24 Chapter 20

Alex,Kimberly and Billy got along with Jason and Trini,While Zack was acting like he is a rebel and too cool too hang out with them.

Alex was in class now with Billy,Kimberly and Trini.All three had some bruises on their face it had become common for them.

We all gathered in one place during the Lunch time,

Alex steps from the kitchen area carrying a tray, scans the crowded room, finds Billy seated at a table with Trini.Alex approaches and sat next Billy

as Kimberly sat next to Alex leaning a bit to him their relationship was flourishing.Billy and Trini sat opposite side of the table.Trini rolled her eyes and said"Can we stop with lovey dovey stuff."

Kimberly just smiled at her,quickly giving Alex a peck on the lip and asked"Where is Zack and Jason?"

Trini gave Kimberly a mock glare and said"I don't know where the idiot is,he rarely comes to school."

Billy added"I saw Jason watching the Football team."

Alex was eating his lunch and thought"So Zack is not connecting with anyone and Jason is still stuck about his past mistakes."

Kimberly asked"They are going to be their today right?"

Billy nodded and replied"Yeah,they will be their on time."

Once after Alpha taught the group except Alex on how to do a back throw.Alpha seeing Zack and Jason getting their ass handed them when multiple Putties attacked them,which was something Alex adviced since he doubted Putties would wait for them in one on one.As Alpha sighed and asked"You guys all know you can be murdered, right?"

Zack was still having hard time getting that part simply replied"No."

Alex knew out of everyone,Zack was the only one who was taking it lightly.Alex couldn't force him to do better,after all that wouldn't provide the desired result.

Everyone was getting serious Trini was the fastest and she had prior experience martial arts,Kimberly was the most flexible fighter,Billy due to being autistic has focus and concentration is a bit different than a neuro-typical person's. When engaging in any single task, Billy can block out almost all external stimuli and process information linearly at an intensity.

Jason because of his natural athleticism made him able adapt on the fly to whatever obstacle he encounters.

Then their is Zack who was not giving it his all,he was taking everything too half hearted.While others are progressing Zack is stuck the reason is still unknown.

Everyone was drinking water hydrating themselves,as Alpha spoke up"Now let's Play with some energy now!"

Alex got up and started following Alpha,as Kimberly,Billy,Jason,Trini and Zack slowly got with groan started following back to Zordon's main room.

All of them once again stood in their respective footprint around the glowing sun like sphere.Once again they concentrated as he sphere began to glow and spin at great speed.

Alex yelled"Focus! focus everybody just focus!"

Zordon's voice echoed"You must shed your own mask to wear this armor."

Billy spoke up"I don't feel anything!"

Zordon once again explained"Think only of each other and the morphing grid will open to you."

Kimberly felt a small link,but it wasn't much,as she questioned"It's working?"

Just then the whole sphere dimmed and stopped spinning.Trini groaned and replied"No, it's not."

Alex sighed and said"Come on! we can try again. later"

Zack with shrug said"All we need to do is just concentrate..."

Jason was annoyed yelled"Don't tell me to concentrate."

Zack ignoring that continued"Just follow my lead."

Billy tried Let's not fight with each other,but they just continued arguing as Alex had enough yelled"Enough."His voice thundered and echoed in the room,as Alex glaring at Jason and Zack said"Did you forget what is at stake?"

Jason nodded,Zack was a rebel,but he reluctantly stepped back as Alex continued"Now is not the time arguing with each other we will call it a day for now and come back tomorrow."

Alex looking at everyone said"We will have put away so called masks sooner or later,if we do not connect with Morphing Grid everything we know is gone.This was kinda expected after all."

What Alex didn't know was Zack zoned him out,which would come to bite Zack later.
