MC is needlessly evil. He kills Violet when her fruit isn't even needed for his safety, he could have easily got another fruit from a actually evil person, like he did with Blueno and it would have helped him just as much, like Enel's fruit. And it shows he has no moral compass, no bottom line. And someone like that is just a cheap villain.
