Ash died and in rewarded for all his good deeds in life so, he decides to be reborn in the DC universe. I do not own DC or any of its characters. I own only Ash and my other OC's.
I find myself in a seemingly endless white space as I wake up. Where is this? How did I get here? As I was trying to remember, I hear a voice.
[ Hello Ash and welcome to the afterlife. Most people don't get to speak with me, the Judgement System, but you have amassed a ludicrous amount of karma.]
"The afterlife but that means I died. I don't remember dying. The last thing I remember doing is getting on the bus to bring food to the orphanage," I think to myself.
[Most souls can't remember how they died as it is usually a traumatic experience, and yes, I can read your mind. But, you shouldn't try too hard you will remember when you're ready.]

My mouth hangs open as I take it all in. Hale was one of the orphans I took care of at the orphanage and, Ada was my neighbor in high school who I walked home from school with until she moved away. I closed my mouth, happy I had a positive impact on them.

After it said all that, everything went black. A few minutes later, my head felt like it was being crushed when suddenly I am blinded by the light.

Hearing the voice, I realize that I was just born. After a few seconds, I feel a sharp pain on my butt. I cry out at the sudden pain. Then, I see a blurry woman cradle me in her arms. Cradled in her arms, I feel an emotion I have not felt since my mother died, motherly love.
"Hello little one, your names gonna be Ash. Awww you're so adorable," the woman says affectionately.
