"Sea stone prism," Joshua thought as he looked on the blade in Carl's hand. Yes the blade is made of sea stone minerals and due to this his black flames which were on Carl blade became weaker .

"It seems the navy is prepared," he added even though Joshua now this makes the second time Joshua has come in contact with sea stone the first timw was with Joe but he died before he got to use it. However ,the ones in Carl sword his much more richer and powerful in contrast to the one Joshua got from Joe .

"Even though the flames is weaken, I do not totally rely on my fruit powers," Joshua sneerad as he watched Carl jumped back.

Carl looked on Joshua with intense murderous intent in a direct clash of powers he lost to a pirate which made him loose face and shame in his heart can only he watched away with chaos's head. With that thought the aura around him became more violent and the pebble near him vibrated continuously until it levitated a little of the ground. He gripped his sword made a stands and intense light radiated from the blade causing persons to squint there eyes.

Even though the he dodged the blades the attack did not stop there they turn around an ran back straight to Joshua . In the same breath Carl stamped his foot it the ground and shoot straight to Joshua as well not wanting to give Joshua a chance to breath . He gripped the sword and an intense light shone and swang down to Joshua's head.

The onslaught came at Joshua like a raging lightning bolt giving him no chance to breath even so Joshua didn't panic he released his blade and let in stick into earth.

Yes Joshua was currently holding the blade in his hand in his palm was just a slight scratch which can be seen that no damage was taken.

He wanted to retract his sword to defend but joshua gripped it tightly leaving him no way to withdraw it back .

Joshua hit Carl in the stomach with both his physical strength and fruit power, the power behind it caused carl face to be distorted as flew out fiercely in the distance. Joshua didn't have any time to listen to the shocked persons around as he immediatedly blasted off to Carl who was the flying in the distance . Carl who was blasted in a distance was forced to spit blood the power behind the fist was astonishing and the horrible flames kept burning his body.

Carl face was really gloomy Joshua strength is really strong if he can't finish such a little person here, I'm afraid he can't lift his head in the navy branches. With that thought he flipped two times in the air then stabbed in sword in the earth wanting to regain balance . Carl looked at Joshua with blood shot and strong murderous intent because he was injured, even though it was somewhat light he was still injured which caused him to hate Joshua even more.

The battle continued as powerful blows were exchanged causing the winds the be unrest and the area where they fought had only soil left. Because of the powerful aftermath everyone had to retreat to a safe distance not wanting to accidently die in the powerful confrontation. The scale of the battle already shocked them countless times.

"I'm going to kill you," Carl coldly shouted
