Chapter 1: New beginning

*Alex POV:

It was a Dark night in New York, I was walking back home after a long Sunday with my friends, I heard a noise coming from a corner in the streets, I can assure that people heard it too, but they probably didn't want to interfere.

I walked through there secretly, they were three guys facing one injured guy laying on the street full of blood, I recognised one of them, he was the billionaire San Miano the known friend of a politican,but I was stupid enough to go and defend him while I wasn't even worthy.

"Stop that I am gonna call the police"_I said.

The guys were surprised as I stood before the injured guy, and then San Miano smiled.

"What a brave guy, what do you think Luthor? It is a good chance to prove your loyalty, you know what you gotta do".

I was surprised then I looked behind to be surprises that I was stopped by a knife, I fell on the ground full of blood, I felt like it was cold I didn't wanna beg for my life, I am not that pathetic, I didn't feel fear I felt betrayed, in fact I was angry, is that what I get for trying to save a life?

"You didn't finish the job yet"_San Marino said while smiling.

I was angry, it the whole life I lived to dies as a test for someone?

He then jumped in me and started stabbing me again and again and again, I lost feeling in my body at sometime, people were looking at us like it is a casual thing, I was angry very angry not only on him, it was in me because I was stupid enough to interfere, because I was very weak and I became a shame, do you know how embarrassing is it for people to look at you with pity? I hated myself more than I hated him, I didn't want my life to end like that, I still tried very hard to gain consciousness, I finally regained my sight back, I want to not waste any chance, exactly when he saw that San Marino stabbed my head.

"Good job, you are hired"_ he said to the injured guy with a mile, who himself smiled back and shook his hand.

I was angry, I promised myself:"if I had another chance I would kill every single one of you" I was never close to that angry before, never ever fetl that bloodlusty, then I totally lost my consciousness and I fell as a dead body.

At that instance exactly, I opened my eyes, I was feeling really cold, inside a small cabin I think, i looked at my body, I was barely able move my hands and legs but I was able to show expressions, they were short like of new born, then I figured out, I am that newborn, I was really surprised, I didn't care why but how? Since I read a lot about Reincarnation stories I was quick to get used to it, but why am I a newborn? Why am I alone? Where are my parents? These where the kinf of questions I had in my mind, I was very hungry, I tried to move to look where I was, but I couldn't walk, I couldn't even crawl, then I stayed in my place waiting for help while questioning, "was I reincarnated in another world?or is it my original world?"

That all I had to do since I couldn't do anything other than thinking I was like that for mostly a day, I felt the same feeling I had before dying, like loosing consciousness I knew I wouldn't make it for another day if I wasn't helped, but what can I do?

At that exact moment the door was broken, a lot of men entered through the door wearing a white shirt, and a hat that had the word "Marine" in it, and all of them holding guns, and they made a passage after the door, then he entered, it was a very tall muscular man around 2.70 matters or 9'1", he had an afro hair and a long beard in the form of a ponytail, and a Cape where it is written "Admiral", it was non other than Sengoku.

"Is that all you found here?"_Sengoku said with a normal face.

"We only found a baby here alone"_The marine soldier said.

*Sengoku POV:

I saw that little kid, I grapped him, it was maybe the first time I grab such a small creature, he was smaller than my hands, I felt a certain relation of fate with him.

But why is he there alone? So that what was the emergency call about?looks like they couldn't leave him here alone.

The kid suddenly started crying, I ordered one of my soldiers to go get something for, him on the way to the ship.

I took him on my hands personally I gave him the milk, it was the first time I felt that feeling, being a father, the baby started laughing after what made me really happy too, that was my goal when I entered the marine, to make a place where all kids can live happily without worrying or being killed or left without parents, at that time I decided, I am gonna raise him of my own as my kid.

*Alex POV:

I was really happy, not just I was reincarnated in the place I knew and liked the most, but I was found by one of the top powers,I did mu best to be lovely so he can take me on his own, when the soldiers tried grabbing me I was crying and when he did I became happy, I knew he was the type of men who would act though outside but is really nice in reality as Garp said many times that Sengoku would be jealous of him having grandsons like Ace and Luffy, I understood from his expressions that he liked me.

"From today on, your name will be Ray, I will make sure you grow to be a nice marine soldier to help other too"_Sengoku said with a smile on his face.

I was happy with the name, but I don't think I will surely be a marine anyway.

"Let's head back to the marineford"_Sengoku ordered the soldiers.

Then we entered the ship and head to the marine base.
