Grand Adventures

While Lucas slaved crafting his new weapon a portal appeared in the middle of an open field. Just as the portal open Alduin appeared and the portal disappeared behind him. He saw a familiar screen in front of his eyes.

[Notice. This is planet Ogro in the Protho System. Your target is Countess Vantrix. She is know as the Dark Queen and runs a slave trade operation from this planet. She lived in a large castle made of Black Marble. She is in the Core Formation realm and has a Liquifying realm body guard. These two are the strongest on the planet. Your task is to eliminate her. You will be rewarded 5 VP for every kill if they are in the Core Formation realm or higher]

"So this is the so called System Master used. Interesting. It's very helpful indeed" Alduin spoke softly. He looked around to get his barring's. To his left he saw a very long mountain range with snow covered tops. To his right was open fields to a large dense forest. To the north he could see more open fields that connected to the rest of the mountain range. And to his south he could see more open fields. 

"Guess I need a better view" he slowly raised his wings as the propellers began to spin. They spun faster and faster as he stretched out his wings. He could feel his body slowly rising into the air. He fueled more power to the propellers and flew up even higher! It took him only a minute to reach 20,000 feet in the air!

With his height advantage Alduin could see much further than before. The mountain range went much further than he thought. From the left side to the north was nothing but mountains. Although he could spot a large stone castle at the top of one of the mountain peaks now. On his right side he only saw an endless field of green. From grassy plains to an enormous forest stretching miles upon miles. 

To the south, that was his destination. Beyond the long open grassy plains he could see a well fortified Black Marble Castle. The Castle itself was build on a large floating platform with a port city underneath it. Once he found his destination he quickly flew towards it. It took him little over an hour to get 1o miles away from the castle. Thanks to the [Awareness] and [Enhanced Sight] runes etched into his body he could see the floating castle and port town more clearly. 

The port town looked very medieval like. The boast in the water were wooden sail boats. The defense around the port was nothing more then a dozen or more cannons. The houses were mainly made of wood while a few more important buildings were made of stone. What really caught his eye was the floating castle. 

It was a large earth platform that had hundreds of large crystals just over so slightly sticking out the bottom. This is how the large land mass could float in the air. The castle itself had a large stone wall around it with ballista's and cannons as defense. Behind the stone walls was his target. Hidden in the Black Marble Castle was Countess Vantrix. 

"It's time I test my strength and ravage this land" Alduin spoke with an eerie grin. Staying a good distance away he moved his body to be perpendicular to the ground. He made sure his chest was facing towards the floating castle before he activated a new skill. 

"[Hell Sun]!" He shouted out loud! The eyes of the dragon skull on his chest lit up in an intense almost neon green color fire. The mouth slowly opened up as an immense amount of energy began to swell in the mouth. A flame quickly grew, same color as the eyes. After only a few seconds the fire began to grow and grow till it barely fit in the dragon skulls mouth. As soon as the fire grazed the teeth of the skull it shot out into the air.

As the fire soared through the air it grew larger and larger. In a blink of an eye the fire was twice the size of Alduin! Once it got closer to the castle walls people began screaming and shouting. Many barking out orders while others readied themselves. Just as the fire ball crossed over the wall a pinkish blue barrier materialized. It was the castles protective barrier.

Many of the soldiers and people living in the castle cheered when they saw the barrier stopping the large fireball, but their cheers turned to screams of distress. For as soon as the large ball of fire was stopped it lit the entire barrier on fire! 

CRACK

The barrier broke like class and quickly melted from the fire. But things didn't end there. The ball of fire continued to move to its destination. Right above the castle! Once it was 200ft above the castle it stopped moving and began to spin rapidly. Bolts of fire shot out attacking the entire castle! The entire castle and floating platform rumbled violently. Alarms started to ring as more and more people screamed and cried. 

Deep inside the Black Marble Castle a woman with pitch black skin, red eyes and even redder hair sat on a literal throne made of skulls. Next to her was a taller man with olive green skin. He had long sliver hair that stretched to his feet, wore a silver mask that hid his facial expression and wore a set of armor made from green dragon scales. 

A human soldier in medieval armor ran into the room. He had a look of panic on his face as he sprinted into the room. He almost fell when he felt the overbearing aura of the tall man stopped him. He dropped to his knees and lowered his head. 

"Your majesty! The castle under attack! The barrier was destroyed and a large ball of fire hangs in the air attacking your subjects." As he spoke the castle rumbled from the attack. 

The woman sat on the throne like nothing was wrong. It was as though she couldn't careless about the situation. She just turned her head to the man standing next to her. "Brawn can you handle this? It must be another group of trouble makers here to save a family member."

The man said nothing, but nodded his head. He knew what his master did to cause this many people to hate her, but he didn't care. She saved him as a child and owed her his life. He was only alive and in the Liquifying Realm thanks to her. Following his masters orders he left the throne room and exited the castle. What awaited him shook him to his core.

Before him, flying in the air, was a mechanical wyvern that was only a hundred or so feet away from the castle! It was already inside the walls. Even the maned defenses showed no sign of injuring the creature as it took on every attack head on. He watched in disbelief as giant bolts and cannon balls hit the wyvern only to bounce off. Not so much as a scratch landed on the beast. 

While he was being attacked Alduin searched the area for his target. There were hundreds of people with a similar soul fire like his master. He knew they were in the Foundation Realm. There were others with different soul fires. If the fire was fully solid or coming closer to it he knew they were in the Solidifying and Core Formation realms. But the man that stood before him was different. 

His soul fire almost seemed to be in a liquid state in his body. It wasn't fully flowing through, but it was close. This man was in the Liquifying realm and actually close to becoming a Nascent Realm cultivator. Alduin thought it was a pity his life would end here. Though his job was to kill this man and the Countess. 

"Are you the Countess's body guard?" Alduin spoke coldly. The man just nodded his head before 2 magical circles appeared under him. One was green and the other was red. The green circle changed the shape of the man from humanoid into a Dragonoid. His body size grew till he was 10ft tall. He had 4 large green dragon wings, his head was that of a dragon, yet the rest of his body remained human expect for his armor he wore became a part of him. 

The red magic circle made him stronger. Before he had a very athletic build, but the magic reshaped his body into that of a body builder! His muscles bulged at the seems. He looked as though his now scaly skin couldn't contain his power. He quickly kicked off the ground and was soaring in the air to attack Alduin!

Seeing this many guards and civilians of the castle began to cheer. 

"Slay the dragon Lord Mov!"

"Kill it like that Green Dragon!"

"Lord Mov is here to save us all!"

"We're saved!"

"Thank the gods he's here! I was just about to retire!"

Just as Mov was only a few feet away from punching Alduin his body stopped moving. He jerked back by something that stopped him. He looked down to see an enormous tail had pierced his body. He coughed up blood as he gripped the tail, trying his best to pull it out. He slowly looked up at Alduin with fury in his eyes. 

"You're too weak" Alduin said in a low voice. "May your soul be reincarnated for a better life. [Hell Canon]"

Everyone watched in horror. Their savior was killed in an instant. The stinger of the beast had pierced through Mov's tough scaled skin. Their expressions turned from horror to pure terror as they watched the skull on the wyverns chest slowly open. Even those who were non-cultivators could feel the immense power building in the skulls mouth. A second later a neon green energy beam shot out from the chest!

Mov was rendered to ash. He didn't feel anything. One moment he was alive in pain, the next he was ash. Though the energy bean didn't stop there. It flew forward into the center of the Black Marble Castle, through the throne room and through the bottom of the floating land. Countess Vantrix was disintegrated in an instant. She literally didn't know what hit her. 

The energy beam stopped when it hit the ground of the planet. Part of the port city underneath was also destroyed from the single attack. Many people were frozen in fear. They were thinking this mechanical beast would kill them next. But their worries were unfounded when the beast spoke.

"I have destroyed this land and killed the ruler, Countess Vantrix, in the name of my master, Kur. Kur the Mastermind! Spread his name in worship of my master!" Just as he finished speaking a portal opened up sucking him inside and vanished. 

That wasn't an end to the peoples plight! The floating land of the castle was rendered inoperable. It slowly began to fall from the sky and onto the port city. Hundred of thousands of people began to scream in terror as chaos broke out. They were all going to die! People began to show their true colors. With the every looming threat of death people began to fight each other over the most insignificant issues. 

Stores were looted. People were killed by the hands of who they thought were friends. The smart ones grabbed their families and fled as far and as fast as they could. Some even tried looting all they could before they left. Though the one thing that remained in everyone's mind, was the monsters words. They might be dying here, but many who could flee would spread the word of the dragon and its master, Kur. He was the one to kill them. 

The world almost seemed to go silent as the floating land crashed into the port city. Nearly a million people were killed in that one instant. All by the hands of Alduin. This one instant would spark many battles in the future.
