Rivalry Gone Awry

Their first victims were flying serpents. Levi was shadow travelling and surprisingly with just his speed, Conor was able to keep up with him.

One of the serpents was able to bite him through his shadow travelling, even though his body wasn't solid, it was able to bite through smoke which took Levi by surprise but fortunately for him the time in his Hub and those poisonous Sins made him better equipped to deal with some poisons.

He could see one going for Conor's eye and he reacted way too, he wouldn't be able to get out of the way in time. So Levi helped him out, held him down by his head and the serpent passed right above them.

Unfortunately for Conor, Levi couldn't stop his momentum and crashed into the ground with Conor's face as the force of impact.

"I've never done that before, sorry." He laughed nervously.

"You did that on purpose didn't you?" He got up, spitting dirt from his mouth.
