The trial was really easy to finish. He didn't even use the two treasures in the chambers. Although his beasts were only bronze ranked and only one Silver rank they were able to put a great fight with the chimera. In the end, they still needed Xiao Wen Li to help them but they did a good job either way.

Like in the novel the Chimera after being drafted it teleported away and left behind a golden bell.

While his beasts were Yue Yang entered the two chambers and took the Blinding runes and the silencing scepter. He gave the golden bell to the barbarian shadow cow and put away the other two for his studies when he will receive his mother knowledge about runes and other things. It was only a matter of time until he received them since his divine vision was already at level 3 and he could already read some information on the diary.

After taking all the corpse of the beasts he went to the secret room to receive his reward. He hoped for it to be better than the original since his beasts completed the trial more efficiently and quicker.

After he entered the room he immediately put his crystal card in the statue. A light then descended upon all his beast. When the light faded he looked into his grimoire and saw that all the beast that participated in the fight except Xiao Wen Li, leveled up by one, the barbarian shadow cow and the hell wolf also received low sentience. As for his other beasts that already have low sentience although their sentience level hasn't leveled it was still increased.

Xiao Wen Li, on the other hand, has already high sentience and level so the reward didn't have much effect on her but it still increased her aura. She was on the verge of a level up. If she fought in a battle or two she may level up and become diamond ranked level 2.

After taking the crystal card from the statue he went to the room where the cauldron was to test his luck since he has some time before going out. He has many golds maybe he would find things interesting.

After this battle, he saw how useful the shadow possession really was. If he had used on his beasts earlier they wouldn't have been injured so much. Only the half entity barbarian shadow and Xiao Wen Li were uninjured after the battle. The latter because of her formidable strength and the former because she was only a half entity so the injuries healed quicker and she wasn't able to sense the pain of her injuries.

So he decided to use it on them after going out of here. They were already exhausted so they couldn't continue and he also didn't want to use the possession in them when they were still exhausted.

The possession didn't take much time since the hell wolf was willing and after 10 minutes it was completed. He was excited to see how she will transform.

Still worried and excited at the same time he began walking toward her. He also summoned the grimoire and could see that the page that contained her information was now blank while on the Phantom shadow's page a piece of new information appeared.
