Chapter 48: Spider-man script

I'm currently in my office at Vgames. The time dilation for the DCU offices haven't been applied just yet since the calculations would take a while. Right now I intend to make an initial script for my version of Spider-man. The thing is, I like some parts of the films so its not one particular version that I want to recreate. So I intend to merge all three film versions and make my alterations.

First, the MCU version was initially based off the Ultimate Spider-man comic series as a concept anyway. So they made him younger and still in high school which was understandable. But it all got weird because he was still a kid when civil war happened when in the comics, he was already a full adult.

I like the student Peter but not till the end. I want to make him high school age in the first film and Starting College by the second film. Next, I also want him to be the first hero in my MCU as a long time Spidey fan. Probably why I reincarnated as a symbiote in the first place for all I know.

The intro for Raimi trilogy was pretty good except I don't want it to be centered on MJ. In my opinion MJ was too shallow anyway. At least in the Raimi films. So I completely change it out. Also, there's too much dark stuff happening to Peter so I decide to remove some of its tragedies as I see fit. I got your back Peter.

So the start would be showing Peter as a bullied kid, typical of a highschool hell. Then just show the Spidey girls in the background like an easter egg of sorts. They are just there but not the center of focus. It's going to be all about his origin. They can have a scene or two but not be the center of attention. So the school trip still happens, but I decide to make it a little closer to comic book versions so its going to be a radioactive spider from Otto Octavius science experiment live demonstration and it bites Peter in the hand. 

Peter gets home feeling sick. While Peter sleeps, I set a flashback here of Peter's parents leaving him on his Aunt and Uncles house as they are murdered just like the Amazing Spider-man storyline. I show a quick preview of the Web of Life and Destiny across the multiverse through CG vision and cuts immediately to Peter's close up on his eyes waking up.

As Peter heads to school, I insert a cameo for Kingpin inside a limo, in a hurry and ignores young Peter so he was almost run over. But his Spider-sense activates and he jumps and attaches to a building. Kingpin's limo ignores the almost run over kid and does not even notice him. While Peter discovers his abilities as he climbs to the roof of the building.

He gets home a little late because of his antics trying out his powers after school and gets scolded by uncle Ben. Aunt May tries to calm Ben down but Peter just accepts it and heads to bed since his mind was filled with his powers. I choose to cast a younger Ben and May here since Hot Aunt May was some nice eye candy for sure. 

As Peter wakes up, he feels better and goes to school as usual. I make it so Peter is incredibly smart that he deliberately allows himself to be beat up only when he knows the teachers are nearby. When he knows only students are there, he begins to dodge yet act scared so as to simply lessen the damage. But he maneuvers to make the bullying get caught on cctv's. Then he would act all hurt as if the blows were serious and eventually gets the principal involved so Flash would have to start backing off and leave him alone. 

Uncle Ben is notified but nothing happens since the principal claims Flash will be made to stay away from him.

Peter is upset nothing is done so he manipulates Flash to head to a no CCTV area and knocks him out as a form of revenge.

Uncle Ben is disappointed with Peter's revenge and proceeds to say his speech about Great responsibility. 

Peter is upset so he acts all emo and heads out the house to release some steam by looking for a fight. He sees an ad for wrestling.

Peter would then start developing his first prototype suit and decides to go fight in a wrestling match with Crusher Hogan to earn money. I make it similar to Raimi films a bit where he doesn't get paid much so he lets the crook pass him by.

Later on, he finds out his uncle dies after trying to search for him to calm him down. Peter hunts the criminal and sees his face.

Peter learns his great lesson and decide to knock out the criminal and leaves him out cold for the police. He doesn't kill him since he understands his own role in the death of uncle Ben.

I add a bit of a montage of time passing to show Peter being super depressed at uncle Bens death for a few weeks. Then Peter starts making his first actual suit and starts developing his webbing. I also show that Flash no longer bothers him since the beat up and the news of Uncle Ben's death showing Flash wasn't 100% a douche and has a bit of remorse. This was similar to Amazing Spider-man where Flash appears sympathetic to Peter on his uncle's death showing a good side to Flash. This was much better in my opinion compared to the Raimi and MCU flash.

Though I still make Flash a Spidey fan later on. 

Peter finalizes his web shooters and starts becoming Spider-man. Here's where I make it different from any of the films. This time, I make my movie's climax, an entire warehouse of criminals who robbed an armored car. Peter would wear his suit for the first time and fight through almost an army of thugs who run an organized crime syndicate. This was where I wanted him to show of all his powers to the audience. He defeats everyone eventually after much action but realizes that there was a mastermind behind this crime syndicate and he was never in the location at all. The final boss there was a thug named hammer head who for some reason has a very inhumanly powerfull flat top head.

It will be revealed that there is a kingpin of crime at the end, also that he intends to rectify this setback, though I frame it like its for the next movie. 

As an epilogue, I show Peter and May trying to do better. And Peter starts to become confident in school. I also show his dedicated final swing with some slow motion sequences.

I end the movie with Gwen Stacy talking to Peter for the first time. 

I make the first post credits scene a paper file of Spider-man with listed witness accounts of his powers and deeds and his identity full of question marks. Then the file is set down inside a folder. And said folder closes and the logo on the folder is SHIELD. 

I make the final post credits a preview of a dark area in the sewers and a huge silhouette walks towards the camera. The being is still in the dark but the camera zooms in on its face. A faint light shines on the face which reveals a huge lizard like face before it cuts to black.

On paper the movie seems short but I can expand this by making the film a little bit similar to Battinson's movie. No big time super villains yet, just the main hero dealing with relatively grounded situations and somewhat normal enemies before hammer head, but I make it as if the danger is real. I add action and consequence. But I save the big time super villain crazyness to start from the second movie onwards.

Since I now have Matrix FD and the instance Movie making planet in a separate server, I can shoot the entire movie inside the instance. I was originally going to use Martian's shapeshifting to be a younger Peter but with DCU, I can just make a younger avatar anyway.

But I can't start production yet. At least not until either I go officially launch the DCU or have actors and actresses including an entire film crew sign NDA's.

But at least I can get started with the shooting locations and build my own recreation of MCU New York.
