The Twilight Elixir
It's been 5 months since Sirelt's training began.There was no mission for Arnold and Militis for a long time.One day General Luka called for them.
As both of them entered the throne room they noticed that General Luka was tensed."Are you not feeling compos mentis General Luka", asked Arnold with a confused face." I'm not alright, the king gave a mission for both of you but I don't think you will be able to find it".What is it that needs to be uncovered?." During twilight, a dungeon appears on the south side of this region and inside the dungeon, various types of powerful monster appears with unique item drops after you beat them".So, do we have to bring an item that's found only inside the dungeon?."Yup, that's pretty much it but the monster that you need to target is a bloodsucking legendary monster which is very hard to be seen".I think we should try and see if we can hunt down the monster." There's no red flag in terms of embarking but the monster appears in a tricky way that most people fall victim to it".Can you tell us the name of the monster?."It's called Impundulu, it's a bird with the lightning attribute".You said it appears in a tricky way what did you mean by that?."The monster sometimes takes the form of a human and many fail to distinguish them which results in their kicking the bucket".That sounds like the monster has quite a deceiving persona." I just remembered the attribute you and Militis possess was not corroborated".Yes, we still don't know what our attributes are."Ok then, go to Alish and tell him to take both of you to the magic room".Alright, understood General Luka we'll do so.
After that Arnold and Militis went to meet Mr. Alish and told him about their next mission.Alish took them to the magic room and inside the room, there was a rope which was of golden colour.Arnold told Militis to check her ability first as he believed in the saying Ladies first."Grab the rope for a minute and let it go".Militis went nigher and grabbed the rope for a minute just as Mr. Alish told to do.After Militis let go of the rope it took the shape of an oval and the colour of the rope changed into blue colour."It looks like you have the water attribute"."How am I going to use the water attribute Mr. Alish", asked Militis with a determined face."Imagine a ball of water and you will be able to govern over your attribute".Militis did as Mr. Alish told and was able to create a ball of water in her hands which were floating."Great job Militis, you were able to do it on your first try"."Thank you Mr. Alish I'll try to improve my magic more to be useful to Arnold sama"."I'm already satisfied with your help, your a great assistance", said Arnold with a cheerful face.Hearing this Militis's face became all red and left the magic room.Arnold was confused why Militis left the room suddenly."You are one lady killer my man Arnold", said Mr. Alish with a smug face. It's nothing like that I think of her as my sister Mr. Alish."Ooh, I see don't worry,I believe you". Judging by your look I don't think you acknowledge the fact.
After the chatter with Mr. Alish, Arnold went and grabbed the rope.As Arnold let go of the rope it turned into half black and half white but the rope didn't take any shapes." Wow, you have both light and dark attributes", said Mr. Alish with a surprised face.What attributes do I have?, asked Arnold as he thought he might have heard wrong."You have both light and dark ability in a balanced manner".So, is it peculiar to have dual attributes?."No, it's good that you have two magic affinities it's just both of your attributes are antithetical of one another which makes it noteworthy to be seen together".Arnold was so so joyous that his inner mind was screaming alright I did it, I at least have two decent magic attributes besides my lousy ability."You should go and tell General Luka about and while you're at it kindly send Sirelt to this room".Ok, I'll send her to this room right now."Good, one last thing congratulations".Saying "thanks", Arnold left the room.
Arnold went to the training area and shouted Sirelt!! come here!!.Sirelt heard him and stopped her training with Sir. Dolk."What is it, big brother?".Big brother!! why are you calling me big brother."Is there a problem if I call you big brother?".No, it's alright."So, for what reason did you call me big brother?".Mr. Alish told me to send you to the magic room."Ooh ok, I'll go right away", saying this Sirelt started running for the magic room.
As Sirelt left Arnold rushed towards the throne room to fill in General Luka that he has dual magic attributes."Is that true?", asked General Luka with a shocked expression. Yup, it's true."What about Militis and Sirelt which attributes do they possess?".Well, Militis has the water attribute and Sirelt just went to the magic room a while ago so her attribute is still unknown."Ooh, ok then congratulations I guess on attaining dual attributes".Sirelt entered the throne room and as she jumped on Arnold's shoulder she started shouting, "I have the holy attribute big brother".That's great now be a good girl and let go of my shoulders."No, don't want to I'll stay like this a little longer".Ok, I guess for a little longer."The holy attribute is pretty hard to be found, if the news of her magic attribute gets out the church will do anything to get her"."I won't go anywhere I'll stay with big brother".Yes you will, I won't let anyone take you away my dearest Mei-mei."Do you promise?".Yes, I promise that you'll always be with me."Okay then, prepare for your dungeon mission and this time Sirelt will go with you".Is it okay to take her after only 5 months of training?."Don't worry she's got the holy attribute she'll be okay"."Okay, if you say so General Luka then I'll take my leave", saying this Arnold left the throne room.
The day after tomorrow Arnold, Militis and Sirelt both were headed towards the dungeon which emerged on the south side of the Anteria region.As they reached the south side of the Anteria region where the dungeon rose up, they noticed various people were entering the dungeon forming squads.No matter what happens try not to get separated both of you."Aye aye, big brother"."I'll stay close too Arnold sama".Okay, then let's enter the dungeon.
As they entered the dungeon they noticed large cracks on the wall of the dungeon and certain red fluids were gushing out as if there was a blood-filled stream inside the walls." I'm scared big brother, said Sirelt with a crying expression".There's no need to be scared I'm here with you, I won't let anything happen to you."Arnold sama maybe we should go back, said Militis with a low voice".I'm here don't be scared both of you, don't forget that we have a mission to complete.
They went deeper inside the dungeon.They were attacked by horn wolf packs.Arnold and Militis both were able to kill them all but the one who killed most of the horn wolf was Sirelt swinging her sword like a heartless steel-made person.They almost reached the sixth floor fighting Lich, Elder Lich and girgesh a fish type monster with four arms.
Arnold and Militis were tired but Sirelt was still full of energy.On the seventh floor, they found a dead-end.Arnold became an ant and went to the other side of the dead-end travelling through a tiny hole on the wall but Militis and Sirelt had to stay on the other side.Arnold told them to stay where they are.Militis and Sirelt both tried to convince him not to go alone but Arnold took the risk of going alone to fulfill the mission assigned to them.
As Arnold was walking the broad passageway of the dungeon he heard a strange screaming sound.He went closer to the source of the sound and found a little boy crying.Arnold approached the boy, he put his hand on the boy's head and asked him how did he end up here." I was here to fetch some rare medicine's but as I went deeper I got stuck here because of a wall at the entrance".Don't worry I'll get you out of here, were you hoping me to say this Impundulu?."Human how did figure out that I was a monster?,said Impundulu with a mighty voice. Let's see, first of all, there's no way a little boy without any weapon can reach the seventh floor because of tough luck and secondly, this dungeon doesn't have any medicine in it."It seems you have done your research but who will save you from me?".Wait!!, let me give you a deal or rather blood for blood." Interesting your the first human to talk about a deal with me, so what's your deal?".I will give you 2 packs of blood instead I'll take one pack of your blood, what do you think?."That's a pretty generous deal but why will I trust you?".The reasons quite simple, the answer to that question is you're ravenous."Ooh, you sure are one odd one, I think I like you".Well, I'm gratified."Let me make a deal why not enter into a pact with me?, what do you say?".Ok, then let's do that.Arnold and Impundulu bonded with each other with a blood pact.Arnold then fed two bags of his blood to Impundulu and instead took a bottle of the blood of Impundulu.
Later, Arnold became an ant and went to the other side of the wall where Militis and Sirelt were hanging around for him.Impundulu became one with Arnold's shadow."We were worried about you Arnold sama".I'm sorry for that but our job is done,I got the blood of the monster."Then let's get out of the dungeon big brother".Yup, let's go.
Arnold, Militis and Sirelt went outside of the dungeon and we're headed to meet with General Luka."Did you find it?" asked General Luka with a slightly nervous expression. Yes, we got what the king needs."Bravo, I knew I could count on you even though I was a bit nervous whether you were going to find it or not".Why does the king need the blood of the monster Impundulu?."Well, it's for the king's wife, legend has it using the blood of Impundulu will help one attain youth for eternity".Ooh, I see.
Thenceforth,Sirelt and Militis went to the training arena and Arnold went inside his room to take a quick nap.
