Unconventional Ways

Levi's eyes widened into shock, he was fast, too fast. He managed to close the gap between them within a second, he hadn't even caught his breath yet from being rooted off his feet by a fan made out of a tail.

The world around them stopped. He could hear anything, he couldn't see anything else. It was just him and Conor, and they were falling, he had no doubt that Conor would land right ontop of him and devour him whole.

He was close enough that Levi could see his own reflection on Conor's eyes. He was even more surprised to see that he was smiling.

Smiling as though a single misstep did not mean certain death, he was enjoying it, the thrill of being so close to death made his dead heart jump into an adrenalised state.

With everything he was feeling Conor was still closing in on him.
