Mizuki got up and walked to class upon hearing the bell, grumbling to no end about how the cafeteria should provide more food and about how tired he was before finding his seat for class.
Apparently, starving children and giving them shitty food was a rule that was mandated by any cafeteria, regardless of where you are in the multiverse.
Just in time too as not a moment later, the teacher appeared in the class in a puff of smoke.
Teacher: "Alright Class, we are now going to go over Ninja World History!"
An audible groan could be heard from the students as they heard the subject for the day. Clearly the class was less than enthusiastic about this particular subject.
Anko: "Do you think he ever gets bored of doing that?"
Mizuki nearly jumped in surprise as he turned his head and saw Anko next to him.
He could have sworn she wasn't there five seconds ago.
Mizuki: "I know I sure would, how did you even get in here without the teacher noticing that you're late?"
Anko winked at him and placed her finger on her lips; the universal sign for being quiet.
Anko: "Why do you want to know"
She asked in a teasing tone.
Mizuki: "So I can sleep in and come to class late without the teacher noticing"
Anko: "Nope"
she replied, popping the P at the end.
Anko and Mizuki both just stared at each other a second before bursting out in giggles, desperate to not be seen by their teacher who was busy droning on about sweet all nothing.
The afternoon passed relatively quickly after that, thanks in no small part to having a comrade to have as a lookout for when he took a nap or someone who found the class just as boring as he did.
Hearing the bell ring, Anko and Mizuki were out the door first. They decided to meet up for dumpling sometime and went their separate ways.
After she left Mizuki heard a voice coming from behind him.
Obito: "Ooh, so THAT'S who you like Mizuki... I see, I see, not a bad choice"
Turning around, Mizuki was face to face with a certain Goggled Uchiha.
Mizuki: "Tell me that one after you get out of the friend zone with Rin"
Obito: "H-H-How?"
Obito: 'You spend more time staring at her than do sleeping, eating, training or literally anything else"
Obito had a light blush on his face as he started to franticly attempt to deny what Mizuki had just said.
Mizuki: "Come on, lets go!"
Sighing in defeat, Obito ran after Mizuki into the Forest to meet up with Shisui.
After 5 minutes of chakra leaping from branch to branch, the duo finally came to a familiar spot in the forest.
Landing, they saw a familiar figure sitting on a branch, eating snacks.
Mizuki: "Hey Shisui!"
Glancing down, Shisui tried to say hi back but with all of the food in his mouth, the attempt was useless.
With the sounds that came out of his mouth sounding less like human speech, and more akin to some sort of ancient cult language to summon some sort of devil.
After another few minutes, Shisui leapt off of the branch he was sitting on and landed on the ground perfectly.
Shisui: "Nailed It"
The boys then discussed their plans for the day, Shisui said it would be a good idea for them to all get a handle on some fire style jutsu, as both of them were lacking any actual firepower.
(A/N: Pun Intended.)
Deciding to focus on the jutsu which he was the most familiar with, Shisui decided to focus on the Phoenix Flower Jutsu, followed by the infamous fireball jutsu.
Mizuki was surprised to hear this, after all these techniques were only meant for Uchiha and not for outsiders.
When he asked him about this Shisui gave a careless shrug.
Shisui: "I'm an Uchiha and I'm teaching you so its all good"
Sighing at the simplistic logic behind Shisui's words, Mizuki shrugged and chased behind Obito and Shisui.
If they were going to teach him their Clan Jutsu, he wasn't one to say no.
After spending just shy of forty five minutes and over eighty percent of his chakra reserves on the first of the two Uchiha Jutsu, Mizuki was finally able to cast the first.
And whilst he would still need to practice the jutsu more for it to be effectively in combat, that would come with time.
Obito was lagging slightly behind Mizuki, completing the jutsu a little over five minutes passed when Mizuki did.
The group of three all decided that they should break up early for the night as they all had things to do.
Obito wanted to go hang out with Rin, he was afraid that they would grow distant from one another with all of the time that he wasn't hanging out with her compared to before.
Meanwhilst, Mizuki noticed his weakness in shurikenjutsu and weaponry as a whole.
As a matter of a fact, he had never so much as threw a shuriken since he arrived in this world. Crazy as that may be.
Shisui meanwhilst, wanted to read up on the new content they had now that they moved classes.
He loved using class time to catch up on lost sleep and wouldn't be able to do so unless he knew that he could handle whatever the teacher could throw at him.
Chakra Leaping in formation, the three boys rushed to the exit of the Uchiha Compound, with Shisui insisting on seeing his friends out.
As the two boys left, they turned around to say their goodbyes before rushing towards the village.
Apparently Rin's house was surprisingly close to the Academy so Mizuki and Obito agreed to walk together because they were heading in the same direction.
After another ten odd minutes passed, Obito and Mizuki finally reached the crossroads where they would separate.
Mizuki: "See you tomorrow"
Obito: "Yup! See ya!"
The boys both split up in an instant, leaving Mizuki alone to think to himself whilst he continued on for another two minutes until he reached the academy.
Glancing around, Mizuki realized that there was seemingly nobody else there.
Mizuki hummed a song to himself as he set up the targets along logs before taking his position ten metres away.
Long story short, Mizuki was absolute shit at throwing Kunai and Shuriken. He had hardly a ten percent accuracy rating, and all of his kunai would hit the outside ring.
Nevertheless, he didn't give up.
Throw.
Collect.
Repeat.
This process repeated itself over and over again until it got dark. During this time however, a figure took note of Mizuki's hard work.
As the silver haired boy collected his Kunai and Shuriken one final time before leaving though, he heard a voice behind him.
???: "Why do you work so hard"
Without so much as a moment of hesitation, Mizuki replied
Mizuki: "To be the strongest"
Stereotypical as it may be, that's all Mizuki wanted.
To be powerful.
Like he never was back on earth.
After all, it was the most important thing in this world.
Nobody elected Naruto as Hokage because of his intellect.
They elected him because he could annihilate anything that poses a threat to the village.
??: "And what about everyone else with the same goal?"
Mizuki now had a smirk as he replied
Mizuki: "I'll crush them"
??: "How?"
Mizuki: "Through training more and working harder than the other guy."
This answer satisfied the figure as he stepped out of the shadow, his figure only now fully visible in the glow of the sun which had only just set.
??: "You think hard work can solve all of your problems?"
Mizuki: "That's right, talent might be important, but you can overcome basically anything if you work hard enough."
??: "Nice to meet you, I'm Might Guy, and I will become the strongest"
Mizuki: "Likewise, I'm Mizuki. your previous statement is incorrect. You are standing in front of the person who will be the strongest."
Title: Might Guy
