For over an hour, Maverick walked her through his plans. He spoke briefly about the series of events that would take place, eventually leading to the action over London, but most of the discussion focused on that last part. After all, to her, the important thing was what countermeasures were in place so that no innocent lives would be at risk.

Actually, majority of louvre stuff are also stolen from around the world just like UK
I also used this chance to start getting rid of my hot merchandise. To do this, I apparated to Greece under a disguise and made a trip to the Louvre via an invisible flight on my magic broom. I wanted to donate all the stolen artwork. I could likely find some buyers, but it was honestly more hassle than it was worth. And at least in the Louvre, I could have the artwork displayed to the world. All of the donations were anonymous, and it cleared out some of my inventory. Even if the criminals I stole from find out the Louvre has them, it will be basically impossible to retrieve them without stealing them. And while some might take that risk, most will be more focused on finding out who donated them.

For instance, I knew that my great-grandpa was famous for paying a literal fortune evacuating people from Germany during World War II. So much so that our family was fondly looked upon by the Jewish people of America. Including a certain Erik Lehnsherr, or more commonly known as Magneto. I know this because I have memories of him showing up for Stanford's funeral. He even gave me his card and told me that if I needed anything, I could call.
