Chapter 3

(3rd POV)

Now it's morning, we can see that our mc is waking up from the activity outside the cave. After waking up he panics a bit and looked confused, but after some time he calms down as calm mind starts to take effect.

(1st POV)

"Good Morning"

I said to no one in particular as I am all alone on this island, well let's find something to clean myself and eat some fruits. Now I think there should be a spring or pond around here where I can clean myself. So, I decided to walk deeper into the forest. After walking for some time I found a lake, so I decided to clean myself there and return to my base. Then I sat down on the floor to eat some fruits and then I went outside to do some training.

As soon as I started doing spear and bow training I noticed that I can't even lift the bow or the polearm properly, much to train with them so I decided that its best to start some physical training along with CQC to make myself stronger.

I decided to remove timings because so many constraints for initial training may not be good.

So, for the physical training part, I did basic Saitama training regime for an hour and tried to do as many as I can. Then for CQC, I did basic kicking and punching exercises to build up my form.

Completing my physical and CQC training, I moved towards polearms training, where I practiced thrusting and piercing in different katas for an hour and also learned the right way to hold polearms. Moving on to the bow training I only performed katas and string-pulling exercises as I haven't made arrows for my bow, but to increase my aiming proficiency I made some wooden targets and started throwing rocks from different places and angles.

Completing this much in the morning I went to the forest to get some fruits to eat. After eating the fruits I went and sit down in crossed legs position to focus on my elemental energy. After two minutes of focus and meditation, I found my elemental energy pool, which is as the system said as big as a pond. For the next three hours, I moved my elemental energy all around my body to get a good grasp on it and some good control of it. I can say that I made good progress in this aspect as I can move my elemental energy to any part of my body within 75 seconds.

After the training finished I decided to take a breather and went for a run. While running I found another shipwreck spot, but this time it was looking like a pirate ship, I cautiously investigated the spot and found no one, so I started scavenging the ship like anything and found a lot of things.I found some compasses, preserved maps, gold, jewelry, three hundred thousand beli, some sharp knives, and other tools. I took all the useful things and kept them in my inventory.

After the short running and looting session I returned to my base and started reading the books on navigation, medicine and cooking in the light provided by the fire.

After that, I ate more fruit and then slept on the rocky floor.

*TIMESKIP-1 WEEK*

I did follow my training plan for a whole week and can proudly say that I am now a beginner in both polearms art and bow arts. My elemental pool doubled over this week and I can smoke my elemental energy to any part of my body in 60 seconds. Also yesterday I finally unlocked my elemental sight, so I started hunting small rabbits and squirrels for the source of meat. In physical training, I can do 1.5 times the Saitama training regime in an hour, and then for CQC I got it to the novice level. Unfortunately, I was not able to make any progress in navigation, cooking, and medicine. I think I should do these exercises for more time precisely three more weeks and I should be able to explore the forest properly.
