Reincarnated in a novel as a maid

Adam was a normal teenager, except for his exceptional attractiveness. He was kind, helpful, and enjoyed reading fantasy novels. One day, while out for a walk, he saw a vehicle speeding towards an elderly man. After a moment of internal struggle, Adam decided to help the man from the speeding vehicle, ultimately losing his own life. However he reincarnated in a fantasy world. Upon reincarnation, Adam discovers that he has been reborn as a girl in a novel he had read, but has been captured and sold into slavery. To his surprise, he learns that he is a mixed blood, with half of his blood belonging to a succubus and the other half a mystery. Even more extraordinary is the fact that he possesses not one, but three auras, all of which are mythical and unknown to many in this world, where people are only born with a single aura. Adam is purchased by a beautiful lady and sent to serve her daughter, who just so happens to be one of the main villains in the novel. But why does the villainess seem to know about the future? Chapter 30

Chapter 30

If it was someone else, I could still be all right but she was going to be my future roommate who will be sharing the same room as me till I graduate, and more than that she was the best candidate to be my best friend… there's no way I am going to let it be.

I might sound obsessed with getting a friend but this is what it is. I desperately sought a true companion.

They were unhappy I stopped them but I ordered them to leave and not interfere with her anymore in the future.

I doubt they would, considering how much respect they have and hate for halflings.

But they should be at bay since they won't brazenly disobey me and if they did it, I won't mind using force to make them realize.

-------------

Days soon passed by as time for classes drew near.

Most of the students have already settled in their dorms.

I found Freya had already found herself an underling,

She was paired with a human noble girl, the daughter of a count and one of her many future lackeys.

The heroine of light and Caroline were paired up as roommates as I found out.

Today will be the day, our first class will be.

I was assigned to Class A.

There were classes from E to A, A being the best of them, and there was this S class in the novel which will be introduced and formed later after a test comprising of the best of the best even among the first-year students.

"Hey, Ellis! Let's go to class together."

The elven princess aka Kris called out to me

I was getting frustrated over the past few days living with her.

The more I tried to avoid her, the more she tried to intervene.

I tried to talk less and stayed in my room cooped up most of the time but it didn't matter as she started intervening in my personal space.

She seemed obsessed with befriending me.

I get that she is awkward and was desperate for a friend but invading my personal space is getting irritating.

I didn't cut her off either since I made small talk from time to time but it seemed to me that she thinks I am upset with her due to the actions of her subordinates and have been trying to make it up to me.

I told her that I am not upset but this stubborn head heroine doesn't believe me,

I still let it go as I knew classes will be starting soon and she will soon be having lots of interactions and eventually meet her destined heroine.

Knock Knock

"Ellis, are you ready to go? We might get late on our first day if you don't hurry up"

Ending my inner monologue, I opened the door and Kris and I arrived at the building where first-year classes were held. The building was constructed from Aura stone, a unique material found in areas with high aura concentrations. Aura stone has the ability to disrupt the flow of aura, making it an effective measure for preventing first-year students, who are not yet skilled in controlling their aura, from using it inside the building.

We were dressed in the academy uniform for first-year students. The academy uniform for first-year female students was a sight to behold. The black shirt, adorned with golden patterns and subtle aura enchantments, hugged the curves of their bodies in all the right places. The matching black skirt stretched tightly over full hips and toned thighs leaving little to the imagination. To avoid any accidental glimpses of what lay beneath, the students donned sheer, form-fitting stockings that clung to their legs like a second skin. The shirt had two buttons at the top and bottom and a golden lining on both wrists, signifying that we were first-year students. The matching black skirt, which was stretched tight over my hips, was revealing more than I would have liked. To avoid any embarrassing accidents, I wore additional stockings that clung tightly to my thighs and legs.

As I walked alongside Kris, I couldn't help but notice the many eyes that were drawn to us. After all, Kris was the elven crown princess. The stares made me feel uncomfortable and even a little fearful, reminding me of the day I was auctioned off. I could see in the eyes of those around me that they were contemplating whether approaching me would be worth it in order to get closer to the princess.

Haha….

Kris didn't mind them at all, probably being used to it by now.

We both reached our class A, sign on the door indicated it was Class A.

The interior of the classroom was spacious, with rows of seats curved towards the board at the front of the room. The seats were sleek and well-maintained, giving the room a grand and polished feel. The board at the front of the room was large and pristine, ready for the day's lessons to be written upon it.

Just like the lecture halls.

Freya was in the same class, staring daggers at me as I entered.

She was staring at Kris with gloomy eyes as well and eyeing her body.

Freya, the noble girl, sat with poise and grace at the middle back of the classroom, surrounded by her two loyal followers. Despite their average appearances, their presence alone was enough to intimidate the other students. The tension between demons and humans was at an all-time high, and Freya knew that humans would look down upon her if they saw her sitting with a lowly demon like me. So, she chose to distance herself from me, a decision that I was more than happy to oblige. I took a seat as far away from Freya as possible, relieved to have some space between us.

The class soon started as a teacher entered the room.

The teacher was one of the important characters in the novel.

She was a tall woman, standing at over six feet tall with a stunning hourglass figure. Her chestnut hair flowed down her back, reaching her lower back, and her brown eyes seemed to sparkle with intelligence. As she surveyed the classroom, a thin smile graced her lips, and it was clear that the boys in the room were enamored with her. In the novel, she was a highly skilled sword master, chosen by the academy to teach and nurture Class A.
