Though he lucked out, as in order to enroll at Celestial Star, one needs the minimum of a Bronze Bloodline.

Even in this life, he lived a mediocre life; just this time, it's real and not just a veil.

Bloodlines determine potential.

There are five types of bloodlines, which are as follows: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.

A person with a diamond and platinum bloodline will find it easier to reach an 8-star rank than the others.

In contrast, a gold bloodline can help you get a 7-star rank quickly, but reaching 8 stars or above seems nearly impossible and will only depend on your hard work and foundation, which will be very helpful in the higher Rank.

Though the real reason why higher bloodlines are sought after is that the higher origins will have a strong bloodline ability or attribute corresponding to their family; for example, in a family with fire attributes, a person with golden blood will have higher efficiency in controlling the fire, and his firepower will deal much more damage than a person with a silver bloodline.

Although having a good bloodline doesn't always guarantee an ability, it still gives you a lot of potential to become stronger quickly than people with lower bloodlines.

There is a way to upgrade your bloodline.

But it is introduced in the latter part of the novel when the protagonist, having a golden bloodline, will upgrade to platinum and then to diamond; still, with the platinum bloodline, there will be no obstacle for him to reach an 8-star rank.

'While I am 1-star with a low bloodline, I don't think I can visit dungeons, as now, with my abilities, I would just welcome my death.' Nico snickered.

Looking at his phone, he saw it was barely 8 AM, Tuesday, May 2110.

There was one low-tier healing potion that his parents gave him before his journey.

Then a pair of glasses.

Nico ignored the potion as he intently looked at the glasses.

'Primordial Glasses.' Nico thought for a few seconds before picking them up.

'Seriously, how did he even possess something like this...' Nico shook his head as he recalled his new family.

His father is a 4-star rank warrior and a small mercenary group member, while his mother is a 3-star in Rank.

After giving birth to him, they retired from their jobs, settled down on the land they had on the outskirts of the Capital, and earned their living through farming.

They were not poor as commoners and made a decent living.

So there is no possible way he should have this; it was simply illogical.

He took them off and saw his face changing.

He shook his head before putting them back on as his face turned average again.

Nico then took the potion with him and a backpack he found in the closet before leaving.

Nico took a deep breath of the fresh as he stepped outside. The air was purer and healthier, and Nico felt a sense of alleviation wash over him.

In this new world, the air was clean and crisp.

The air was so clean because of the advanced technology, and mana had been used to make pollution disappear.

Mana was a powerful energy source discovered in this new world, and it had been used to create a barrier that blocked out the pollutants from the air. At the same time, the technology had been used to create a system of filters that removed the toxins from the air, leaving it clean and pure.

Nico was amazed at how much better he felt in this new world. He had never felt so healthy and energized before. He was able to breathe easier, and his lungs felt stronger.

He was also able to think more clearly, and his mood improved.

He could also smell the sweet scent of flowers and the earthy aroma of the trees.

Nico walked out on the streets, trying to familiarise himself with the road. His first goal was to buy a sword to protect himself.

The hunting ground he chose was Creek Forest, located in the north, which held some G-rank beasts he could kill.

So he needed a weapon since he had none.

As he looked around, Nico noticed the average looks of the people here were way better than in his world.

Even if you ask someone to pick a random lady on the street, they will score that girl 70 out of 100.

He figured beauty standards rose due to the air surrounding everyone and better nutrition.

Nico stopped focusing on the people as he looked for a weapons store.

Blacksmiths can make weapons or be found in dungeons and sold in shops.

Weapons found or dropped by monsters are types of artifacts.

Wandering around for a few minutes, he finally found a weapon store.

Although the store looked a bit shabby, he couldn't complain.

He opened the door and walked inside.

"Creaaak..."

The door creaked as he opened it, indicating a new customer had appeared.

A bulky middle-aged man, who seemed to be in his 40s, looked at Nico while cleaning a sword at the counter.

His gaze was as sharp as a knife.

Though his gaze didn't affect Nico, he gazed around the Shop before looking back at the man.

"You have a sword for less than 6000 Credits?" Nico spoke, his voice cold and distant.

The man nodded as he picked three swords from the display and showed them.

"I have only three swords according to your budget."

Nico took the first sword, which was slightly curved; it was a short sword with a beautiful Damascus pattern but a bit too light.

The second sword was somewhat heavy. He thought it was too much as he was never physically strong, even in his past life.

The third sword's blade was black. It was long, and the grip was comfortable as Nico examined it closely.

The system appeared before him once more.

Nico held it as he played with it; the length was perfect, and the weight wasn't too light or heavy.

Looking at the man with his indifferent face, he spoke, "How much?"

"For that one, 5800 Credits."

Nico nodded before buying a dagger as a backup weapon, some health kits, and a few other things.

6200 Credits was the amount of money left after everything.

Once people enroll in the academy, except for the enrollment fee, they don't have to spend money; everything inside the academy is free.

Unfortunately, the academy wasn't open yet.

Nico checked everything as he went to the station to get on the train to the Creek Forest.

The station looked packed, and people were moving with the small pad that got on entering the station.

You can use it to move fast with comfort if you are lazy. The shape of the train doesn't look much different from the bullet trains he saw in his previous life, except it has thrusters instead of wheels which help the train stabilize in the air.

The interior was nice and cozy, and the seat was much softer and spacious, with some soda and energy bars at the side.

Sitting down, Nico stared at rows of trains passing through the window.

The doors closed, and the train started moving.

Although it kept a speed of almost 150-200km/hr, his seat felt steady with no shaking movement.

The three human kingdoms were much more significant, even if put together with the 7 continents on earth.

Creek Forest which was located around Forest City, was approximately 450 km away from the Capital at the Northern border of the Pheonix Kingdom.

He took out the bar from the corner of the seat, admiring the green and beautiful scenery out of the window.

His gaze became unfocused as he became lost in thoughts.
