Dazzling?

Three Days!!!

Beating around the bush with nothing reasonable to say, Xiao Yuer excused himself and hurriedly took the little boy into their courtyard. He could swear he saw the old man gaze strangely at him as he passed.

Xiao Yuer stopped halfway through their courtyard and curiously glanced at the position where him and that man once were, but the man had gone.

"I had been in a trance for three days!!!" He said with a frown, "I wonder how he was able to know that I am actually Lin cai'er. Perhaps, he might've have been one of those poking neighbors who always want to know everything, and everything about your business. "

Though he wasn't sure, but Xiao Yuer seemed as if he felt a strange aura from that old man. He ignored the feeling with a _Humph!_ and went straight to his disheveled apartment. Like how it was left before, the room was a living mess. Paper lanterns damaged, tables, chairs, curtains, baskets, room divider, vases, and even his bed and it's baldachin all destroyed that Xiao Yuer could only curse again.

Those bullies really made a big mess of his home!

Having had to clean up the mess before Xiao could do anything, firstly, he needed a safe place to drop the little boy on his shoulder before he could swing into action.

Upon surveying around, Surprisingly, his eyes caught sight of a mat which hadn't been destroyed like the others, so he hurriedly moved over. Avoiding broken shards as he made his way, he gently picked it and used his legs to clear a corner within the large room. Afterwards Xiao Yuer spread the mat on the floor, Ignoring the folds it had of not using two hands to spread the mat neatly, and gently laid the little boy on it. Then, he began to clean up his room.

The crow of a cock filled the air before another door within their courtyard shot open. Behind those designed teak doors stood an oversized short woman who squinted a bit at the sunbeam. Her head was like a coconut, while it seemed stuck into her oversized body. Her neck seemed to be invisible like she had none while only folds of fat could be seen. She could only be described as rotund and plumpy.

As if it wasn't enough, she was bad at applying makeup as her face looked like a playground for little girls. Red mascaras were irksomely applied on her left eyes while green mascaras were applied on the other side. On her face, it was as if she had wasted every single white powder she could lay her hand on, while the blushes on her cheeks were unbelievably horrible.

Her lips were red in lipsticks, however she looked not so bad in her intricately flowery designed hanfu, with a beautiful sunhat worn above her head.

"Another beautiful day today is..." She brought out a mirror from the purse she held, and briefly scrutinized her self using it. ".... And I look outstandingly beautiful for it again! Ha! No wonder men are always ashamed to ask me out. Just because I'm so beautiful that they can't afford me, and all they do is only glance at me. " She demonstrated as she said those words. Trailing her other hand over her body.

She carressed her face skin and pursed her lips," Oh, look at this beauty staring at me opposite this mirror. Isn't she.... ".

Her words were cut short when she heard a crashing sound coming from outside, quite distant from where she was. She paused for a moment. With a frustrated face and a groan, she pocketed her mirror and adjusted her hanfu.

'who is it again?' she thought before marching out of her room. Gently closing her doors, she strolled towards the source of the unwanted noise.

Xiao Yuer was just about to arrange a few broken shards at the corner when they all came crashing again, and broke into smaller pieces. He sighed in frustration before his eyes quickly glanced at the laying boy, before tracing elsewhere; to neat areas he'd thoroughly cleaned. He wiped his already sweaty forehead and resumed working.

Finally, Xiao Yuer managed to take them outside and dispose them at the corners of his apartment. He was just about to dispose the fourth set of shard when he heard a light voice sound right behind him.

"Hey you! What do you think you're doing huh? "

A frown appeared on Xiao yuer's face as he detected a hint of irritation in the voice. He turned around just for him to meet a lady who's features looked like a cow on makeup.

Xiao Yuer laughed inwardly. Then he bit his lips to subdue a chuckle before speaking with a nice voice. "Good day ma'am. How may I help you?"

"How may you?..." The lady trailed of as her gaze went allover Xiao Yuer from head to toe. Her breaths stuck within her throat as her eyes finally landed on the strange man's face.

What a beauty above heavens and earth!

His lips were juicy and red, while his silver pupils were sharp and sparkling. Not only that, his skin was glamorous and seemed delicate while his long cascading hair made her jealous.

Never in this lady's life had she ever seen a... Was it a male or female? This beauty.

"Umm, ma'am is anything wrong?" Xiao Yuer said, feeling quite awkward at her gaze. The lady cleared her throat as she got back to herself.

Her gaze lingered over Xiao Yuer one last time while she felt heat creeping it's way to her cheeks and ears. Her demeanor brightened before she resumed. However, she had forgotten what she wanted to say.

"So. I would repeat myself. What are you doing here? And do you know the owner of this house?" The Lady finally said just as she remembered her last statement. She wore a bright smile while her tone was more subtle than before.

Brows creased, then one cocked up. Neighbors and their gossips. Xiao Yuer folded his arms irritatedly, letting out a sigh before he replied, "Does it concern you if I choose to live here? " He unfolded his arm."... Besides, who doesn't know of Lin cai'er. The son of the Lin household if that's what you want to mention. " He clicked his tongue and turned, " I should get back to work. "

" Wait... "

The woman called just as Xiao Yuer turned to walk inside. Having taken three steps, he gradually halted.

" what?" He didn't look at her as he spoke. He had other things to do than argue or discuss with someone.

" Well, welcome. You can call me Mrs pretty or Shao Zhen. But I prefer Mrs pretty. " She fiddled her cloth foolishly, while she watched the back of Xiao Yuer. Trying her best to hide the blush in her face, she added quickly. "... And incase you need help with anything... I'm always available. "

" Hmm... " Xiao Yuer couldn't stop himself from frowning," who made you up? " He asked.

" Oh it's pretty right? Very pretty right? " The lady felt her fatty skin before answering." I did it myself." She giggled.

Xiao Yuer knew the truth needed to be told but he pondered on how to deliver it to this unfortunately happy woman. He glanced behind his shoulder and still noticed the woman standing right behind him.

"Aren't you going somewhere... Madam?" A brow raised.

"I am..." She giggled giddily then shook her head like she had gone mad. "I just. I just want to hear your opinion on my makeup. I only need very beautiful men comment on how dazzling I look."

" Dazzling ? "Xiao Yuer turned and couldn't hide the disgust on his face. Firstly, he wasn't disgusted that she was fat or coconut headed, but how did she end up with a make up as horribly done as the one she wore. He could bet that a Xiangmo would be chased through her face.

And yet, did she just say dazzling??

"Yes. Dazzling." The woman nodded. Her lashes blinked briskly, while her red lips widened. She looked more horrifying smiling!

"You should just go to wherever you are going to. Your makeup is pretty (Ugly)" Xiao Yuer waved a palm.

"Really?"

"Yes. Now, you can go. "

Xiao Yuer walked back inside and resumed his cleaning, after the lady had left with a scream!!

"I wonder if he's going to make it." Xiao Yuer mused as he watched the laying boy for the umpteenth time. Their apartment had been neatly arranged and Xiao Yuer had fixed a few of their spoilt furnitures. The door, their wooden bed and it's baldachin were now all in good shape.

Xiao Yuer got up and crossed half of their room. "I should purchase a dream talisman. That way, we would be safe even though others are at risk. "He brought out his pouch of money. Admiring it drew a smile to his beautiful face before he hid it into his hem and set off to purchase both food and the talisman.

Xiao Yuer roamed around to everywhere he could and finally purchased all that he needed.

The sun was fully out and scorching as he made his way back. Whistling while he carried all he had bought. He arrived at the courtyard and headed straight for his own apartment.

The first place Xiao Yuer headed to after his arrival, was the little boy who was sleeping when he left. Surprisingly,  as he gently approached where the little boy was, he saw that the boy was already awake, but struggling to stay in a sitting position.

Xiao took gradual steps closer to render help, however, when the boy noticed a strange beautiful individual he wasn't familiar with, all he could do was to let out loud ear-piercing scream that could shatter a very delicate ceramic vase.

Initially, when the boy woke up few minutes after Xiao Yuer left. Having passed through the horror that so called creature had put him through, he became very assertive. He was aware of a word called kidnapping because a few of his orphaned friends had disappeared through it. Especially the female one's.

Hence, he had to be very vigilant!

His loud shrieking scream tore through their apartment and beyond.

"Child. Child. Calm down. I won't hurt you. I am here to help." Xiao yuer's pleasing word's didn't seem to get a toll on the boy who kept screaming like his life depended on it. It was very loud that Xiao Yuer had to shield his ears tightly while he wondered just how high could the boy's voice be.
