Starting Gift!

It's taking quite a while as the Goddess flips through the book's pages to see whether she could grant another gift to Izuki. As Izuki had requested that he doesn't want the system.

*Thump!*

"According to the book, I can grant you something else but the options are limited… As you could choose one amongst the eight gifts that we could provide."

"So what were my options then?" Izuki ask.

The Goddess told Izuki the eight gifts that Izuki could pick before starting his life in another world.

Among the eight gifts that were presented to Izuki. None of them seem to be appealing at all as all of them were just a basic gift that all animes had been using before. That's all besides one gift that somehow makes Izuki curious, the gift that The Goddess stated was simply unclear.

As it was called Lovers Champion… the goddess doesn't explain much of it as she just said that it will give Izuki a lover's power. Thus making Izuki curious about what it does compare to other gifts that The Goddess presents to Izuki.

There's no further explanation given to it, Izuki's curiosity began to rise due to that.

But of course, he can't pick rashly as this would impact how he will be reincarnated into the new fantasy world. One wrong choice here would surely make his life in the new world more difficult even with gifts.

"I would want you to hurry up if you can, there's a time limit for a human soul to be in this realm. I wouldn't want you to cease to exist just like that because of this reason… there's another world to be saved, you know." The Goddess said that towards Izuki.

Hearing those words makes Izuki unable to think calmly about what gifts he wanted to choose. So he decided to just use his curiosity to choose what gift he wanted to be reincarnated with.

Of course, that would be the Lover's Champion gift…

The Goddess then asked Izuki, "Are you sure you wanted that gift? None of the previous heroes ever chose that according to the Book of Authority, so even us me the Goddess doesn't know what it does… so there's a chance that it would be a weak gift or utterly useless."

The Goddess explains it further that the reason why she doesn't know the gifts very well was that she wasn't in charge of them. The one who created the gifts was the God of the world whom I would soon be reincarnated.

All of that explanation does make it risky to choose that unknown gift but Izuki had already made up his mind to pick that one. Simply because-

"I know that I could play the safest option by choosing the other gifts but ain't this better, I am the first hero that would be using this gift in another world. So I am rather excited to know what it would do and master that gift to the fullest on my own!" Izuki said that with excitement.

"I see, that's the choice you made then." The Goddess paused for a bit as she looked at me, "I bestow you the Lover's Champion Gift and some other basic perk to make sure you wouldn't be dying that easily…"

The Goddess then chants some unknown words toward Izuki. Suddenly Izuki's whole body felt a bit weird and somehow it made him feel drowsy… Though he realizes that this might be the spell that would send him to a new world.

It's very cliche as most reincarnation would begin like this… as when someone had fallen asleep, he would be transferred into another world. Izuki thought of that until it happened to him eventually as his eyes finally closed.

"Oi! Wake up will ya!"

An unknown voice says that and thus Izuki wakes up…

He quickly opened his eyes and looked around him almost immediately. Because Izuki remembers it all and knows that he probably was in another world already.

Just like what Izuki suspected, it's indeed a new world as none of the scenes here was familiar to him. Also, he realized that he was somehow in some kind of shed at this moment.

As he was just about to think of the situation… he then received a light smack on his head.

"Ouch! That hurts…" Izuki uttered those words as his head was smacked just now.

"What are you still doing here! Let's go already!" A young female voice said.

Izuki then turned towards the voice and realized that it was a girl with black hair who said that. He also notices that she's rather young as if she's like 10 years old or something like that.

"Wait? Who are you again?" Izuki said that he was also aware that his voice was rather soft and he knows that he was a child as well in this world.

Izuki thought that he would be reincarnated in his former self and wasn't expecting this at all. Though he wasn't that shocked by this as Izuki knows that this is rather a cliche reincarnation style to be reborn as a child.

"Are you playing with me here, Ceonre? Let's go already as promised to meet Ellyn at the meadow near the village… I do not want to make Ellyn wait for us!" The black hair girl said that.

Upon hearing that, Izuki learns that his name was Ceonre in this world and he also knows that he might be reincarnated into a children's body here. Since his name wasn't Izuki anymore in this world, he knew that he needed to adapt to the name of Ceonre.

There's still a lot of stuff to figure out and he knows that the only way for him to learn about it was to ask the girl here.

"Okay but I-"

Before he could say anything further, the black hair girl simply dragged him up and started to run and drag him towards a place…
