doctor or fruit which can Enhance her Navigation Capabilities, For Makino something Which could enhance her fighting capabilities. And Lastly I don't think any kind of fruit is good for Kuina As she wants to become a sword then fruit might only get in the way." Luffy said. Some more nonsense as he didn't know that this rumor was really true or not but it didn't matter as he would have told them about the fruit snatching powers by then.

All the girls were happy that he had thought about them. And Kuina Understood his point of view If she wants to become the best she can't have distraction. Maybe later when she has achieved her dream she can also eat a devil fruit.

After which Ann took a bite of the fruit, It was the most disgusting thing she has ever eaten in her Life. but she already knew about it as Luffy had told her many times in the past.

They waited for some time after her eating the fruit and soon her hand lit on orange yellow fire. she brought her fist up and looked at it. it did not burn her a single bit even her clothes weren't burnt by the fire.

She then thrust her arms forward in the direction of the ocean, Unknowingly Doing one of the favorite moves of Ace.

'HiKen' She shouted. A stream of fire burst out of her hand. The fire was enough to Burn down an Armada of a huge number of ships. Everyone just stared at her. this fruit was even more powerful than they previously thought.

Ann just Looked at her fist this power was magnificent. With it she could be even more powerful and could be of help and protect Luffy even more.

Luffy then also suggested some ideas for attacks which were used by Ace Without naming them. He could even teach her about different colored fire with different temperatures later when she has a good grasp on her powers.
