Chapter 9: Game Company
[Venom POV]
After getting home and setting up all the computers, I then start comparing the performances of each since I do have the best and the worst. I try to determine the middle to average out the specs that are probably owned by most users.
Oddly enough, while entertainment has not developed very much, the personal use computers are in fact quite satisfactory. The low spec one they offered was at least equivalent to a high end gaming laptop in my world. And the High end one here would be extremely expensive in mine. It does make sense considering how many villains would pop up in a few months later that have seriously questionable technology.
If the computers are this high, I wouldn't have problems running full 3d games. After all that, I decided to pack up the other computers and just leave the high spec laptop unpacked for my use. The rest I put back in my car. I might randomly give it away later.
With the laptop, I search the internet for books, movies, games and show titles that were from my past life just in case. Nothing even comes close. It's like going back in time when people first started making movies or games or novels but they already have high tech stuff. It's a rather funny situation to be honest.
But this means I can use this to my advantage. I can recreate stuff from my old world here. Just thinking about it makes me really excited.
Sure I'm in a venom symbiote body now, but I was in fact human previously so that's not something I can simply forget. My hobbies and interests are still very much aligned with my previous human life.
By the time i knew it, Lunch time. Alfred came and simply mentioned lunch is ready and that we had people already negotiating for the game dev companies. We would probably hear from them tomorrow so for now, all I can do is wait and research the internet. I search and search to check if there are similarities or already existing ones to the titles I'm planning. Even if its something similar, I would try to look at it but there's really nothing. This gives me hope.

I sit at the dinning area and Alfred comes in with the food.
"Dinner is served Master Venom. I am also pleased to announce that the negotiations were in fact, finished early and we have successfully bought one....Square soft incorporated. As they are based in Japan, we would either need to send someone there or do the meetings online via video conference calls."
*Cough* *Cough* I choke on my drink for a bit. "T-that's good news Alfred!" I can't believe there's a Square soft equivalent here and they have yet to merge with Enix. This immediately reminded me of my all time favorite Xenogears. Maybe as a warm-up of sorts, I can have them recreate that game in this world using my memories and direction. But obviously this time, I would complete the game with the same quality to disc 2. Also since this world's game graphics are around this much, it shouldn't be too out of place. While there is no Playstation here for some reason, I might as well have it run through PC but also sell a peripheral Controller for the game.
While I was busy thinking of what delightful things to do with that new company, Alfred suddenly asks me a few things.
"Master Venom, If I may ask, will Master Bruce really have enough rest for his...nightly activities if you are running around during the day?"
"Of course! Don't worry Alfred, he's able to properly get some sleep. The energy used by this body is mine so he'll wake up very refreshed. And since we do technically eat during my active hours, and he will most likely eat his normal intake during his shift as well, aside from the double food intake, there aren't any problems!"
"Very well Sir." He sighs relieved.
"Oh and by the way, can you maybe find another butler or something for my hours? It would be very hard on you to serve us both since it might seem like we practically don't sleep as one being now. Maybe someone trustworthy that can take over for you when you sleep so you can be there for Bruce?
On second thought, technically, I only need a cook for my meals anyway. Any finance related stuff I can simply wait for you to wake up. And this shouldn't be quite often since I would be focusing on this game company for now. So I suppose just getting me a chef would do fine."
"Understood Sir."
After Alfred responds, he goes back to the kitchen. I'm assuming he might be preparing meals and snacks for Bruce later.
Come to think of it, this is also my first night with Batsy so I might not get some sleep at all. I have to get him used to my symbiote abilities after all.
After eating, head to the batcave then simply wait.
Entering the mindscape Wayne Manor, I head to the living room where I happen to come across Batsy walking down from his room. I got here just in time as he was waking up.
"You're up bats! Since this is our first night with me as a passenger, I'm going let you get used to this first before I actually start retreating to my room to get some rest. So think of me as a back seat driver haha." I chuckled
