Vampire Hunt 4

With Kur's command Alduin roared a might roar that shook the temple. Much like his primal roar be gave once he was created. Even the Wolven howled along with Alduin's roar. Once they finished they charged forward towards their target!

This alerted the undead and the Vampire. Who now had a grim expression. The roar from that beast startled him, but also hinted how powerful it was. He could instantly tell it was in the Nascent realm at least! He knew he would have a hard time fighting it and ordered all his undead to swarm and were whatever the beast was down. He couldn't win in a 1v1 confrontation.

As soon as Alduin and the two Wolven charged Kur and Yimi could feel the ground rumble. Nearly half a million undead were converting on to their position. 

"Are you ready for this Yimi? I'm not sure if I'll be able to save you if things get out of hand." She could tell from his voice that Kur was serious. Although she thought he was more than strong enough to handle this fight, but her. She was worried.

"No need to worry about me" she spoke honestly. "I'll do my best to survive."

Kur remained silent and nodded. Although he did secretly order both his Bigsky's to watch over her. He also made a mental note to create an AOE type Security Minion. His Juggernauts were good, but more mobile artillery pieces than wide spread close quarters combat. He would need a minion with a shotgun or flame thrower. 

His mind began to wonder about new skills of different types of weapons, but he quickly grounded himself. The rumble began to get more intense. Just before the undead arrived he used his new [Gravity Wall] skill and created a barrier behind him. This was to avoid any undead from preforming a pincer attack on Alduin and the two Wolven. Thankfully the [Gravity Wall] only drained .1 mana a second. 

"Yimi we are going to do the same tactic as before. Try and stay away from the gravity wells I make. If any manage to come through you and I will handle them."

"I'll follow your lead then" she said confidently. She's never seen Kur in any melee combat. She figured he was more a caster type, but decided to refrain from judging. 

Before the undead arrived Kur created two instances of [Gravity Condense] skill. This time though he created them on the walls and had them both spin away from them. His plan was to create a revolving door of death. The undead would be caught in the gravity, pulled upwards and shot by the Juggernauts or the Bigsky's and then hair their ashes, or corpses', thrown back to the back of the horde. This would allow a constant flow of undead to be killed and their bodies removed to make space for others to be killed. 

Just as he cast his spells the undead arrived! They climbed over each other as they rushed to kill Kur and Yimi. It looked like a scene from World War Z!

BOOM BOOM BOOM 

ZAP ZAP ZAP

The Juggernauts and Bigsky's opened fire on the unending horde. As they crossed the threshold of the [Gravity Condense] spell they either got picked up by the gravity or were pulled down before spinning in a circle and thrown back! The undead beasts snarled, growled and made any noise they could make. Yimi was incredibly unnerved seeing this sight. She had to swallow her fear and just fight for her life!

Even with the [Gravity Condense] barrier and the minions killing dozens, if not hundreds, of undead in a few seconds there were some managing to get through. Two undead charged at Yimi lunging at her with their claws.

She swiftly dodged the first undead while she struck at the second one. She kept her fingers tightly knit together into a sharp point and stabbed the undead through the head. She quickly pulled her hand back ignoring the brain matter on her hands. As she looked at the first undead she quickly saw that it was already killed by one of the Bigsky's that happened to be near her. She assumed Kur had ordered it to help her. 

She ignored the Bigsky and focused on the fight at hand. More and more undead began to slip through, but she was ready! 

SLICE CRUNCH STAB ZAP

She would use her hands/claws like weapons. Slicing off limbs of the undead before decapitating them. Some times she would out stretch her hand grabbing the undead by the skull and crush their skull completely. Other times she would side step the undead and make two quick jabs. One for the brain and the other for the heart. Every time she dodged an undead by side stepping a Bigsky would shoot a laser beam through the head or heart, almost copying Yimi. 

Kur was having a harder time. He had no real combat experience or even skills that could help. He just throw punch after punch. Many pissed and he began to get swarmed, but when he did connect he noticed his Kur suit was incredibly powerful! The undead would be sent flying over 20ft behind it just from the force of his punch. What startled him the most was his sense of feeling.

He was in a mechanical suit, but could feel when his punch connected. He could feel the cold wet flesh and the crunch of the breaking of bones. Every time he sent an undead beast flying it would collided into another like a truck crashing into a brick wall! It was quite the sight. 

Every second that passed hundreds of undead would be killed, but they were slowly making ground. Both Yimi and Kur slowly began to get swarmed and would have to take a step back. The worst part was when the Juggernauts were swarmed. They would have to direct their rotary guns to attack those close by, further allowing more undead beasts to find a way through the gravity trap.

When this happened Kur and Yimi would have to do their best to make a path towards the Juggernauts to take some heat off of them. It became more a slugfest than a fight! A vicious cycle of having to keep the undead off of the Juggernauts to keep the undead at bay!

It was like a meatgrinder. Both Yimi and Kur had to get closer to one another while fighting to not be swarmed. When Yimi would kill one Kur would cover her and punch another sending it flying away. Yimi did notice how in effective Kur was in fighting hand to hand, like she had originally guessed. That was till she saw a small change in Kur.

Kur was surprised to see he had gained a simple skill like this, but he understood why. He was never a fighter like he has to be here. He was happy to get the skill and quickly noticed a difference. Slowly, but surly he was landing more punches and instead of just breaking their skulls he was completely caving them in! Sometimes even hitting them to hard their head would be shoved into their chest cavity. It was like a fatality from Mortal Kombat!

With his new found strength Kur became more reckless. He allowed himself to take more hits if it meant he could hit more undead. He had spotted some cracks in Yimi's [Iron Bark Skin]. She was slowly bleeding and her attacks were slowing down. She couldn't handle more than 5 minutes of high intensity combat like this. Kur was different as he had a suit that fueled him past his limits. 

If it was Lucas here without his suit he would have been killed long ago. Simply the amount of undead they were fending off was insane. The two fought with all their might. They weren't going to die here. That was the single thought that pushed them. 

Yimi had cracks in her [Iron Bark Skin] as blood trickled out. Any undead that managed to get a taste of her blood went into a frenzy! More and more undead swarmed over Yimi. She began to be surrounded by a dome of undead beasts. Dozens of them clawing, biting and trying to pull her apart. 

"GET OFF ME!" She yelled out. "AHHHHHHHH" she crises out as she the undead hidden behind others managed to grab her by the wrists and pulled her apart.

The Bigsky's that were looking over Yimi were no longer guarding her. Kur ordered them to attack the horde and cover the Juggernauts. But once he heard he screams he acted.

Kur wasn't paying attention to his body, but something happened inside of him. He mana pool was depleting faster and his concentration over the [Gravity Wall] and the [Gravity Condense] had stopped!

The undead washed over them like water! The Juggernauts were completely surrounded and were being torn apart. Sparks and metal were flying in the air. The undead desperately climbed over one another to not only reach Kur and Yimi, but also began to pull the Bigsky's out the air!

Things were not looking good. Yimi had one arm completely ripped off by this point and was screaming in pain even more.

Dozens of undead were fighting over the arm while others were trying to drink any blood found on the ground! She still held on punching, clawing kicking and even biting any undead she could attack! Kur was curdled up with a pile of undead on top of him. They were ripping and tearing parts of his metal suit off. Some of the thinner undead managed to reach in and actually grab or claw Lucas!

Although they would rip flesh off their arm from the jagged broken metal of Kurs suit. They were desperately trying to reach Lucas hidden inside.

Lucas had no idea that he lost concentration over his spells as he fell into a darkness of the mind. He had died once and was only in this new universe for less than a month! He would never die to the undead or become one! He unintentionally did something incredibly stupid. He channeled all his mana to circulate through his body. He could feel the subtle change over his skin and then over his suit. He began to manipulate the atoms around him controlling the gravity around him. 

"GET OFF ME YOU MOTHER F#CKERS!!" Kur had forced the gravity around him upwards pushing all the undead away. He only had a 5 foot radius clear of undead. He raised his arms towards Yimi and as a wave of gravity extended from him the undead were sliced cleaning in half. Yimi finally had some breaking room and looked in shock and horror at Kur. He had pushed himself too far!
