Entering the Naruto World (Part 2)

After taking a moment to compose himself, Mizuki finally got a good look at Iruka for the first time.

Beyond having some baby fat still adorning his face, and some of his proportions being slightly different, he was virtually identical to the version that he knew from the anime.

Same Tan skin and Scar, Same dark brown hair, Hell, he even had the same pineapple hairstyle.

Speaking of Iruka, he was starting to look more and more concerned before walking up to Mizuki.

Iruka: "Heeey! Mizuki! Are You Alright".

Quick to respond, Mizuki used some of the acting talent left by his predecessor in order to muster up a believable response.

Mizuki: "Yup! Totally fine, that was an awesome kick though!"

According to the Old Mizuki's memories, both Iruka and him were in their first year at the academy.

For today though, they both decided to play a game of one on one soccer after classes and the ball managed to land right in Mizuki's face.

After getting hit in the face, Mizuki then collapsed into unconsciousness, where he got possessed by Oliver's Soul.

After the incident, Mizuki decided to play along and continue being friends with Iruka and keep up the act that the Old Mizuki put up.

Although Mizuki is certainly a less than competent villain and fighter, even at his current age he was still an incredibly skilled actor. For now though, Mizuki's first priority was to organize himself.

Mizuki: "Hey Iruka, I'm starting to feel a little light headed, I think I'm gonna go home and rest up a bit."

Iruka: "Thats horrible! Are you sure you don't need anything?"

Iruka started to look incredibly concerned and then looked at the floor, with a guilty look in his eye.

Mizuki leaned over and flicked Iruka's forehead.

Iruka: "Ouch, Hey Mizuki What was that for?"

Little Iruka looked at Mizuki with a little kid pouting look.

Mizuki couldn't help himself and busted out laughing

Mizuki: "sorry, sorry, I couldn't help myself!"

Mizuki: {Does this count as bullying children? Meh, who cares?}

Iruka was slowly but surely starting to turn red

Mizuki "Hey Iruka, come on it wasn't your fault."

Iruka looked at Mizuki with a questioning gaze.

Iruka: "Really?"

Mizuki: "Really"

Iruka: "Alrighty then! See you tomorrow"

Mizuki: "See you tomorrow."

After Iruka left back with his parents, Mizuka started whistling a tune as he was heading back to his apartment.

The memories of the Old Mizuki told him that the 2nd Shinobi War just came to an end with his parents perishing over the course of the conflict.

This left him with a government payment once a month and a free apartment,with his situation being similar to Naruto's at the beginning of the story in that regard at least..

Getting to the apartment, Mizuki unlocked the door and stepped inside before immediately having a single thought to himself.

Mizuki: {How the fuck was someone able to live here? It's a fucking pigsty!}

There was dirty laundry everywhere alongside expired food just laying on the table, the bed was unmade, and had not been washed in what looked like months.

It was even worse than Naruto's.

Naturally, the first thing that Mizuki did was to clean up.

Throwing out the rotten food, taking all of the dirty clothes to the laundromat, cleaning all of the floors.

No matter what reality you are in, you cannot escape the horror of having to clean.

After spending two whole hours cleaning his apartment, he was finally able to turn it into something presentable.

It was not immaculate by any means but it was still livable.

And that is a whole lot more than what can be said about the apartment two hours ago.

As it was getting dark out, Mizuki decided to go out to grab something to eat rather than cooking.

Walking down the street, Mizuki was amazed to discover that Ichiraku existed even though he was an odd twenty years before the start of the main story.

Upon seeing the iconic building, and hearing the rumbling of his stomach, Mizuki decided to go in and have something to eat.

Walking into the building, he noticed that the shop was starting to close down.

Discouraged, Mizuki was about to walk out when he heard someone shout over the counter

??: "Oi kiddo!"

Mizuki turned around to find Teuchi looking back at him from behind the counter.

Teuchi: "Why you leaving?"

Mizuki: "Oh, you looked like you were shutting down for the night so I was gonna go-"

Teuchi: "not gonna happen"

Mizuki:"huh"

Teuchi: "well make something for ya"

Mizuki:"alrighty then, I will have one pork miso ramen"

Said Mizuki, ordering the Seventh Hokage's favorite dish.

Teuchi: "coming right up!"

After sitting down at the bar and waiting for about five minutes, Mizuki was finally able to have some dinner.

Teuchi: "How is it kid"

Teuchi leaned over the bar asking with a confident smile.

Mizukiki "M-mph pho pho-od"

Replied Mizuki, as he was busy stuffing his face with the stuff.

After finishing the entire dish, he started to chug the broth, not letting a single drop of the dish go to waste.

After another five minutes passed, Mizuki placed down an empty bowl and let out a satisfied sigh before patting his belly.

Mizuki: "Wow Mr, that is the best Ramen I have ever had"

Mizuki: {even on earth there was nothing quite like that, god damn that was a satisfying meal.}

Mizuki: "How much do I owe you?"

Teuchi: "On the house"

Mizuki: "Really??, Thats awesome! thanks Mr"

After talking with Teuchi a little whilst longer and promising him to stop by at some point in the near future, Mizuki got up and left Ichiraku.

Soon enough, After about another ten minutes walking, Mizuki finally got home and got into bed.

Mizuki: "I can't believe I am in the naruto world"

The boy muttered softly to himself, also staring up at the ceiling.

And so, Oliver's first day in this brand new world was brought to a close, marking the beginning of what would become one of the Ninja World's greatest journeys.
